Lauren Weise It's trying to be. There was a concert that was supposed to be a script reading of a potential stage adaptation, but the cast turned out to also be super white and a lot of people (including me) were really pissed about it. They didn't know what to do with all the attention they were getting, so they canceled the concert. I really want to see them do it right someday and I hope they keep trying.

This video makes me crack up laughing every time I watch it. They're both like "Oh, this is awkward" while being made to sing the songs, but you can see that they're actually enjoying it, and Adam looks so proud of Arielle the entire time that they're singing.

There is nothing more fun about performing than having the opportunity to do it with your sibling, and I have NEVER seen a better pair at it than these two. They're both incredibly talented, they share an awesome sense of humor, you can tell they love sharing the stage together, and the looks on their faces just radiate love for and pride in each other. That was a blessing to watch.

The thing that always cracks me up about this is that they make it seem so awkward when its totally not?! Like I get they're playing up the awkwardness of ever having to act out those scenes with a sibling, but as someone who grew up in a family of musical lovers, I have no doubt they sang all the good duets together their whole lives! In our house it was just a matter of fighting over who'd play a lead vs. who sang the chorus.
