What a performance and what a night, Myles is up there with the best of them, lyrically, vocally and musically. Such a humble and grounded front man and as a solo artist alone on stage, but for a couple of songs, it was all about the fans and the music, by all accounts it was a shared experience for the nicest guy in rock and roll and his adoring appreciative fans. One of my all time favourite gigs and what an honour and a privilege to effectively be in the company of and witness not just a talent but a gift, effortlessly shared by the living legend that is Mr Myles Kennedy!!!
Totally agree, stunning performance on every level. I've seen him three times with Slash, first solo gig - this show for me demonstrated that he is not just one of the very best rock vocalists/frontmen of his time, but an artist who can take the stage on his own, relying on the force of his vocal and musical abilities, and his character, to deliver a powerful live performance. Nicely capture video, thanks for sharing this.
Daniel Clemson If I'm really honest I was actually a bit sceptical about the whole acoustic one man show performance. Twice in 6 months I saw Alter Bridge last year and each time the acoustic set mid concerned was amazing and my worry was how is he goin to do this for an hour and a half. How needless my concern turned out to be in fact he could have played for 3 hours and left me and the other 600 fans wanting more. Enjoy every single second of it.....
