I'm play the drums about 15 years now.. Its a 7:54 long song. At 5:05 she kicks off Full blast. It's a 2-3 , 1-4 , 1-6 beat. Butt at full speed , full power. Look how hard she smash those Cymbals. 😂 Im 37 now, I can tell. You need a damn good condition, to pop such a fast, powerfull drum peformance and still be able to sing afterwards.. This is beyond me. Bravo, Respect for her talent ❤❤❤ wow

@@TheR971 this sucks :/ it also happened to me, so since then when a band i don't know is playing near me i check them out, only some songs to see if i really like them. then if i do, i support them by going to see them live :) you can try this out, it worked fine for me and also discovered great bands out there

I often heard their name come up on Belgian radio, but I never paid much attention to them until I randomly heard "War" today when I was driving home from work. Then I found this song and needless to say, I'm really kicking myself now for missing out on this gig. Goddamn.
it could not be differrent, i sing since i was 11 years old at the church, see i am 41 now, and passed trouhg trash metal, funk, nu metal, metal core, hardtech, stuff like, but now after i guess by the strenght of the hall entire performance lights, chords, interpretativo, emotion, tempo, adagio allegreto, so simple so many things, band of the year, and if you are near, dont miss it, i Will be back in Europe to see them alive, its gonna take time, only thing i hope them to be existing, i like Julia II and Cemetery from Brutus, all the songs are perfect! This came up in my recommendations...don’t remember liking a band for the first time from a live show...holy shit! How did i not know this band is on the same label as Chelsea Wolfe, Emma Ruth Rundle & Marriages???
The entire Sargent House roster is outstanding and well worth your time. IMO of course.
Because a band playing live is the ultimate test of their talent - trust your instinct from this performance.
As for me, this is the second track I've listened to, and I've been instantly addicted to the voice + atmosphere combination that feels so much like a soundtrack to the apocalypse...

I dont know what it is, but the chord progression in the intros make me feel something I can't describe, like I miss something but I can't remember what it is. What a song.
This all day. I scrolled through the comments to see if it hit anyone else like this so I'm glad to see I'm not alone. There's a guy by the name of Tycho that has this same effect. Specifically his tracks 'Hours' and 'Ascension'. If anyone knows what the psychological explanation for this is, please feel free to pass it along.

@@baileybonesy Starting on a major chord (Here it's E flat major ) then going up two tones above to a minor chord (G minor) always has a melodramatic effect.
You ascend tone wise on the guitar but you seem to descend mood wise. That specific music interval produces a paradoxal feeling giving you goosebumps.
I discovered them a few days ago and I have had this song on repeat ever since. I'm loving it.

Usually drummers get “put in the back” so to speak. I find when a band has a particularly great drummer or a singing drummer, putting them in a more visible spot enhances the performance. The post-hardcore band Nomeansno did something similar.
