Awesome message!!!! I remember being baptized 47 years ago in a backyard pool! Great message too on putting off the old man & put on the new life. Thank God we don’t need to give into the old man. We should live for God after salvation. Sadly many allow the old man to rule their life after salvation but they don’t have to. Yes God owns you now & live like it. Great message. Great presentation of the Gospel & the discipleship walk afterwards that we should walk in.

Such wonderful preaching... I think one of the reasons that it's important to live right in the ways of Christ is because God gets the glory when we do that.. people get saved when they see that we walk as children of light... I remember one preacher said, " sometimes we are the only Bible anyone will ever read"

He sees your heart. Do you know Jesus as your saviour? We all need help from God to stop being awful, and He is ready and willing. We just need to ask, do our part to crucify our flesh, and even if we fail, He will help us get up, dust us off and send us along, just like a loving father would. He loves you more than you could ever know.

Amen. This is where the seven baptisms come in. When we get baptized in the Holy Spirit at the time of salvation, we are baptized into Christ's death, and water baptism is a picture of that.. so water baptism is a picture of what happens at Spirit baptism... Which is also a picture of the life, death, burial, and Resurrection

So must I be Baptized for guaranteed salvation. I once believed that was true during my attendance at Church Of Christ but now I’m hearing that’s a work Salvation and I left their teaching based off them teaching that healings died with the Apostles 🤔
The gospel of the grace of God is different than the gospel of the Kingdom. I agree with most of what you are saying... But the disciples didn't know what he was talking about when he spoke of the cross. They believed that the kingdom was coming and that's the gospel of the kingdom... So yes the Old testament saints were pointed toward the Life death burial and resurrection, and pointed toward the cross but they didn't know it exactly.

Are you & I JUSTIFIED/saved by faith or are works also required ?
Read Eph. 2:8-9, For salvation, it can never be by works, today, tomorrow or forever. When you are justified by faith in what Christ did for you, you are justified now at that very moment FOREVER. Hope that helps. Yankee

In the past I noticed ? a deviation from that in some of your in-context teachings.
Paul teaches eternal rewards/loss based on how a JUSTIFIED believer leads there life but that life lead does not UNjustify/UNsave a believer :)
Is it a sin for a believer to not be baptized?
Baptism represents what happened to us when we are born again
It represents that you believe you have died with Christ and will be resurrected from the dead to live with Christ forever.
Yes because if you are a believer, it's God's will you be baptized. However, you will not loose your salvation if you don't.
@graftme3168 Why would they need something that merely represents something when they supposedly have the reality of it? Why have a representation of belief when actual belief is present?
