Fixing Embroidery Distortion in Hat & Cap Designs - Digitizing Tutorial

Whenever I can find the time, I’m compelled to put on my “Embroidery Medic” scrubs and help one of our Facebook Group members with their design issues. (check out the links below to join one of our groups!)
Due to push and pull compensation, the design in question had some distortion issues happening. Thankfully, as a professional digitizer, this is something I’ve probably done a thousand times in my career. Just looking at the photo of the finished result I knew what to do.
In this educational video, I’ll walk you through the theory that I used to make a few quick fixes in this design, turning it into a commercial success. Once again proving you can never assume that what you see on your computer screen will embroidery the same results as the proof is always in the stitching!
