I am from India. I was there in Uganda in feb end for 12 days for installation of irrigation system near bayale on kampala jinja road. I visit some shops for requirement of some pvc fitting. I found the costs of european made fitting are too high compared to india and ugandans are using it. All shops are of indians. I am surprised. Why ugandan not import it from India and not do business there. It helps both ugandan trader and ugandan customer. Uganda govt has to help ugandan importer by taking less import duty. You can try for many small product.
The Africans were totally uneducated and had no idea what a beautiful country Uganda was and these Africans ruined their own hopes and wishes. Asians who left are all doing well and have settled and very happy. Worked hard and are now looking back and Thanking Idi Amin.

This Ugandan-Indian devide of August 1972 is a very very "Sad" event in History ... How we wish Musevini was in chair as President. This bad event of History would never have occurred ... Idi Amin was the worst Human Being and Most Unfortunate Man of Uganda who could ever sit in chair of President. What did he gain ? Nothing at all ... Uganda lost its most productive community & it shattered Uganda's Economy. Indians & Uganda's are both humble people & both had everything to gain from each other. OK, Idi Amin kicked out Indians. Fine. That was his wisdom. But brutally killing random Indians to terrorise them - that was his ultimate genocide for which he goes down in History as a Devil, and will never come out of it... Amen ... ✝️ ...
