My friends waited 8 years. They filed mandamus against the USCIS in July 2023. They got approval in early August 2024. But I hear that people have been getting mandamus refusals for the last 2-3 months because there are too many applicants. Tell me what do you think, should I apply for mandamus now? Or should I first apply for expedite and ombudsman? I applied for asylum in January 2017. Thank you
I applied for asylum visa 2019. But this application final hearing date was 5th December 2022. After going to the court the hearing was cancelled. The judge was sick that’s why .now I’m waiting for the another hearing date. I made a motion to expedite the case. After how many days the result of Motion is available. how long does it take to get a date. Does motion really work??
