It's so pretty! I was thinking of knitting a shrug like this but I'm very new to knitting and all I can make so far is a rectangle, so I didn't know the technique for making something like this. Fortunately now it's all cleared up
This middle aged lady loves the things you make! It's so pretty! I also wanted to know what kind of needle set you use? the needles you use look amazing. I also love the yarn. You are such an inspiration. Take care my friend.
Oh thank you so much! I'm glad you love them! I got the interchangeable needles from Aliexpress but I saw them on ebay/amazon too. It's a set, comes with multiple sizes. It's so much more affordable than buying different sizes separately.
Great tutorial! I've done many crochet versions, but are eager to try this knit version. I'm wondering if, to do the sleeves, I could use my 9" circulars, and do the sleeves in the round, to avoid having to sew up the sleeves?
OMG I love this and so far yours is the only knit I have found…most been just crochet. I would like to ask…I want to make bell sleeves …can this be achieved using your pattern?
I didn't do increase/decrease around the sleeves so it's not technically bell, but I think adding 1 row at the end using a thick yarn gives the bell sleeves illusion 😊
Currently making this. In your vid, it looks like the front panel has less rows than the back. Am I correct in that? The front panel is 6 rows shorter than the back?
Ive got a question, there was a part after casting off that we cut out the thread how are u expecting us to knit after cutting out the thread i am very confused
Work more stitches for a wider panel and more rows for bigger armholes. I can’t give you exact numbers cuz you very likely have a different gauge. You’ll need to make a swatch to know your gauge. Also, you can use your exact measurements (chest measurement, arm circumference near the shoulder) for this since this is a snug fit. The ones you can find online will probably make this too big. I hope my explanation is understandable ☺️
@@CherilynQ Thank you for this reply!! I was just coming to the comments to ask what measurements to use if we want to make this for someone who doesn't live nearby. It's a beautiful shrug and pattern, thank you for sharing it!! ❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥
Thank you for this! I usually crochet but I had a very specific pattern and vision in mind which I wanted to make into a shrug so this is perfect!
You are so welcome! 🥰

Does it matter how many sts i cast on - im a newbie at this and youre video the first tutorial or pattern im following ❤
Hii yes, it will determine the width, both of the panel and of the sleeve.

Hello!! Did you block the shrug in the end? I’m currently working on it and I’m really excited to finish it! Thank you 🤞
Hi! I didn't need to block it 😊
making this now! thank you
Have fun! 🤗
Is there a written pattern for this shrug?
loveee this! did you do any increases in the sleeve or leave the same # of stitches?
Pretty sure no increase nah 😊
Thank you so much ❤
You're welcome 😊

They have the same row count. The front has a neck shaping though. That's probably what you're thinking about.
Hi luv Do I have to use the circle needles?
Hi! Straight needles works too because everything’s worked flat
Ive got a question, there was a part after casting off that we cut out the thread how are u expecting us to knit after cutting out the thread i am very confused
Looks amazing!! How much yarn did you use??
Thanks! I used 105 g yarn.
Do you have a written pattern for this? I’m having a hard time understanding how long to make the back panel before doing the neck line
Sorry I don't have a written pattern for this 😔
@@CherilynQ can you explain how long I’m supposed to make the back panel before I cast off? I don’t think I understood that part
Did u use all the yarn?
Its soo cute thank uu
Welcome 😊
Aayuhh! My brain hurts!😵😵💫
Hi cherilyn how are you doing today iam doing fine today thank you for sharing your design stay safe 🎉❤😂
Thank you! You too!
Can I use straight needles?
Yes, you can use straight needles to work flat.
Thanks❤️
hii can i use any size knitting needles i have a bit skinner ones than that
yeah, you can, but the stitches will be a bit tighter.
Hi do you have a written pattern for a pre-teen?
Hi! sorry I don't have a written pattern for this project.
How can I make a size L in this x
