Michael Jackson is so amazing in every way. I couldn't take my eyes off him. He is like a magnet to my eyes. I zero in on him and concentrate on his every slightest move and facial expressions.
@Ana Maria yeah wow but everyone says I'm basically a reincarnation of someone from the seventies because I have lots of CDs and I have a boom box and I never listen to music on my phone haha
It was interesting to note and I interview Donny Osmond he and Michael Jackson still kept in touch throughout the years. I'm going to God that they really have a lot in common

I vividly remember watching this live as a 10 yo and being mad that “the Temps” weren’t there live to accept the award. They were arguably America’s #1 group at the time
@@daffyduckfan4478 You have to remember that there weren’t any music videos at that time, The only way you saw your favorite R&B groups were award shows.and occasionally a talk show. Back then you listened to the radio a lot just to hear new music. Award shows were very popular then because you could see your favorite artists live
Michael could've done so well in Hollywood movies besides singing. You know what I'm saying. Look how he was acting so seriously while presenting the award. The other boy was just laughing.
Donny was laughing because he was embarrassed, that's just how he deals with being embarrassed. Those lines that they had to recite before saying the nominations were pretty cringy.
This was the award that Otis says stopped their song "Heavenly" being a hit. The man who accepted the award only credited Dick Clark and not the radio disc jockeys that were pushing Tempts records. The jocks punished them by ignoring their next couple of releases.
Yep. I think "Heavenly" and "You got my soul on fire" were both cooled off because of Abner's snub. Both hit #8 on the R&B charts, but we're 43 and 74 on Pop.
So sad when Michael went from famous (a legend) to a failed marriage, messed up family, and ultimately financial disaster and a social life to match. Donny went from famous to a life long stable marriage, good family, and awesome stable career. Donny loved Michael and always spoke good of him, even today he said his intentions were always good, but good ole hollywood/entertainment industry took advantage of him. I am sure Michael is singing his heart out in heaven, and heaven is better for it.
very true but it was all out of Michael's hands (the media lying on his name, the way people treated him despite him being treated like a walking deity) and throughout his life he got the most support from his fans who would do anything for him - and his legacy lives far long, forever. but of course i agree w u , and i agree with your part about MJ in heaven. ❤️
