There is a huge difference between guidance and judgement. Guidance would be messaging her, expressing your views on it kindly. Judging and exposing her sins is going onto a public platform such as comments and telling her to "just take it off" or telling her she's not a proper/real Muslim, or making fun of her, which is what I see in her comments every time, which is sad, specially since half the people saying so are men who have no idea what a struggle the hijab can be for some women. In this day and age, Muslims don't have time to be exposing/judging/harassing other Muslim women, considering what the world thinks of us already.

Thefleurchic - I don't think Dina is struggling, considering that she used to completely cover her hair and then decided not to anymore. and she is perfectly aware of the criticism (or 'advice' as some people like to call it) in the comments of all the people who just want to help, but these comments are in every single video, so it really gets old. so many muslim women do not cover their hair completely, that's just a fact of life. if one day they decide that they deem it more appropriate to cover their whole hair again, then that's the way it is. it is a personal decision
Yeah I understand what you're saying, but... I don't know if you wear the hijab... I recently started to wear full hijab+jilbab and it is a struggle in these days because there is this _constant_ ridiculous pressure to look a certain way. This is the reason why most muslim women don't wear the hijab (+ the fact that most muslims don't know the teachings of Islam regarding the compulsory nature of hijab). That's what I meant by "struggling"!
Personally I put my link with the Creator before the creations, and [thanks to Islam] I don't buy any of these "pressures to look/think/act a certain way", which is why it's very easy for me to survive the pressure, but that's just not the case for everyone, we must go easy on them. So, yes, she's not not wearing the actual hijab, but she's more modest than 99% of people I know, let's pray that she makes progress ! But, indeed, it's a personal decision :)

Hi, I mean this is in the nicest way. Love you Dina and I am new to Ascia but she has a wonderful personality. However, I did notice that she said she microbladed her eyebrows and she couldn't wash her face with them for a week. Considering tattoos are haram and the ink mixing with your blood is najas, and also considering you couldn't wash your face, how did you make wudu for that week? Also, is microblading different than tattooing because I would assume they would have the same judgment if they are. Thank you in advance :) warm wishes to you both xx
