"I'm seeing some confusion in the chat" has serious meme potential
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂
this whole show has serious meme potential lol
LoL.
The ENTIRE SPEECH is copied / INSPIRED by Vishal Garg firing his employees over zoom call.
All the speech.
Bro I want Greg to be live streamer so bad lol
You have to remember that literally everyone in that zoom call is probably more qualified than Greg, the person firing them
Also more qualified than Tom lol
@@pb.j.1753Tom was the only one doing some work
@@PennyWise-eu9nzwhy are you being sorry?
@@PennyWise-eu9nz This is a television show, it seems like you've forgotten and think you are giving out actual advice. You may be experiencing delusions of grandeur. Sorry.
Nepotism
Greg went from puking in a giant costume to slitting throats in a giant corporation in 4 years.
I see you Greg. I see you.
in their timeline, its been like 1 year lol
@@JoaoVictor-yq8ym Has it really?.........damn
Not 4 it's more like 1.5 years
@@dv9239 Logan celebrates his 80th birthday in S1E1, and dies age 86 in this season, so 6 years more or less
@@miguelignaciocharlesgonzal8293he was 84 when he died
He says, "Nice" before he actually ends the call. "Nice" was the last thing that the terminated employees heard in this call.
i saw that classic greg moment lmao
I'm pretty sure that "if you're on this call you're one of the unlucky few" is a direct quote from that CEO who fired a bunch of people over Zoom during Covid
Really driving in the knife there.
This was real?
@@superdupeninja8149 Based on a few true stories, yes,
@@superdupeninja8149 you can view it online, it was "better" and they also said the cry line
Crazy, straight up from that zoom call!
"t-d-d-d-dooo final day of employment" sent me over the edge
One of the messages on the chat says: "Who is this guy? He looks like an intern."
😭 😭 😭
Greg's capacity for evil is really troublesome. Like he can non-challantly fire dozens of people and think nothing of it
That seems pretty much par for the course for a lot of HR departments. I got fired from my dream job over video chat a few months ago with no warning, and the head of HR clearly didn’t give a shit. She basically just told me I wasn’t “a good fit for the job” and fucked right off without going into specifics. 95% sure they just couldn’t afford to pay me anymore.
Now of course that’s just one person being fired as opposed to dozens at once, but still. You pretty much have to be completely soulless in order to do that shit so callously.
Greg is the killer that Logan was looking for
@@TheAndrewj96 still at the end of the day its just orders. like greg here is just the messenger of a piece of paper. i would be kinda sad maybe cuz its tough to fire dozens of people, but its definitely not my problem nor my decision.
thats absolutely normal ppl get fired every single day and it only happens by somone delivering the news, it feels fucked up when it happens to you but its normal its a job that someone has to do, u cant send a dog to fire someone u need a human to do it, it cant be a person whos gonna feel bad afterwords, its the same with most doctors, you never notice how doctors diagnos ppl with horrible diseases all the time and dont really show any emotion about it, they deal with soo much sad shit that its only a job for someone whos can handle there emotion, u dont see doctors crying or overly sad its apart of the job just like firing ppl is when it comes to business
Remember when he tried to sue Greenpeace too?
Wow, the irony of Tom mocking the people being fired but then has his own potential firing being thrown in his face by everyone later at the house party!
Sometimes I forget that Tom is the sort of guy who licks boots of his superiors and yells at minimum wage workers. Very much a "fuck you got mine" kind of guy.
It's a dog eat dog world.
I don't think he was mocking them but telling Greg to put on a sad face lol
No I think he wanted Greg to add more emotion
"nice, done"
my mans really did commit corporate mass murder and treated it like some check item in a list
The game is the game
Bro said “nice” before completely shutting off the meeting 😂
"Nice, done."
Actual sociopath
Probably more out-of-touch and dumb.
Greg was especially Machiavellian in tonight's episode.
Greg is choppin' it up
Greg is choppin' it up!
Greg is choppin' it up
Greg is choppin' it up
Greg is choppin’ it up
Greg is Choppin' it up!
Tom using his time to sext Shiv then mock the people he's firing was the best setup to his downfall from grace over the course of this episode
you didnt get it, it was shiv fall from grace, tom was right about her, as pathetic tom is, hes 100% right about shiv being a toxic person.
@@BB0ysGamesyes Shiv is insufferable
@@BB0ysGamesan't it be both of them?

The thumbs up to Tom and the "dododododoo ah there" while being totally visible and audible to the audience of soon to be terminated 😂 Almost killed me
I hope they make Greg fire Tom. What a great way to finish their arc.
this is EXACTLY what i was thinking during the whole *SPOILER EP 7* "fire ebba" bit
Lol Tom's meltdown over this would be legendary
Hahaha I was just thinking about that
Butcher with a smile.
Well nope
"Too-da-doo-doo-doo...final day of employment!"
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Greg the egg has become a fully grown ruthless rooster. The transformation is complete.
Yup
Greg the Snake
He is gonna be the Successor, he is a Roy after all
True, though he still cant string together two sentences without choking himself.
@@FH-bc9su That's actually good for him tho cause people don't perceive him as a threat. They see him as just some awkward clumsy goofball but there is a very ambitious little slimeball hiding beneath the surface.
When he says “nice” as the last word before ending the call 💀
Greg is fully one of them now. Anyone can be corrupted it seems haha.
I mean, Greg wasn't good guy in the first place, since 1 season he's a literal embodiment of nepotism (all of Roy siblings are, tbf, but at least they are Logan's children, not his nephew... At this point, Greg is more involved with company than Connor.)
He was a no-job having, living off his mother into his thirties with no ambition but a high desire to suck up and get shit for free-kind of guy. Just a bit clueless in the beginning, but he is quite much a 'I got mine, where's yours?' type of person.
@@Blashmack I forget what Ewan's plans were, but if he'd kept on the couch, smoking weed, would have have some of that quater-billion by now?
@@Blashmack he was in senior management program in the first episode just like roman in season 2
@@cardboard2night his grandfather owns some percentage in the waystar and has a seat at the board
I love this scene, because it's the only proof we get in the entire show that Greg is capable of actually doing work.
Nah man he killed it with ATN. He actually had some pretty good intuition.
@@craigweimer6512 he was very good at the wheeling and dealing and ingratiating himself with the top brass, which is most of the battle. But in terms of, "right, today, you will be doing X task", I think this is all we get.
Remember when some teenager smoked weed in his car causing him to lose his job?
1:12 I like how Greg began making a thumbs up to Tom, but realized that it probably wouldn't look good to thumbs up when firing dozens of people, so he tried to save it by rubbing his head. 😂😂
It made me laugh when Tom cried about losing his job later in the episode
I thought they'd reveal he'd been on mute at the end
Same
That would have been perfect 😂
Yes him leaning forward towards the laptop made me think that
This was like a hellish version of Up in the Air
which one is Clooney
@@candysays100 Greg

Surprised no mention of toms hilarious background motions lol. Greg killed me this episode!
Muting the chat responses was the chef’s kiss 👨🏾🍳
Gary was ruthless this episode
You mean Craig
(Zoom camera view of Greg’s goofy face)
“I see there’s some confusion in the chat…”
😂😂😂
Amusing to imagine Logan also being proud of Greg here, and he looks so presentable.
After all those years working for Jaws and you get fired by a guppy.
When you work for giant corporations you can't really be surprised when they treat you like this.
Right like u signed up for this did u really think u could work for a soulless company and get treated with love and care lmfaoo? U can’t play both sides
"Good morning!..........good morning....."
Now i am become Succession, the destroyer of jobs
Note the timing of Greg ending the chat while saying "Nice... and... Done."
Everyone in the chat heard the "Nice..."
Greg has Roy blood. He will make a big play before the series ends
He is the 'Roy' who won by extension of Tom and Ewan has a board seat.
Literally the right person to handle this job; completely clueless.
greg is gregging like a good greglet
It would have been great if the chat said "Greg, you are on mute."
That’s what I figured was gonna happen,
That would’ve been easy.
Tom: Crying eyes hand signals that they're losing their jobs. Shiv coulda done that for him when he was out on the balcony.
I love it when he goes: it’s firing time!
lol Greg says "good morning" to his script
Most chilled firing of all time.
Something very similar to this happened at the company I work at. We had a mandatory company wide “digital event” that was just the CEO confirming that over 2000 people were getting fired.
That "Nice!" at the end fucking KILLS me every time lol
"Goodbye!"
The thumbs up after the first “final day of employment” really got me.
There are so many little gems in this clip.
I just came realize what a great Henchman Greg is. As bumbling as he is Greg only does what is told and that seems to be the only reason why he is still around in the company.
I hope Greg becomes CEO, that would be the funniest ending
Yeah, I am sure thats what the writers are going for. What is the funniest ending
This is like the company I know of on the news during pandemic
Gregory Harsh
Greg had every low level employees' dream rise in power.
that secondary pointed featured goodmorning
“A butcher with a smile”
by the end of the episode Tom had a meltdown at people just joking about him being out at ATN. interesting!
Lord Gregory Hirsch,Grand-sired by Lord Ewing of House Roy from this day forward known as the hatchet of ATN.
"Nice."
lmao. fuckin brutal.
Greg is the living proof/manifestation of "its not about what you know, its about who you know". And Greg knows his uncle... who is a billionaire 😎😂
Sweet baby jeesus!
Cousin Greg truly has become a Roy now.
everyone talking about Kendell being a killer but look at greg That man is a killer.
Wish one of the employees would say "I remember you from Congress ... If it is to be said so it is"
Tom is just chilling on his phone 4 steps away
too doo doo doo-doo, final day of employment
That "makes me cry" was a reference from that Vishal Garg CEO asshole lol
How does anyone watch this show and not want all of the characters to die?
Por que en el fondo muchos aspiran a ser ellos
Because that's just life and business. No need to take everything personal.
Because it's not real
I won't care if they all are left standing or die in some terrible fire.
Lmaooo that’s exactly why I stopped watching. Never seen a show where I dislike every character before
I laughed way too hard at this 😂
One of the best comedy duos in decades
This is the moment greg became judas
Great performance!
Better than some email firing, or finding out you’re fired from someone else after the fact
Too du du du was the funniest part
Vishal Garg moment.
Gregweiler finally appears.
After how Tom acted in this scene how is the viewer supposed to sympathize with him about Mattsson letting him go?
this show is all about feeling emphathetic for terrible people based on the few good qualities in an ocean of bad qualities
I never understood this view point. Even outside of media.
I can sympathize with anyone regardless of how terrible they are. Do people really just see a morally grey person and say "yea fuck him. I want bad stuff to happen to him"
@@ReubenModeXXX did you not at all watch how he acted when greg was reading his script? How are we supposed to give him any compassion when his job is at stake when he clearly has no empathy at all when regular folks are losing their jobs. Just because we have spent 4 seasons with him does not mean he's a good person and I don't see why I should have any compassion for him when he's on the chopping block given how he just acted in this scene.
I honestly don’t think Tom was mocking them. I think he was trying to tell Greg to make it sound more sympathetic
@@ReubenModeXXX Tom is not a morally grey person, he's a huge pos.
Greg, you son of gun, you. Look at YOU :)
1:28 lol

Lol! Tom was being a clown 😂
CEOs need to know how to fire people...
"Obviously I can't take questions on this call" 😆
I've been here, my uncle is a multi billion media tycoon and he made me fire all the janitors in our office over zoom. 😔 My suit was creased
I want to see Greg's evil fully unleashed. I can't decide if he should marry Tom or just beat the crap out of him.
This is the same story as that of Vishal Garg, the CEO who fired employees via Zoom.
Out there somewhere i really believe Uncle Logan is proud of his nephew yep he's a Roy through and through
You don't understand this show or Logan at all if you think that
Still have a hunch Greg will be CEO
Brian Cox mentioned the same during a interview.
Even though this is meant to be a comedic and highly ironic moment, this is HOW I IMAGINE most major companies conduct rounds of mass terminations/layoffs.
Pawn off on some underling with the corporate structure who has JUST ENOUGH POWER to fire people but NOT ENOUGH to tell the people ordering them to go screw themselves.
It'd be something if Greg ends up being the replacement for Tom, given Greg's interaction with Mattson, later in the episode, about the firing.
I love the watch tap
bro that is SUCH a good satire of capitalism with corporate execs, too hilarious
Makes me cry
