Me and a friend have been struggling to read a pattern she wanted to try out, I'm definitely sending this video to her!
Even though I've been crocheting for years it's always good to have a chart on hand. Thanks Elise!
You are so welcome!! ❤️
Hi there! I've been definitely relying on youtube for doing blankets and washcloths, but want to expand to other things. My son and daughter in law just got me a cute kit to make a tiny Harry potter and the little elf Dobby. Nervous and excited, but I know I can do it. I know many stitches after learning a few years ago, so this is doable. Thank you for your helpful video!
That's great!! Good luck with your amigurumi pattern!!! ❤️❤️❤️
I have been crocheting since I was 12 years old (im 37) but I couldn't understand how to read a pattern,im only able to see others and copy but not able to read a book haha..thank you so much 💓 I feel relief 😊 haha
I'm so glad you found the video helpful!! And a whole new world opens up when you can read patterns!
I am just starting crochet and this was so helpful to understand the patterns! Heading right over to your blog! Thank you!
I'm so very glad you found it helpful!! Good luck in your new endeavor! 🧶🧶🧶
Hi, I just found ya and already feel like you are the one to help me. I'm focusing on reading patterns and trying to wean myself off videos to do a project. Its really hindering me. thanks
Once you get the hang of it, it will become like second nature!! ❤️
Thank you for explaining sometimes it may be confusing but now I understand 🙂
Oh great!! I'm so glad!! 🧶🧶🧶
I have been making a lot of amigurumi and usually don't have a problem. I bought pica pau had to stop on first pattern. Did not understand it. I looove amigurumi. Thank you for this pattern
You're so welcome! Good luck with your amigurumi!! ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you.
I am an absolute beginner.
Maybe this would be a good source after I understand the basics first.
Wonderful! It will be a good thing to earn after you get the basics!! Good luck! 🧶🧶🧶
Thank you. That was so helpful
You made my life easier
I’m glad I found this video because I got a “beginners” crochet kit and let me tell ya it’s definitely not beginner friendly
I'm so glad it helped! 🧶🧶🧶

@@EliseRoseCrochet I don't know why I waited so long 🤣🤣😘
Sorry to be so off topic but does any of you know a trick to get back into an Instagram account..?
I was stupid forgot the password. I would love any tips you can give me
@Jaiden Salvatore instablaster :)
@Payton Greyson i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and im in the hacking process atm.
Seems to take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
Hi Elise! I realize this is an older video, but I have a question. At 52 seconds in the video, there is a really cute fox and wolf plush. How do you design the face markings? I have thought about using a graph, but can use that for a 3D object, or only flat C2C types projects?
Hi, thank you for all your videos! Is there an updated video on reading a crochet pattern? This is very blurry 😊
I'm sorry about that! I haven't updated this video! ❤️
Thank you for just replying back. 😊
I really do love your videos. May God continue to bless your hands

Thank you
You're very welcome! ❤️
I'm just getting started on this pattern and I am so confused with starting out the snout. The first round is just really confusing me. Do you have any tips on how to get past this part? It is not looking right to me.
Hello! Yes! That part can be confusing! Here's a video for how to do that: ruclips.net/video/zGQ6KB2nVvA/видео.html Hope that helps!! 💓
@@EliseRoseCrochet thank you so much!
Trying to make a mouse for my granddaughter but don't understand the directions. What does it mean when it says 4.1 or other fraction type directions?
Wish I could help, I've never seen a pattern like that! 🐭
My sister in law helped. She said it was just another row not fractions. Wasn't used to the way they wrote it up. Guess I had a Senior moment. Lol. Thanks for getting back to me!
Hi, Do you have a video on how to read an amigurumi pattern for knitting. I make crochet amigurumi's and can read and understand those patterns but I get confused on the knitting patterns.
I don't have one about knitting patterns specifically. The good news is if you can read a crochet pattern, it won't be too hard to do a knitting one. I would just take it slow and "translate" the pattern like I talked about in this video. I hope that helps! ❤️
Thank u 🌹🌹
You're very welcome! ❤😊❤😊
When it says : (1 sc, inc) 6 times (18)
Should I do 6 rows of 18 stitches or?
No, it means that you repeat 1sc, inc - 6 times, which you then end up with 18 stitches. I hope that makes sense.
@@EliseRoseCrochet ah, ok. Thank you! I will now crochet myself a snake 😅
hi, i wonder if you can help me, i ordered a book and the pattern i am following says, make magic ring, don not join ? , then chn 5 turn, skip sl st, ?confused dot com.
round one, right side, magic ring, do not join,
round 2, working in back loops only, 2 sc around. (12)sl st in back loop of next st.
round 3, chn 5, turn, skip sl st, working around spiral (rnd 2, and 1) in back loops only, ( sl st in next sc, chn 5 ) around ending with sl st in last sc.
any help would be lovely. thank you julie. x
Oh goodness! That does sound a bit confusing. I honestly don't understand the part about skipping the sl st. I've never done a pattern where you don't join the magic ring. Wish I could be more of a help!!
I really wish your video helped me!!!! I'm doing a project out a book that I just bought, and I had to stop because the directions make no sense whatsoever once I got to the first dec 😩. Now I've wasted 20.00 on a book that I cannot use and no way at all to contact the author 😡. I'm on the verge of just pulling everything I've done apart and throwing the book away. Extremely disappointed in the book even though the animals are so adorable.
Maybe you can sell it?? 🧶🧶🧶
❤️
😘😘😘
I get confused when it says chain 2 then 8sc from the 2nd chain...if there's only 2 that's what throws me off oh my lanta 🙄
Sounds like the pattern is having you beginning crocheting in the round, but not with a magic ring. It's an alternative method for those who don't like doing the magic ring. Hope you were able to figure it out! 💓
Thank you but the music is abit annoying when trying to listen to you 😢
Thanks for the feedback! ❤
video starts at 3:40 😫
So sorry. This was one of my earlier videos and I didn't know how to get to the point quickly!! 😂😂😂
