    I can never use gesso, I can’t find it in the art supply store, and I don’t know what its called in swedish, but I might try to buy online later from UK

      @@KateLouiseArtist I found online but it cost almost 50£ so I didn’t buy. I shall try later again

      @@MsCaleb79 it is very easy to make gesso - you can find lots of recipes online. There's no need to pay a lot for the expensive brands. Basically it is just white emulsion (like you would paint on the interior of your house) mixed with talcum powder/chalk powder of some sort. Hope that helps.

      I believe you are looking for in Swedish is called grund. Really Gesso is just a water based primer. You can get the grund from any hardware store. And it’s much much cheaper this way. You can also just buy cheap white acrylic paint and mix it 2 parts to 1 part water and put it down on any surface you want to paint on and you have acrylic gesso.

      @@rachelsmith7462it’s just white acrylic paint and water…or water based house paint and water, no chalk.
