A quick note to say a MASSIVE thank you to everybody who has supported our channel over the last year! We've just had our 1 year channel birthday and have just hit 500 subscribers this week! We started this channel as a bit of fun and to share our adventures with other people and even though our channel remains small, it's crazy to think that over 500 of you have enjoyed our videos enough to subscribe to our channel! We love making these videos and will continue to make them as long as you guys enjoy watching them! Whether you've been with us from the very start or have just joined our small community recently, we are so happy to have you with us on our journey and can't wait to keep sharing our adventures with you guys! THANK YOU!
Hi Kitte and Jon, we are new to your channel. We have never visited but it's on our bucket list. The view is beautiful. Great Jone shots. I love the castle 🏰 The trail is beautiful, so green and lush. Nice video.
Many thanks guys! 😊 everywhere you go on Skye you are treated to something beautiful! Hope you guys get to visit too one day on your bucket list quest! 😊
Love the footage, well done. On the various hikes such as these, the Quairang, and the Old man of Storr, where did you typically launch your drone from? Was there always a good spot away from other people? I’ll be visiting there soon. Hope to get some good drone footage. Thanks!
Thanks 😊 yes it’s pretty easy to find a quiet spot away from people to launch the drone…the areas are so big! Enjoy and hope you get some good shots! 😊
I loved it as always! The weather (especially the part in Portree) was more akin to what I experienced myself, haha :-) I didn't visit the Dunvegan garden nor castle (just drove past it), now I know I'll do it next time I go there. Thanks for sharing all of this. You inspired me to create a small VLOG for my own journey through Scotland. Although it's in French and nowhere near as professional as yours, I'd be honoured to have you around ;-) I'll comment with that account in case you want to follow!
Thanks so much! Love that you are enjoying our videos and that's amazing that we inspired you to create your own vlog of your trip! We will 100% check it out 😊 thanks again! 🙏
@@KittiandJon Thank you. Talking to a camera (well, a smartphone for that matter) that I'm holding myself proved to be very difficult for me, as a result I didn't do it much so now I have to find ways to still make the videos interesting, to try to tell a story like you do and not just a collection of short recorded snippets :-) It also takes way longer than I anticipated haha!
@@brett.caldas-lima we still find talking to the camera very strange even after a year of making our videos! And yeah we definitely gained a new respect for everyone making travel content on RUclips after starting to do so ourselves! It takes a long time to edit one video!
All your videos are so good and useful. I will not be able to explore all these placed on my trip however can you please tell me what would be your favourite view point or place this trip among all the different ones you showed across 3 videos
Thank you! 😊🙏 we're glad you found our videos useful! I think our top viewpoints are the Quiraing and the Old Man of Storr as the landscape there is just so iconic! 😍 you should definitely try to fit both of those into your itinerary! We hope you can!
We stayed in Kyle of Lochalsh, just on the other side of the Skye bridge. It was easy to access most of Skye from there. Here's the link to the listing: www.airbnb.co.uk/rooms/32780465?source_impression_id=p3_1702281622_bZCQ7y6%2Bf%2FixrB4q
The locals complain about the tourists causing traffic problems at Neist point but when i went up there, a local was parked in a major passing place near the top, deliberately blocking tourists. In the end there was a convoy of 10 going up, that had to negotiate with a convoy of 6 coming down, for them to reverse a considerable way back up to eradicate the log jam. All because of this selfish local parked in the passing place on the other side of the road from her property, instead of parking on her own land on her property, which there was space to do.

The fairy flag of Dunvegan didn't work at Culloden.

Beats me why all you clowns want to go to the lighthouse? Sad people, you ought to try living here ! Absolute mayhem all year round
