Sir, during the test of Emergency Generator, the TIE BREAKER between MSB and ESB will automatically open. then the MSB has still normal power. But the ESB is totally blackout during the test and the back up Emergency generator will start and gives supply to ESB.

Yes, to avoid damaging the radar and other bridge equipment. always inform the bridge duty officer to shutdown radar and ecdis prior blackout simulation test.
