They're DIFFERENT from other iPad rumors. Let's talk about MORE than specs and what the rumors actually mean.
What do you want to see in the iPad 3? And WHY?
In case you were curious about the math:
2,048 x 1,536 = 3,145,728
1,024 x 768 = 786,432
3,145,728 / 786,432 = 4X the pixels!

So after 8 years no one had ever figured out the ‘basic math’ is wrong? It’s not 2x because he got the resolution of iPad 2 wrong. Love MKBHD still.
"1280 by 720 Full HD Display"? Full HD is usually used for 1920x1080 display's. But a retina display on iPad3 is indeed going to be quite amazing, great video!

I've never been so excited for an Apple product, probably because i'm going to be getting one. I can't seem to find the Asus Transformer Prime anywhere and if i don't find it anywhere soon, I'll probably just get the iPad 3 because that is really the next big thing! & I'm already an iOS user so i know i'll love it.

Quad core phones are coming out on MWC. Which is in 1 week. So not at the end of 2012. And that is super super super awsome.

@marquesbrownlee i suggest you also go see benchmarks of the new Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 on Anandtech....it literally doubles previous benchmarks and its a dualcore SoC
0:50 I thought full HD was 1920 by 1080. So isn't 720 by 1280 just HD?
Jomathan Delaney 720 is hd but 1080 is full hd

I enjoy the iOS environment and look forward to see what Apple can bring to the table with the new iPad. I just hope that if the iPad does go quad-core (which it should) the iphone (next version) get it too, because my contract will be up and I want quad-core awesomeness on my phone.
Great high quality videos and great charisma. Now I'm just hoping the iPad 3 doesn't have the same A5 chip and screen... Even though I won't buy it that would be just lame.

have you not heard that apple might just use an updatet dualcore processor instead? The ipad 3 can have as many pixels as it wants, but the userinterface from apple has been dissapointing so I would rather have the transformer prime HD.

@marquesbrownlee Apple has a way of making old tech look like new revolutinoary stuff. facetime, notification bar, slide to unlock, touchscreen etc.

not trying to be a prick or anything, but 720p isn't 'Full' HD, it's just HD. 1080p is 'Full' HD
while you're talking about the ipad3 you might as well talk about Samsung's rumored 11" retina display tablet :)

1280 x 720 is "just" HD isn't? And full HD is 1920 x 1080?
Ok i see a slight increase in the iPad screen, not retina type of increase though. I mean seriously hi-res screen, quad core, and 3g/LTE? Yeah one of those won't happen. Lower your expectations and you'll be happy with what Apple comes out with. Also the aspect ratio is just horrible, it has to be 16:9 and not 4:3 which is horrible for watching movies. Good vid BTW keep up the awesome work. :D

I have an ipad and for me to want to upgrade the ipad would have to include a software upgrade which supports a mouse and better file handling. Also be able to handle professional productivity apps such as 3d max. 2 me the hardware apple introduced is now standard what really needs to improve is the software.& right now this makes windows 8 look way more an attractive option even more so if its on a touch enabled ultrabook form factor. something designed for touch yet accessible to productivity.

Good review it should be interesting however,I heard they will only be releasing it as a 16 & 32 GB version I hope they do not drop the 64 GB cause that's the only version I buy oh yeah excellent selection of cereal ;-)
