Bro, there are how many millions of Japanese people that everyday are 'dead inside' - following the program. Congrats on having the guts to live your own life! It may not be easy, but you are doing it. Prediction: 5k subs by end of May 2024!
I am going through quite a bit right now in my life. As an avid traveler myself, I am so soothed by your videos. Please do know that you have been helping a soul, at least, with your content. Looking forward to the day you can monetize your videos.
Rooting for you from Bay area, California! Love seeing you hang out with normal people, in their houses, businesses, restaurants. Its a great look at Japan that you dont see in other J vloggers. Monetization before September, lets go!
Push, for the art. Push for the hell of it. Push because we want to see you push. Great channel, no shame in how you are living. That goes doubly so for the fact that this content will soon provide enough that you wont have to rely on the kindness of others and none the less your shear resilience. The good people who accept you will be immortalized in your journey as you share with the world, kindness.
I just found your channel and am enjoying your work. Thank you for the time and effort you put into sharing your adventures with us; I'm looking forward to seeing more! Liked & subscribed!
just started watching your channel from pearl and i got to say that friend at the end is a true friend. became rich and never forgot about you whne you where in need
Yes, true. But I was a little bit curious/upset/pondering WHY did the night he saw his friend end up being back in the tent? I know there are many things in peoples' lives that we don't know about, so shouldn't judge. There could be endless reasons why he couldn't stay at the guy's house. It's just a little bit of a mystery why a person not struggling would just wave good-bye after dinner, knowing the other person is going to sleep in his tent.
@@user-zk5rt3gb3e i cant speak on this specific situation but their could be many reasons why he couldnt stay at his house, but at the end of the day. His friend toook him out to eat and amde sure he was feed. If he wa able to , im sure he woula allow him to pitch the tent outside , but being in japan he may be afraid of the judgeing from neightbors or peers
@@annetteunderwood4688 now your asking to much lmao the dude is a friend who knows how good of one and your asking him tonpay for his hotel for a week?!
Omg Nagoya! This brings me back memories, I used to live in Aichi and from time to time go to Wakamiya skatepark Keep it up, brother! 2nd video I'm watching from you and I'll keep following your journey! Cheers!
Wow, congratulations buddy on 10k subscribers. I subbed literally 2 days ago and you were on 7k, wow, just wow. Keep showing us your journey, really interesting seeing another side of Japan. Love from the UK ❤
As an American millennial, I really appreciate your style of making videos. I don't get to travel as much as I wish I could and all I ever see from Japan are "travel" promotionals that just show the most beautiful parts quickly (and maybe that's just how a lot of Japanese people live, in a blur of work and play without much thought in between), but *this* is exactly what I would be doing if I was there myself, just walking around and looking at the mundane things people don't notice in their everyday lives. I think that you give a unique perspective because you *are* living at such a slowed-down pace compared to the average Japanese person, and I really appreciate seeing things from your perspective. You're not trying to sell me anything, you're just walking around and looking at things-- not to mention you have fabulous English (which I say as an ESL teacher of 5 years working specifically with people from Asia). Seriously, keep doing what you're doing, it's such a breath of fresh air.
Twice I’ve noticed, you mentioned your knee was sore. It makes me concerned because in your situation, your healthy body is so important! What are your options for public health care in Japan? Can you check a doctor about that knee?
Just came across your channel. As a person who cannot wait to travel to Japan and has always been curious about the people and area. It's interesting to see an authentic perspective and not a cookie cutter one. I truly hope your RUclips kicks off so that you can have more stability! Praying for the best for you.
Crazy how generally frowned upon skateboarding is across urban cultures, with a general "it destroys the architecture" maybe add skateboarding into the architecture and just let people have fun and get around.
This restaurant Yayoi (Yayoiken) used to have unlimited rice at Singapore branch, but some years ago, stopped free unlimited. And the food became smaller portions & the unlimited pickles also less. There was no refill machine, just scoop from a huge rice cooker that had some missing teflon coating. The franchise is also in Bangkok but again, no free unlimited & the rice is soggy & clumpy.
I am still watching your videos from start to finish but I had to comment once I saw you eat at Yayoi-ken! Brings back memories when I lived in the Kanagawa prefecture and would eat there after hanging out with friends 😂 I have to do that next time when I visit and eat a bowl with just the Japanese pickles first. Happily enjoying your videos and it brings joy to me that you’re doing what you enjoy.
I was just in the Bay Area for a larussell backyard show! The city has such a great vibe, very neighborly and close community kinda feeling. I loved it!!
You started your video by Spaceship Aqua. I've been there last fall. Sadly it was raining then but a cool place nevertheless. That yayoi place sounds good. I'll have to try it next time I'm in japan.
Just watched all of your videos you've uploaded so far, wishing you all the best with your RUclips journey on this new account! I'm a remote worker from Singapore and I worked remotely from Japan last year for 3 months (Fukuoka -> Hiroshima -> Nagoya) and I'm going back in Oct this year and doing another 3 months remote work trip (Yokohama -> Nagoya -> Hiroshima -> Fukuoka) - hope we can get to hang out if we happen to be in the same city!
Greetings, I wish you all the best, thanks for the video blog. I am interested in the truth and through your channel I see the truth of Japan. If I had the opportunity in such a way, I would also explore Japan, and not through travel agencies, glamour, and the cream of lies. That's how I went with a bicycle in my country and I never regretted it. Because when you look, most people don't have much to say about their life, that's how it was in my case until then, and after that I started sailing so I experienced even more. As I said, I'm interested in the truth and nothing but the truth, and thank you for that. Because the truth is that the path is difficult, but it is worth it and no one can take away the experience that can only help you later in life. ps from Croatia with love
