What is particularly touching is the way the families seemed to enjoy such warm camaraderie with each other. They seemed to know and accept one another with no apparent grudges between them. That is an honor in itself.

I would like to have had Otis Williams go to Europe and talk to The Boy Bands/Girl Groups and talk to them about how "Cruel" This Business can be. When you are the "Sole" Surviving Member of one of The Greatest Male Vocal Groups of all time, you know that God was protecting you and to outlive so many fellow Artists, is nothing short of a Miracle.

Seeing and hearing the family members really touches my heart.
I saw The Temptations at the RKO Proctors Theater in Newark, NJ...in 1966. I was 15 years old. It changed my life forever.
Seeing them perform... helped me to understand what EXCELLENCE is.

They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, in 1989, while David, Eddie, and Melvin were still alive. Some outstanding pop, R&B groups, and performers still have yet to be recognized and inducted into that association. Check it Out! Ciao!!!

I don't feel in my opinion that there will ever be another group that comes close to the magic of the Temptations. The movie was great, that book though......WOW!!!!!! Temptations forever!!!

Yes he did. From 1984 until 1987. Dennis came back in 87. But then Ollie Ollie Woodson came back in the group after Dennis left again.

The Temptations were legends way before Woodson was a thought and they would have been celebrated as legends if they had quit after Dennis had left. Alli was great, but the die was cast with the HOF6

I just read some of the comments .Some of you people are so negative,especially the comment about David Ruffin Jr. Why does his mother(Genna)need to take a DNA test? You must remember that David Ruffin Jr’s Mother is white so therefore he’s mixed.Therefore if he doesn’t look exactly like his Dad, it’s expected.I’m quite sure he has some of his Dad’s features.
