I feel like they decided to put this in the set last minute and had a bit of trouble remembering it all lol. Myles seems to be looking at the lyrics on the floor several times and that solo was clearly winged on the spot. Still amazingly good stuff though, and great to hear Myles' lower register again
Mark Tremonti stated to an interviewer that while recording the first album that when he records solos he does multiple takes, all of them are improvised, and he uses his favorite one. This particular solo isn't that complicated and he usually reproduces it pretty well live, but sometimes he just does what he feels like. As an example you can compare this version, to the version he did in Bristol in 2010, to the album version.
@@alessiosammartino7620 For sure. His voice may not be quite as strong as before, but his ability to sing these days blows his young self out of the water haha. Definitely a winning trade off.
This song is so underrated! It's awesome that they still perform it.
Agree mate!
He is so sweet forgetting words all the time. I love that! He's such a trooper just moving on from that and serving the song.
Love this song so much, was a real treat to hear it live that night
I will never forget this day!! I'm actually delighted I got to go in the end because I remember I was quite sick with the flu!!
Myles wow !!!
Os caras arrasam!!
Man, This song is the song!
Amazing!!
A melhor música!!
Perfeito!
Awesome....
Sounds like Mark forgot to re-learn the solo haha
Amazing but wish it was the original solo 😔

unr3al Gaming I recall hearing Mark say he sits down and writes all of his solos and then records them with some improv if he catches it by mistake
Remember watching this song live in 2008 and how he strained his voice out.. practice matters guys
When he was younger his voice was fuller and less nasal, but now his vocal and breath controll is perfect.
