In this video I will be attempting the most difficult start in bannerlord: Starting with no items, no money, no followers, and the entire world is at war with me.
Will I be able to survive the most difficult start in bannerlord by working my way up to a powerful warband? Or will I be stuck in rock bottom?

Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is a strategy action role-playing video game developed and published by TaleWorlds Entertainment. It is a prequel to Mount & Blade: Warband, a stand-alone expansion for the 2008 game Mount & Blade. Bannerlord takes place 210 years before its predecessor, with a setting inspired by the Migration Period.
Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is a strategy/action role-playing game. The fundamental gameplay premise is the same as previous entries in the series: the player builds up a party of soldiers and performs quests on an overhead campaign map, with battles being played out on battlefields that allow the player to personally engage in combat alongside their troops.

I felt the pain bro! lol I found that sea raider and mountain hideouts to be much easier to fight solo than a pack of looters, the javelins are pretty strong in melee mode. Nice KCD music btw, loved that game!!

I can't express how much I love the story telling aspect of these videos
I know it would make combat considerably harder but... I wish NPCs didn't just do a conga line whenever you are alone and would actually try to surround you somehow.

how would you program the AI then? to split off and attempt to pincer you?
Unless you stay still, there is no way for them to surround you, unless they are significantly faster than you.
Unless TalesWorld somehow manages to include ambush tactics, there is little they can do against players casually kiting people
Try relaistic battle mod, the enemy has better positions, troops block more and enemies use their cavilry better
This may be the most difficult start, but also the most fun. I liked how you handled those forest bandits, by the way.
Also, for whoever wants to attempt this challenge without mods, I have a small tip for you. If your food runs out and you start losing health, seek the nearest Bandit Hideout. Don't attack it, because you can't... instead, "wait until nightfall". While waiting, your health will regenerate much faster than if you're a prisoner, and no lords or bandits will be able to catch you. When night comes, you don't wanna rush in, just walk 1 meter away and wait a couple of in-game hours. Before dawn even breaks, go in the hideout and wait for nightfall yet again, until your health restores. But.. make sure you accomplish something before your health drops below 20%, or you're back to square 1.
My "immersive explanation" for this mechanic is that the bandits build their camps in places that have plenty of wild fruits and small game, so you just skulk around in the bushes and nibble on whatever you find.

@@resugram5597 It's a gaming challenge, creativity comes from how you beat the challenge, not making your own. Besides, Simo's attempt was quicker than mine, and he put his own unique spin on it. :)

I really liked this short story format, small littile adventures are nice.
You should continue this series with Canutes misadventures. I know it might be similair to your current crimelord series but perhaps you could make Canute and his men more chaotic? Taking odd jobs and then double crossing their employers fornextra dennars.

You lost all your infantry that first time to traders because how spread out their forces were compare to yours and they ended up getting semi surrounded when the clashed together.

@Simo this might be favorite lore episode yet. Would be pretty cool to do this with the different factions and see how it turns out. Azari could have man that was found in the desert. The east could have a tribesmen that was kicked from a clan. stuff like that

Protip in small. Engagement... And even big ones if you are quick enough commander.
Deploy your men in a V archers are one line, infantry the other, where they meet is cavalry.
So when they charge in where ever they charge, your men at arms will have their backs to charge into.
If they rush in and go for your archers then archers fall back, infantry charges their back.
If they go infantry archers shoot them I'm the back until your cavalry can charge them in the back. If they go cav you intercept with infantry and then archers shoot them in the bank and your cav goes around and charges their back.
ALWAYS keep your archers firing, falling back and firing again, until they are out of arrows, if they allow you to, or if you have to speed to dictate it. It's not with taking casualties when you do not have to.
Either way do not deploy infantry behind your archers, there's no point you want them in two echelons. Like so: \ / unless on elevation then yes, archers behind.
Also try the war scythe, it's absolutely amazing on foot when you get the timing down and it's unbelievably deadly on horse back, especially raking. {riding parallel to their lines and attacking along that entire line}

Ive been thinking. What about a coop mod where you start North and halcylion South ( or reversed doesnt matter ) that way 2 bandit lords can close in on the scum punishing them. ( would even be a better ending if the 2 of you could battle eachother when meeting halfway )

Man I was just trying to play a new game the other day and I got dumpstered every 5 minutes someone would catch me kill everyone of my men and take me prisoner for like 10 days it happen like 20 times and I said fuck this game and restarted that save was just bad luck
