I came across your channel through your video of the Mary Newcomb book, as I was looking to see if I wanted to buy a copy of my own (and I do!) What a pleasure to be introduced to your lovely channel and your art. Watching your videos feels like spending a special day in the studio alongside a dear and very talented friend. I predict great success for your channel in the future! Now I’m off to watch more of your inspiring videos.
Thank you so much for the lovely comment! Your words mean a lot to me! I really hope you enjoy the book about Mary Newcomb. I've found it very inspiring.. Thanks again x
khadi will take a lot if you allow water applications to dry off a bit before going in with acrylic ink. I put cardboard on the soft covers (recycled packaging) so that I can take my books outside and work plein air. You can get really interesting marks with high pigment soft pastels using isopropyl alcohol (best done outside, it whiffs a bit)

Thank you so much for sharing these tips. They're fab and I'll definitely try the isopropyl alcohol!
