- Minecraft Preview 1.21.30.23 added the bundle after FOUR YEARS. Alongside the bundle we have new redstone updates, new block updates, nether changes, end updates, and more! Today we take a closer look at Minecraft's newest item as well as the many other nice changes included in the new minecraft beta!

I honestly like the idea of rabbit hide being used to upgrade bundles, it's maybe a little harder to get than leather, but it would be a great reason to seek it out.
They will need to buff rabbit spawns. I never see them
@@Jessepigman69they spawn near mountains, deserts and cold biomes, maybe taigas too. I have also probably seen some at a flower forrest. You probably haven't searched enough

They should use rabbit hide to make a quiver that’s just like a bundle but you can hold multiple stacks but only of arrows.
If you wear it, you draw slightly quicker as well.
Its a cool idea but it would destroy the reason to get infinity as people can easily farm arrows, this is the reason you can only choose between infinity or mending
The quiver is a scrapped feature that was for 1.9 or 1.8 but they scrapped it because reasons.
@@CaryPenyu Only way to make this work is nerfing infinity so it's harder to obtain, maybe they could make so you could switch between arrows. Up to 4 stacks to offset it for the cleaver.
@@thatsruffdog makes bundles be able to work as a semi-quiver, only able to shoot arrows when available at the top of its inventory
It will be great if we could mix different tipped arrows and normal arrows in the quiver.

Java Players are always so confused when Mojang refers to blocks in Education Edition... Underwater TNT is a separate block in Education Edition that will explode in water and destroy blocks as if the water was air.

Sorry for asking the (probably) obvious: By "as if water was air" do you mean it replaces blocks underwater with water sources?
The bundle will be so helpful for building like when you have a bunch of wierd trapdoors and different detail blocks. You can store it in one slot instead of 12!
Weird detail blocks are such a big inventory clogger. I was building a castle looking sugarcane farm just now and had like 6 stone brick walls 6 mossy stone brick walls and 6 spruce trapdoors and stuff. Bundle will make Minecraft so much more fun!

yea but its balanced by only being able hold 64 items in a single bundle so you couldnt put them all into only one slot but it still helps a lot for building and early game inventory space.

And I'm really looking forward to it in the early game. When you're running around with no storage and no shack and 8 million different things in your inventory and you want to keep them all and you're trying to decide what you're going to throw away...yeah 😅

Maybe the old bundle crafting recipe could be reused in an "Upgraded" varient of the bundle to stack nonstackables. It's more expensive but not too overpowered, maybe like 3 or 4 nonstackables.
Theyd have to make rabits spawn more for sure, or re-add the plains rabbits lost in 1.8.9
I have rabbits spawn all over my base area so that's not a problem for me in that world. They're also very common in the deserts, which we are often exploring for other things anyways.
I agree with the being able to size up and coloring the bundle idea, also you should be able to craft the bundle with either leather or rabbit hide
YEEEEES If it's made with leather, you should be able to dye it just like how you do it in cauldrons with armor. Functionality and aesthetics: 10/10

the fact you can interact with bundles in chests is so amazing ive been waiting for so long for the bundle but my realm is already way progressed past that, like we sort our inventories by shulker boxes but this way i can make a chest room and just have everything organized

Honestly if the bundle could hold 3-4 stacks of items it would be really useful. In my opinion it doesn’t work great for structures like trial chambers as most of the mob drops you will get stacks of so an item that can only hold one stack worth isn’t that great, plus you only really want the space for the non stackable items, which the bundle can only hold one of so it’s not really worth an item slot.
But if it could hold 4 you could hold like 4 stacks of logs for building, or like 4 tools for use at any time, especially if you used it for like fortune or silk touch tool variants, or maybe holding different ranged weapons like crossbow, trident, or a normal bow.
Even holding two stacks of items would be great as it could expand the storage opportunities just that slight bit to make it not feel like a mostly useless addition for storage.
That or they should make a special bundle that can only hold one type of block at a time but could maybe hold like 4-8 stacks of it

I am pretty bummed the bundle doesn’t hold multiple tools but I suppose I see the logic in it. Still holding out for a tool belt of some sort.

I think they should keep the bundle as is, and add a bag of holding. Similar to the bundle but more expensive, maybe costs an eye of ender or something. This would hold more, maybe 2-4 stacks or 8 tools. This would add some good progression and be an in-between of the bundle and shulker box. This would solve more inventory problems and not break the game progression or step on the use of shulker boxes

I like the UI for the bundle, its like using any bag, if you have a lot in it, some stuff is gonna sit at the top, while a lot is buried underneath everything else

I suppose they'll have to update the azalea tree if they're getting rid of the leaves and leaves2 block names since its feature specifies them as blocks the azalea is allowed to grow through when generating. The compatability versioning will help with that for a while but I have to imagine the azalea will require an engine version bump at some point.
Underwater TNT is an education edition feature. It’s just tnt that blows blocks up underwater.

I honestly don't think the bundle needs to be bigger as then it would lose its true function and it is already amazing at the job it was made for
Like it will revolutionize redstone stuff as there are several bits that will be nice to have the 3 or 4 of each pre-made in the redstone box
Also they ate sleeping on the ability to store compressed and uncompressed forms in the same slot of a shulker (like all the times you uncompress a emerald block to trade and and have to either waste a shulker slot for the strays or toss em on the ground to despawn...now they all can go in the same slot
And most of all the fact that you can fill 1 with 16 other empty sacks for easy consistent management and that you can fling it into the same hopper you likely use for shulker unloading to a storage system or even just manage entities left on the ground
Armadillo scutes should be able to make backpacks... Just saying. Store more bundles and shulkers

Bundles sound amazing for Bedrock, but in the late game. Shulkers are more convenient to carry with you.

I would like if you could craft a quiver with the bundle.
I don’t think the bundle should be used to hold weapons, but we could have a separate item called like a tool belt, that you keep on your hot bar and you can keep your tools in that. Like maybe if you use it you have to hold right click the scroll to select the tool similar to other games that allow you to switch weapons like fps
I don't know if they'll beef up the bundle by letting us increase its capacity (though I'd love it if they did!) but the dyed bundles idea sounds quite plausible. You can dye leather armor, after all, and bundles are made with leather, and color-coding is practically necessary for inventory management. Why *wouldn't* they let us color-code the bundles?

I think Mojang is intentionally NOT putting the bundle in. Why? Because it's been available in various mods for Quite a while now, at least 1 year possibly 2. I've used it & it Always works juuuuuust fine.

There goes my whole plan of having all my gear and tools in a bundle in my enderchest when I log out. It doesn’t fit. Breaking a shulkerbox with your fist is still so very slow and painful.

Btw i never step foot in a basalt delta. I had some BAAAAAAAD experiences in a Basalt delta the first time i explored. Lets just say I ended up in lava with fire resistance and all I saw round me wherever I turned, varying sizes of Magmas. And yes I died. They made it seem like the soul sand valley was the hardest biome But that one is the true hardest biome in my opinion. I can easily handle skeletons and ghasts not so easy with magmas thats why I find it annoying that Magma spawner is in a bastion. You already have trouble with the Brutes you're gonna add on top of that difficulty? I'm sorry nope!
Bundles doesn’t fix inventory problem. It’s ok early game until you get shulkers. Copper alone has 66 different type of blocks. Considering every update if Mojang adds new block types then they need to get serious about inventory management.

@@shellpoptheepicswordmaster755 Bundles primarily designed for early game. It helps till you get to shulkers. At the end you still end up with inventory problem and with bundles additional inventory problem hence additional steps to clear and sort items.
Iirc the bundle problem on bedrock was specifically phone users. Wonder how the interface is in there

Wdym you still get the bundle the same way as you always did, through the experimental toggle. It was never stopping you from getting it before it was added to bedrock, which again, needs the experimental toggle aswell to use.

@@SprayInk-Kreatïv-Nouveau why no?They'll never be as good as shulker boxes, just make them upgradable via whatever expensive method, up to 5 stacks in one bundle. The inventory system of Minecraft is terrible for classifying it as an "Exploration Game" and even Shulkerboxes make it lean towards what it is: A "Base Building" game. Make bundles good so I can just wander before having to return home too early
Bro doesn't understand the point of bundles. Lol carry 64 unique stackables. Shulker Boxes only carry 27 unique stackables. That's 3 shulker boxes.
