Was a bit disappointed that it only come in one LED color. But then again, you can't really expect much for a keyboard that only cost around 20 bucks. For what it cost, this keyboard was still worth it :)
Wow great review with an emphasis on the things that matter most. Visuals and jokes were on point! This is an amazing spoken review of yours, and I can’t wait to see more.
Thank you! I tried to ensure the review was fair and neutral as even though it seem dated, I wanna give it a fair shot and compare against other boards in the same price point. Don't think I'll be doing these content often as I've been taking a backseat in this hobby, but i do have some interest in content creation... Might just do some content on my current collection and that's about it for now
Yeah, this also reminds me of the RK61! Not exactly the same keycaps, but the logo on the front right, the way the back "sticker" has that notch on the bottom left, and so on. Also LOL @3:11. SEXY indeed. Thanks for the review!
Yea it seems to be a near 1:1 clone of the RK61 with some differences! Initially on Kemove website it was stated as hotswap, however I opened up and found it wasn't so I reached out to them. They changed the details afterwards thankfully. I think the stance of the review would have been different if it was hotswap for $25 USD DK61SExy
Mine will be arriving today but form everything I heard it’s good but the difference is that urs came with the cheap plastic one and mine said it comes with the good metal one
hello man, i have this keyboard, do you find a way to connect to your pc and permanently activate the arrow buttons without pressing the fn key? I have troubles connecting to my pc so i can't even test it the software downloaded from their site doesnt work
Thanks for watching! No, this board is not programmable via software, so there's no way around it. Although if you are determined enough, you can check out kmonad github.com/kmonad/kmonad
damn i like the KB but i was really hoping i would be able to change the color i have an all white mouse and with green RGB and my PC is all white with Green RGB ima still use this KB tho cause for the price it is worth. and ill just find an all white KB later with Green RGB... great review man.
Thank you for watching! Yea sadly it does not have rgb but only white led. otherwise for basic use at that price point, i have not much complains here besides hoping that it's hotswap for easy maintenance.
I just bought this one, I love the look and the feel. But the kemove site gives no usable (for me anyway information) does anyone know how you take a snapshot with this keyboard???
It’s weird because I bought this keyboard, the black version and it only comes in green for the backlit color and when I went to the reviews in Amazon, someone got one with RGB?? I was kinda mad considering I couldn’t find the same keyboard with RGB, but it’s still an okay keyboard for me. And they also had different keycaps but I couldn’t find any keycaps that work with it.
Hnm woww seems like a lot of videos out there didn't even bother covering the RGB.... Welp least you know and you could try returning it. If you must have RGB for a cheap price, I think the redragon K630 dragonborn is a good option for sub 45 USD
@@Ray.F Also, My Keyboard When i hit a key like makes this like Metal/Spring Sound- Do you know why this happens? Ive tried Pulling off the shift key but im not sure, I think its just the inside of the keyboard's metal or smt getting hit by the key, Again Im Not Sure
61SE is not hotswappable and uses mx style switches, but 61E is hotswappable, but only with optical switches. it will not function with traditional mx style switches.
i watched 10 videos just to find out if it had RGB lol. Like my old logitech you could just hold a key to change the color just like you would change the Lighting pattern haha. Thank you so much. Typing on the keyboard now. It will be my traveling keyboard and needed something cheap but sturdy with lights :P
if you don't plan to do any single modding and just want a beater board, i think it's fine. otherwise i think in 2024 there's a lot more better options for at least a budget 65% nowadays
Is there a way to put cherry switches into the board? Or it is just outemu compatible as you said (like any tweak mod i can apply to have my cherry switch inside it)
Oh about that, i think you misinterpreted. I was refering to how the switches were similar to Outemu switches. The Keyboard is not hotswappable as mentioned. It can fit in cherry mx switches, but only with 3 pin MX switches, and you'll need to desolder the original switches to do so. But the time spent on desoldring and soldering switches would be too much to justify the price of this board.
@@Ray.F oh. I see, I'm familiar with soldering, so it's not a problem and the reason that this keyboard is a really good choise is that it's capable of doing 1000hz polling rate. (If Amazon doesn't lie)
@@robiimadot.9273 Ah i see..i could run a polling rate test when I'm free. It is using a software that's present in this video: ruclips.net/video/2xG_8zuIS8Q/видео.html Even if this board does not have 1000hz, i do know that the Gk68x is confirmed 1000hz, I've tested it before.
@Ray .F okay, thank you for testing. I hope it is because i don't care about the rgb and the one you mentioned is cheap, but i need to buy keycaps and switches (i only need 10, but i would need to buy 62 out of them if i buy the gk68x). Btw , is it a problem if a switch has 2 pins only? I want to buy silent browns over brown switches so i won't annoy the family and i will have a good typing feel as well.
It's a $25 soldered 60%, so take that info as it is. If you want to swap out switches without dealing with desoldering, go with the redragon board. However, the dragonborn is outdated now as it only has outemu sockets (only compatible with mostly outemu switches, and probably some akko cs switches) Check out their other newer boards, they use gateron / kailh style hotswap sockets now
@@raypdw nowadays a lot of keycap sets are compatible with mx style stems! Just have to look on the keycap underside, if it's a cross shaped cutout or not

How did you open the DK61se, like in the minute 1.02

just unscrew the screws in the case, and tilt the board slowly to upside down position, the PCB should come off.

has this keyboard a softwar ? to change the color
