We were here about 8 years ago when we visited Normandy. This place was amazing! It was really crowded but still made it out to see everything and experience the tides. We would love to go back and just spend the night to experience the serenity and peacefulness.
Another option is to stay on the mainland before the bridge/causeway. It's still touristy, but slightly cheaper and a tiny bit more to do, although, I'm not sure if some hotels and restaurants close down for a period after summer is over, but many hotels & restaurants were closed the end of September. Staying close to Mont St-Michel gave us the opportunity to hop on the shuttle and go back at night and walk around after all of the tourist left. It definitely was worth the trip down there!!
@@todayissomeday I saw the sign for the campground and wanted to check it out, but my sister made a face (she's not a camper), so I nixed it. I did want to see what it was like tho.
We were there 6 years ago, because it was a holiday, it was really busy so we bought a museum pass that took us through 3 museums all the way to the top, avoiding the really busy streets.
Really good video. That is a beautiful place to visit and probably need more than a day to see it all. Honestly the only thing I ever thought of going to France for was to visit the Normandy area. Now there are two places on the list. I really enjoyed this video and thought it was over until y'all started the bloopers. Those were terrific. I love y'alls videos keep up the great work. God bless y'all and stay safe on your worldly travels.
Thank you for your beautiful videos, tangent: 1. We have the same water system as you do. Do you have an ultraviolet system too? 2. Do you drink only city water with your filter system or do you also drink from your freshwater tank? Please advise
We do not use the ultraviolet system. We will fill our tank from the city water and use it if city pressure is low or we are boondocking. I have the filtration system set up inside the bay to always filter when we introduce water to the rig.

We are planning our next trip to Europe now!
I was gonna write that a teleprompter might be useful but WAIT 😮 then there would be no bloopers 😂. Great video!!
You got it! We couldn’t resist the bloopers.
Best bloopers ever!!

Awesome 😮
Glad you liked it!
Funny that I didn't receive notification for this one, found it by accident.
RUclips notifications can be a little wonky sometimes! They unsubscribe folks out of the blue.
A caravan is a (based on USA sizes) rather small fifth wheel. A mobilehome is a rather small RV.
I was fortunate enough to go there.
Beautiful place. Off topic tho.. is it just us or is your sound really different in this video? Sounds echoey and distorted. FYI.
In parts yes. We didn't have our mics that day. The stone is harsh on sound!
So this is the Abbey that Sound of Music was filmed? Some of those images look familiar 😊.
I visited the Abbey in Salzburg, Austria. That was where the musical was filmed.
