A big thanks to everybody who downloaded #SoulMates. I'm pleased to share the official video with you. I hope you like it & Spread the word! Cheers Grant...
Grant this is great, you will never stop impressing me with your songwriting. Please keep this up, you're my favorite musician, and you will always be. Cheers Sergio Novella Fletcher :)
Are there any rocky songs in your new album? I would like to hear some tunes such as the bridge of Can't Stand Losing You 2001 Feeder Cover. In my opinion Soul Mates is a little bit light song but nice to hear. I would like to hear a breathtaking GN e-guitar solo in one of the new songs too. Your rock style is well balanced. Not too heavy, not too poppy and not too punky. This is one of the main reasons why I'm fond of your music. Just a Day has been my favourite song for 12 years (I'm 19). It's an energetic song that helped me in hard moments of my life (along with We Can't Rewind). Please please please don't become a poppy musician. 2 years ago in a gig you said Buck Rogers was a pop song. I worried about that... I hope the rocky Grant Nicholas who amazed me a decade ago come back to the stages...
***** Buck Rogers is a pop song, and Feeder have always been a pop band - that's one of the things that makes them great. Pop isn't just crappy and annoying. It's good that Just A Day helped you through a tough time. :)
TheAlexH I have always thought Feeder was a rock band. It's true they have pop albums like Comfort in Sound and Pushing The Senses, but in general Feeder songs are closer to rock range rather than pop range style. Anyway I'm glad that Grant has not distorted his voice in the song. Grant's voice still can amaze us.
Grant, you never cease to make my senses come alive with the songs you write. Your music is the soundtrack to my life and I will be forever grateful for such a blessing. This song is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever had the pleasure of listening to. The part that slingshots me into ecstasy is at 2.51, such a heart felt voice with the keyboard effect. Thank you for inspiring me Aaron
good for you! but a 21 older long time fan makes me smile :) i'm 34 now and i clear remember first time i listen to feeder's music, back in '97...time runs so fast...
Your music is wonderful and unique. The first I heard was "seven days in the sun" when I was thirteen, now I am 22. Thank you for your art Grant, greetings from Spain / Mallorca
I have been listening to Yorktown Heights since I bought it on iTunes. After hearing Soul Mates, Safe in Place, and Time Stood Still then hearing the album I wasn't sure what to think at first. But then after a few more listens, in car and on headphones I began to appreciate it. Then I listened to the Treehouse demos afterwards with a musician friend (my dad) and it was such a treat to hear the ideas and core behind those tracks. Then we listened to it all and as usual a pleasure in lyrics and sound. It's so rare to hear someone who lives for the art and has something genuine to say.
Beautiful song Grant, I'm sure whatever kind of sound, heavy rock or more chilled rock it will be amazing. Also thanks for playing Shade for me and my brother at feeders last gig at brixton.
Quite stunning Grant. Have been a fan of Feeder since the '90's, I'd always considered you a great singer/songwriter. Now you have moved to another level. Congratulations! The words, melody and riff are bloody heavenly. Best of luck with the album
Wonderful! I've been following Feeder for over ten years and this was a very pleasant surprise which I only found out about this week. After hearing this lovely song I bought the album. It has wonderful songs that grow the more I listen to them. Thanks Grant. Cheers and all the best.
I have been loving feeder since I was 15, now Im 21 n I love feeder even more, now that i see that you Grant are working by yourself I fell nostalgic for feeder but I really wish the best for you. The very BEST LUCK for you Grant, I loved Feeder music N I LOVE your music now, continue being like that Grant, you are BIG very VERY BIG!!
Gorgeous! I've been a big fan of Feeder since about 2004. I'm looking forward to your solo album soon! This track just makes me feel so relaxed and calm. Love it.

i get the feeling that this album would sound amazing with the backdrop of the minack theatre (ampitheatre cut into the granite cliff set by the sea) in cornwall grant....come and do a gig!!!!
Oh by all that is holy this is good. for about 14 years iv'e been listening to your music @Grant Nicholas and i still love it and are looking forward for any upcoming music by either you or Feeder. Love from Gothenburg Sweden.
i have followed feeder since the start and am xcited by every album especially this one. i appreciate every song and by the 40 track bside albums i think that grant nicholas has actually written some of the best rock songs ever, suffocate, descend, everything
Here we go again my old friend Here we go again my old friend Here we go again my old friend We can set our sail Into the sun Set our sail For better shores For new shoresdestiny my old friend & now that
It would be awesome to have your new album on vinyl, i hope you can make it , last feeder album Generation Freakshow was a really good album, one of Feeder's best in years.!!
Its all about Polythene for me. This is ok (I like the lyrics) but I struggle to see this as the same man who was jumping around in the Cement video and shouting his way through Two Colours.
"I have also been writing some new Feeder material and look forward to getting back together with Taka after our hiatus to work on other projects. Feeder's heart still beats strong." From a promo e-mail I received.
Criminally underrated. How does all the mass-produced crap in the charts get airplay instead of this? Just how?
i agree, this deserves so much more. its real heartfelt music, and most people are truely missing out
