    Hi there! I've been definitely relying on youtube for doing blankets and washcloths, but want to expand to other things. My son and daughter in law just got me a cute kit to make a tiny Harry potter and the little elf Dobby. Nervous and excited, but I know I can do it. I know many stitches after learning a few years ago, so this is doable. Thank you for your helpful video!

    Hi Elise! I realize this is an older video, but I have a question. At 52 seconds in the video, there is a really cute fox and wolf plush. How do you design the face markings? I have thought about using a graph, but can use that for a 3D object, or only flat C2C types projects?

    Hi, Do you have a video on how to read an amigurumi pattern for knitting. I make crochet amigurumi's and can read and understand those patterns but I get confused on the knitting patterns.

    • @EliseRoseCrochet
      @EliseRoseCrochet  3 года назад +1

      I don't have one about knitting patterns specifically. The good news is if you can read a crochet pattern, it won't be too hard to do a knitting one. I would just take it slow and "translate" the pattern like I talked about in this video. I hope that helps! ❤️

    When it says : (1 sc, inc) 6 times (18)
    Should I do 6 rows of 18 stitches or?

    • @EliseRoseCrochet
      @EliseRoseCrochet  3 года назад +1

      No, it means that you repeat 1sc, inc - 6 times, which you then end up with 18 stitches. I hope that makes sense.

      Oh goodness! That does sound a bit confusing. I honestly don't understand the part about skipping the sl st. I've never done a pattern where you don't join the magic ring. Wish I could be more of a help!!

    I really wish your video helped me!!!! I'm doing a project out a book that I just bought, and I had to stop because the directions make no sense whatsoever once I got to the first dec 😩. Now I've wasted 20.00 on a book that I cannot use and no way at all to contact the author 😡. I'm on the verge of just pulling everything I've done apart and throwing the book away. Extremely disappointed in the book even though the animals are so adorable.

    • @EliseRoseCrochet

      Sounds like the pattern is having you beginning crocheting in the round, but not with a magic ring. It's an alternative method for those who don't like doing the magic ring. Hope you were able to figure it out! 💓
