it's his acceleration that must be so painful for the other runners. Imagine being in the lead and seeing someone continue to go when you're going 100%.
You can have the acceleration as usian and still not beat him due to his height. His strides are unbeatable

A lot of people forget that Bolt was in Athens in 2004 though. It annoys me because it's proof that he had to work his way up, he didn't just spring out of nowhere.

I used to get intense nerves before a race back in school when you’re the fastest everyone expects you to win and you didn’t wanna lose you’re title. He had a combined 7-2 record against other elite fighters of his era (Liston, Frazier, Foremen, and Norton). Not to mention so many other athletes (Gretzky, Jordan, Messi, Ruth, Brady, Federer, Woods, etc). Tyson never won against a good opponent. He beat a lot of mediocre fighters.
