I knew it was gonna happen. It's been the same story since 2004 whenever we get involved in a title race. The collapse just happened later than I expected.
Still, I enjoyed the ride as it was happening. And the season overall was still an improvement. I can only hope they continue in this direction
Regardless of how this season ends, I believe Arsenal are headed in the right direction. I think the dark days are behind them and there’s a lot to be optimistic about for their supporters. They’ve certainly made this season much more exciting, it’s nice to see an actual title race in the Premier League rather than previous years where City have it wrapped up by the end of March

as a napoli fan this video honestly reminds me of the many many times we've placed second in serie a. Both teams were missing a league title for decades and many times we thought we could win it only to lose in the last games of the season. luckily this season we built up a huge lead and won it comfortably. Hope arsenal can do the same soon.
Man I remember my hopes crushed in 2017-18. That is why I never thought that the title was won when we had “just” a +12 gap back in January, and I only got comfortable with the idea we were winning in April. I just had vietnam flashbacks each time I thought of a league lead.
But at the same time I think our story tells that if you try and try again, consistently, every year, eventually you will succeed
@@obitodmg5694 yea thats true which is why if arsenal continues like this i do think they will eventually win one. With good scouting and good management you can really make a strong team and eventually you can get the right year. For napoli this year i think while yes in January it was not over but there were many teams constantly dropping points and it looked like it would most definitely go to napoli. We never really had a challenger for tbe title after the world cup.

We have a anomaly in the Premier League. And the anomaly is Pep Guardiola. Just check the points tally that Liverpool needs to keep the title charge and, ultimately, win. That campaing wins almost every season before Pep.

It is rather disappointing that Arsenal choked in the last stretch of the league. However, given how the team performed the past few seasons, this potential 2nd place finish is huge. It will serve to make the young team hungrier for a title OR we could lose all our stars like in past seasons...
As a Liverpool fan I can relate.
But Arteta made a great progress and being able to get in Champions League. Which helps can help them made their squad stronger. With right transfers, younger players getting more experience and Artetas tactics I can see Arsenal has good chances to try it again next year
