Everything Everywhere All At Once made me cry in the theater. If you've seen it, you probably get it. I tell my friends that there's more than a little Love, Simon hiding in this one. Oh. And congrats on getting involved in wrestling, SEW. That was a fantastic speech.
I just saw it for the first time, so happy they put it out in theaters again. I laughed so much. It's crazy how many tones this film can nail. It has tons of comedy, tons of emotion, existential dread, and even a couple of scenes around a certain character and her introduction that were near horror in tone. I LOVED the cute little intro from DANIELS at the beginning. I honestly thought that they were just gonna leave us on a blank screen for ten minutes and that THAT was gonna be the extra footage I had heard about. Lol. This has nothing to do with anything but I am SUPER JEALOUS of that one Daniels Pokemon shirt. It was so dope, lol.
For me the last 30 minutes were just a nonstop cycle of laughing and crying.

I’m so glad other people are appreciating Citizen Sleeper. I was so deeply immersed, so surprisingly quickly, that simply securing a stable way of life in its world was one of my most fond memories of summer.
Citizen sleeper is so good! Mechanics are somewhat simple, but help you get into the atmosphere of a low-rank citizen trying to make ends meet in a cyberpunk dystopia, and the characters are SO good. The mushroom cook and the bartender were some of my favourites, as well as Lem and Mina, obviously. Just stellar stuff, I'm surprised the game is not more well known.
I have cried to this game so many times now that I need more. I already got into Teenage Exocolonist and cried my eyes out there, so if you've got any other sci-fi dystopian indie games to make me cry, it would be greatly appreciated.

I absolutely agree with your opinion on everything, everywhere, all at once! The movie was seriously beautiful and even as I couldn't rlly react the first time I watched it, I really wanna watch it again and feel it all. The reason why it's so good is because of its balance on comedy and sincerity, it never really tiptoes it but it just does happen. It's like that feeling where you reconnect with someone who left your life for quite a while and all the emotions and memories clashing together in a wonderfully nihilistic, hopeful, and genuinely confusing mess of a movie.
Just saw it for the first time in theaters, if you are interested in seeing it I would hurry up. According to the cinema near me they are ending showings by next weekend. AND, I guess since it is a rerelease?, The ticket was only 5 dollars! I'm sure not all theatres are doing that but they called it a "Fan Favorite" sort of implying they would be doing other rereleased and cheap tickets in the future, which has me HYPED!

whenever I talk about Everything Everywhere all at Once its so hard not to say the title of the movie when describing how I felt about the movie, that movie really does do everything, go everywhere, all at once. I will never forget this beautiful movie.
Everyone, Everywhere, All at Once was a masterpiece. My brother and I managed to catch a showing in theaters a couple days ago and we went in knowing literally nothing about it, and that movie's title was extremely accurate in describing why, where, and when my emotions were going throughout. If you have a theater near you, you owe it to yourself to see it there(It's not entirely necessary to see it in a theater, but one part is kinda meant to be experienced in a theater)! Don't know anything about the movie except what is in this video? Perfect! You have the perfect mindset for this experience!

You've never been in his pants have you? It's very surreal. Death note, made in abyss, a manga I can't remember but I swear I read 3 different versions exactly the same but slightly different... I should hunt those down some day to figure out if it was just different scans or literally remakes/reboots
If I had a dollar for every time a RUclipsr I watch that discusses media started portraying a wrestling heel, I'd have two dollars, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it's happened twice. Especially since I don't even watch wrestling!

There is a great book called Say Goodnight to insomnia. It’s best advice for me was to count hours of sleep from when my head hit the pillow, not when you “fall asleep”. You have multiple states of sleep and lying down and resting counts.
Paradoxical Insomnia is also a thing, you are aware of what is going on and being asleep at the same time.
So happy to see you highlight the animations of Vewn! I've loved her art for years. My favorite of her animated shorts is "Dead End" about a depressed high schooler and his equally depressed therapist.

You should check out the Let’s Fight a Boss podcast! Eyepatch Wolf has such good tastes because he’s smart and passionate but he’s also surrounded by friends that are just as smart and connected and into weird and cool stuff you’ve never heard of as him!

Everything everywhere all at once got me with "This is how i fight", I literally died in that moment.
Also the soundtrack is incredible. Just listent to it, its like every second is the most important moment of your life.
I love your mention of Everything Everywhere All At Once, since it has been an in-joke between me and my boyfriend for months that we would still love each other in the hotdog finger universe. We also come up with other weird universes that could exist.
I think this movie still isn't getting the kind of credit it deserves. It is literally the best multiverse media that exists right now. Moving, inventive, bizarre and wholesome. It is one of those things that can have you laughing about the ludicrousness one second and tearing up the next as it says something especially poignant. Also the one time a rock can make you cry and laugh that hard.
It's by far one of the most overhyped and famous movies by mainstream appeal in the last 20 years and is essentially the poster boy/girl for the casual movie enjoyers.
Can't get any more credit than that, the movie is objectively huge in every part of the world.

I think it’s a show of highs and lows. The pacing is bad at times, but the highs are so damn high! But it does have problems and I think it’s worth it to have people’s exceptions set reasonably.

CITIZEN SLEEPER IS SO GOOD AND EVERYONE SHOULD PLAY IT.
It's got Fallen London vibes, so definitely play it if you like that. It's also got just enough challenge to feel like you've accomplished things at the endings

There's something very powerful and emotional about all pf her works, Twins in Paradise is my favorite but I can't watch it because it hits so close to home for me that it kind of broke me the first time I saw it. Even with my own personal baggage, I think it takes a really skilled storyteller to be able to do that

Everything Everywhere All At Once wears the disguise of a shitpost, but is actually one of the most staggeringly sincere movies I've ever seen.
Those clips of the FTR/Briscoes match have me shades of the Revival/DIY 2/3 Falls match from NXT Takeover Toronto in 2017. This is a good thing, because that match made me so happy at the time and is still the match I think of when I think of tag team wrestling, so hearing that they've only upped their game gives me joy.
I'm glad this branched out to include so much more than anime. Lotta good finds I otherwise wouldn't have seen in stuff like this.

You know, every time Super Eyepatch Wolf updates, my day gets brighter. But I never ever actually watch the video when it updates. I actually wait on it until I'm in a low and need something to pick me back up again. Today is that day for this video, and I am grateful for the dose of joy it gave me. The drawback, however, is when I checked out the link for the figure and saw it's already sold out.
Just hearing such a passionate recommendation of Everything Everywhere All At Once made me tear up, literally and honestly. It is such a great film, and I hope the appreciation of those who love it reaches everyone involved in making it because fuck me, it's the most heartfelt creative endeavour I've witnessed so far.

Yo man, Boomer here , spent a ton of time in my life keeping up with all the latest new games and shows/ anime and somehow over the past couple of years have really lost faith / started blocking out anything new/ got lost in old retro games and playing Doom II maps/ all the junk on netfix / streams and reaction culture YT videos/ and the pay to win trash games and the giant slump media / entertainment has been in over the past few years really started getting me to just STOP LOOKING.. and this video sort of re sparked an interest in some "new" things out there and I look forward to checking out most of what is covered here for myself. Thanks for waking up an old boomer to what the kids are up to these days.

I fell in love with Isekai Ojisan's anime and went on to read the entire manga in one day. It's really fun and you're smiling in almost every chapter, I just feel it missed an opportunity with its core premise. The Maou-sama-like reverse isekai slice of life eventually takes a hard backseat to uncle just telling his outworlder story day by day. Again, don't get me wrong, it's still really fun, the fantasy characters are cool and the jokes land most of the time, I just wanted to see more of "old man with RPG powers tries to navigate life after 17 years in a coma".

For anyone who likes Everything Everywhere All At Once, I recommend checking out more of the movies produced by A24. They’re not all winners, but they’ve consistently put out some of the best movies of the last decade or so. Some highlights include The Florida Project, A Ghost Story, First Reformed, Lady Bird, Eighth Grade, and Moonlight.

I'm actually really excited by a preview I saw in my screening of EEAAO: Bodies, Bodies, Bodies Seriously, I am shocked I haven't seen this plot before, closest I can recall is CLUE: The Movie. Basically, these rich kids all get together for a drug hangout/party and right as a storm hits they decide to play a version of werewolf/secret hitman/Among Us, a version they call Bodies, Bodies, Bodies. And that's when the power goes out and somebody actually gets murdered. And then they gotta figure it out. The film looks super fun, I can't wait. Still need to see their version of Hamlet though.
A24 is synonym of quality and experimentation, of course, not all of their productions are home-runs but they are getting there.

Everything Everywhere All at Once is literally my favorite movie of all time. It was unreal. The only non superhero movie I’ve ever seen more than once in theater. Yes yes everything everywhere! I just watched it with parents in their 70s and they absolutely loved it. Then I watched it with my partner and we had hours of conversation afterwards full of personal revelations and tears and hope, along with the terror that accompanies hope. It is absolutely one of my favorite movies of all time and I cannot say enough good about it. Thank you for this list and thank you for calling attention to this beautiful art!

I saw Dead End years ago and it's been living in the back of my mind for a while but I could not for the life of me remember either the animator or the video so it's been weighing on me recently, like, really recently, I wanted to watch it last week after remembering it and struggled to come up with anything but empty hands.
