Alter Bridge - Burn It Down (Live) - Columbiahalle, Berlin (11 November 2022)

- My first live show to the Alter Bridge 'Prawns & Wings' Tour in Berlin, Germany. Originally, I wanted to upload songs from the new 'Pawns & Kings' Album but after hearing 'Burn it Down' during soundcheck and knew they would play it live, I wanted to upload this song first as I've never seen Mark sing live personally.
The only disappointing part of the show was that they only played 2 songs from the new album. I did ask Mark if they could sing 'Stay' or 'Last Man Standing'. If anyone does meet Mark or goes to any of the M&G on this tour, please ask for new songs.
PS. Don't worry if you didn't get the 'Prawns & Wings' reference. Those who were there will get it.
The chemistry with this group of ridiculously talented musicians is just another reason Alter Bridge is one of the greatest bands out right now 🤘🏻🤘🏻

Always love seeing mark's face light up with a big smile, out of admiration for Myles, its so wholesome, especially being able to witness it in person.
Met my childhood hero Mark Tremonti after their show in Chicago! Most humble guitarist ever, fist bumped me and gave me his signed guitar pick, these guys sound clean yet punchy on stage and musicianship at highest level. They are the next Metallica in terms of the musical impact.
Mark and Myles bring out the best in each other. Great friends and collaborators.
The comradery they have for each other is palpable. So talented!

I worked security for them in 2014 and got to meet them and Scott Phillips (my fav drummer) Signed a Zildjian 18" Z Custom for me. They don't even make Z custom anymore and Scott Phillips signed it. SOOO COOL! Scott Phillips is my guy! 😁😄
I've got to know few of the security guys in the last few AB/Tremonti tours. Not seen them on this tour. They are all great guys in the band.

Hell yes. I love this! They are both beyond capable to take each other's place. I've been wanting this since Last Hero came out. I think they picked the perfect song to make it happen ❤

Theres a solo at the end of the original too. And while the one Myles plays here isnt bad, it just doesnt feel the same.

Love this performance! Mark’s vocal tone is so nice; but there were points of the song I was sure missing the highs and emotion that Myles achieves with his voice. Nevertheless, great job here as a rest/break for Myles in a non-traditional song for Mark to sing👍
(Side note: they sure look like they really like and appreciate each other-which is awesome to see)

Love mark singing this song and I think he does a really good job adding emotion into the bridge where he can belt (love it), but I was also was missing myles' nuances and how he portrays emotion throughout the whole song and I can't help sing myles's extras and nuances. Still incredible, I just listen to a live version, of each of them singing the song, one after the other and I get the best of both worlds.

Was hoping they'd keep this in the set but they dropped it for Glasgow, never been more gutted! I'm an 7 time AB vet now and we need these kinda gems to make it worth still coming out...
At least you got to hear 'Shed My Skin'. I haven't heard that. I see they only played 15 songs due to timing.
The only disappointing part about this tour is that they haven't added more of the newer songs (just 4, I believe). I wanted Stay and Last Man Standing on the setlist. Burn It Down being sung by Mark is a gem.
Still not to late for you to visit Manchester, Birmingham or London for Burn It Down.
