Thank you for teaching me a new recipe. I love that you made this dairy free. I ditched dairy and now I make dairy free recipes and videos too. I hope we can learn more from each other. I’m thankful to be able to learn from your talent and skills.
I just found out that you have these You Tube videos and l love all the great recipes. Now I can have a gluten free and guilt free creamer.
Thank you for this recipe! Also, can I get the link for the water pitcher you used in this video? Thank you
Yeah i saw that somewhere in youtube without the coconut milk but i guess that makes a huge difference
I'm so glad I found your channel! Can't wait to try this!
Thank you!! I'm so glad too!!
Thanks for sharing the recipe! I have all of your books, but I like to print the recipes so my books don't get wrecked.
Happily!!
Yum!
My husband doesn’t like coconut. Is there an alternative?
Hi! When you soak your Almonds, do you peel the skins off before you make your almond milk?
Yes. I would peel them you’re using almonds and not cashews.
Can you freeze it so it lasts longer?
Yes you can!!
Yay, I can't wait to make this :)
Let me know what you think!
Can you make this without condensed coconut milk?
Instead of soaking cashews I just mashed them in a mortar and I diced the dates just to avoid any sticking to the blades.
That's a good tip! Thanks for sharing!!
@@Againstallgrain Thanks!
Make and freeze your creamers in silicone small cube trays.
What a great tip!!
where is the water filter link?
Here it is! amzn.to/2qBfAW2
Do you have a coffee creamer recipe using almonds/coconut?
Hi! I have a variety of recipes here (and you can sub any recipe that calls for cashews with almonds!) daniellewalker.com/dairy-free-milk-with-almond-cow/

Enjoy!
I don't know if it's your microphone or what, but your voice sounds very muffled on this video. I don't get it on other videos so I think it must be your equipment. Strangely It seems better when your head is bent down towards the counter.
I like your window covering.
Thank you so much!
can I use peanut?
Hi! I don't use legumes so I'm not sure how it would work here!
I just started experimenting with peanuts to make "peanut milk." I bought the blanched, skinless peanuts on Amazon, the 2 lb bag, which is a huge bag, by the way. I made my first batch last night, using a nut bag for draining. I didn't put anything in it but water, at about 3-1. If it's too thick, it takes a lot to get it through the nut bag. The result was a mild, creamy "milk" that has a slight flavor of peanut, but not overwhelming at all. I did rinse them first. Many videos on YT show using both roasted and raw peanuts. So I struck a middle ground with the blanched, unsalted. The 2 lb bag was around $14 but it is going to make a lot of peanut milk. I've had it in coffee and tea, and to day hot chocolate with 2/3 water, 1/3 peanut milk and honey. Very nice. It doesn't separate like oat milk. There is a bit of a swirl of separation you can see sometimes, but it stays pretty much in suspension without having to stir it again.
You used your bowl to soak your can and then you just dumped the water before you used the bowl to strain your nut milk into.. questionable about whether the bowl is sterile at that point ? May have an effect on length of time before it goes bad. Your big measuring cup might be a safer bet.
Great observation! I'll take that into account next time. Maybe it will give it a longer shelf life...thank you!
