- We build a ton of corporate 14 bolt rear end and front ends for our rock bouncers here at Busted Knuckle Off Road Shop. Well we had so many orders come in recently that we quickly ran out of stock. This called for a road trip with our trailers in tow! Jake Burkey and myself (Matt Myrick) hooked trailers up to our tow rigs and set out 3 hrs away to Tennessee to a salvage yard. We were on a mission to find as many junkyard 14 bolt axles as we could find. Well we ended up hitting the junkyard 14 bolt MOTHER LOAD with over 50 from one junkyard in Tennessee. They were already picked and ready to load. Then we had to make the trip back to the shop all in one day without issues so we could get back to fabwork and video work. We have these junkyard axles for sale as is or we can build them into a fully built 14bolt steering axle or a heavy duty rear. We also sell the pull out axles, gears, and more.

Try finding the 14 bolt 9.5, 6 lug or 5 lug with a measurement of 63.5" It took me awhile to find one out of a 94 Chevrolet 2500 light duty. Excellent upgrade for my K5 blazer.
they are only semi float, we like the heavier duty full float 14 bolts

In your opinion how much better is a full float vs a semi float axle as far as sheer strength and reliability?
we only use full float
What are your thoughts on shaving a 14b ff? Do you bother? Does it really weaken the housing? Do they leak? Do they crack?
we do a normal shave, the ones that shave down the ring gear are simply just no worth it

It was a pricey endeavor but should pay off in the long run.
Busted Knuckle Off Road yeah definitely. It should help you guys be able to make bunch of axles for some awesome rigs.

They say $250 on the case in yellow so max they paid is $12,500 thats if they didn't work a better deal since they got all of them from there
$12,500 is a lot of many when you are running a business....

14b are never hard to find lol.. 2min on the net and anyone can find a 14b for under $200 within 15 miles to them.
Never said they were hard to find, we just try to go and get them in big numbers so we can use them for builds.
Not as easy as they used to be to find here.
none in central IL here.. zero.. good luck. no gm trucks this old left here at all... all got scrapped in peoria behr shredder. it sux up here..
