- Painting in the evening sunshine at Godrevy in my favourite part of Cornwall. The French easel was setup on the rocks for a spot of plein air oil painting. It was a pure delight to enjoy the Cornwall coast at it's best - with my paints!
Thanks to my daughter for helping with the filming at this rocky location.

Colours used - Titanium White, Lemon Yellow, Cadmium Yellow, Naples Yellow, Cadmium Red, Magenta, Indian Red, Raw Sienna, Raw Umber, Violet, Ultramarine Blue, Cerulean Blue, Cobalt Blue, Ivory Black and Viridian Green.

Hello Andrew, thank you very much for the video and the beautiful motif with Godrevy and the sea with the wonderful evening atmosphere:). You captured the colours so well. The viridian green fits very well into your image. I have skechted this wonderful place many times, it is simply dreamlike there. Thank you for the minutes you took me there:)). It is so nice that your daughter often accompanies you and that you have a good time together. Thank you for explaining what colours and blends you use. That is very helpful. Awesome work Andrew. I've never had the chance to paint the ocean plein air. It looks like a fun challenge, particularly with the short amount of time available before you lost the light. Keep up the good work.

That was a wonderful plein air at a wonderful location and time, Andrew. Was amazed to see the sun rolling along the horizon as long as it did. Madeleine's camera skills are solid, congrats on a fine video. I'm happy to hear you've got the oil bug back and I'm looking forward to seeing future inspiring videos.

Really enjoyed this Andrew, thank you. Love your use of Naples Yellow and am very interested seeing you mix your sea colours which look so beautiful. Particularly interested in colors for water and waves since that is what I paint ... Also like the pallet knife scraping technique ...glad to see you into oils again!
