What makes you say they “assumed superiority”? They were a successful minority within Uganda and had been living there for generations. Britain has a terrible past. Her col😅nial record is steeped in exploitation, slavery, enslavement, dehumanization and undiluted parasitism.
But of all the peoples she so colonized, the African was the worst hit.
Imagine this: After taking over the lands, exploiting the land, looting the minerals and artifacts, Britain had to export Asians, especially Indians, to East Africa to take over African lands.
In due time, these Asians became the deputy colonialists, becoming the middle class and pushing the natives down the social ladder.
Britain did not only export her parasitism to Africa, she encouraged the Indians to export their caste system to Africa too.
