The part with olaf telling him he wouldn't swap with him being alive and dead, makes it very sad. Olaf knew the dude would have traded his life for theirs because deep down he loved them like true family.
The though of pre-rework Udyr walking out into the blizzard all lame looking and dorky, and then the absolute meat market they are making him into coming back out of the blizzard looking like an entirely new person that takes both Olaf and Sejuani off guard makes me smile. And the fact that I just called Udyr a "meat market" fills me with dread

I'm a little sad that this video didn't discuss the implications of this story for Demacian lore in addition to Freljordian - in the most recent Sejuani story before this one, she was traveling South with Sylas to invade the Demacian capital. Since Graham McNeil confirmed that this story takes place after the events of A Death Knot, it's highly likely that the events of the Warriors cinematic have already happened at this point: that would also explain why the Winter's Claw is so small, since they just lost a major battle. I think it's far more likely that this story is foreshadowing an advancement of the Demacian Civil War plot than the conflict in the Freljord.
Pretty sure Death's Knot was Sejuani and his troops retreating from the Demacian border but being catched offguard near a lake, anyway, the Winters Claw must have taken heavy hit from their defeat.
Imagine all three of the leaders meeting up in the mountain to face the Ursine and Volibear. -Sejuani and the Winter's Claw go up there for the Cauldron -Ashe and the Avarosans also go for the Cauldron (perhaps the Ruination destroyed most of their food supply and fields) -And Lissandra going there for some revenge against the bear who took her eyes. I just want to see Sejuani and Ashe working together :D
Im gonna focus on a very minor part of the story. But I *REALLY* loved that small inclusion of Kindred in the middle there. I don't know. It's just nice that there is something that riot set up previously (and relatively forgotten about) in the lore. And its actually being used in the lore. and in a way that fits perfectly. I love this universe.
There is a youtube Channel called TERRASIA who makes sculptures. They have partnered with Riot before when Seraphine came out, and now they are teasing a New sculpture of Ornn and Volibear fighting, so I think there is a Big chance for a cinematic with them🤔

So glad I started watching your lore videos just a week before The Call came out. It was even more sick knowing what lead to everything and what it means. Thank you for putting so much work into this, you got me interested in Runterra so much I want to devour every piece of information I can get.
I think Lissandra has the best lore in the entire universe of League, not just Freljord. There is so much mystery, the scale of things is beyond the motives of other champions.
@@DadoPanda lissandra definitely has the most lore potential from the Freljord but they are taking things slowly with her as they should, it takes time for a good build up, on the other hand they are using sejuani as a vessel to tell the current story in the freljord so that we can see things through her eyes and she has the most lore out of the three so by default she has the best stories i mean compare “silence for the damned” and “the dream thief”, the former is a story made to progress the lore and create tension while the latter is a story made to explain someone’s role in the world you could condense “the dream thief” and call it lissandra’s bio and it would still work.
This can really be a new animated series for me imo, a long peerless journey faced with many obstacles to save her people, filled with frejlord horrors and mysteries solved
An origin story of Sejuani/Ashe's ancestors and Lissandra pre Void corruption would be cooler at a later date. Everybody knows the real villain of Runeterra is The Void.

None of the Freljordian human champions ( except Sejuani and Nunu ) are dressed properly for winter. Gragas is almost naked, Tryndamere and Braum are shirtless, by the looks of his VGU Udyr will be shirtless too, Olafs legs and arms are completely exposed. So yea I doubt they will change Ashe.

I want Jayce vs Renni or an attempt at Jayce´s life by Renni. I hope Arcane´s timeline directs us to the Uprising in Noxus. I hope for either in Season 3 of Arcane or in its own show to see the Wars Noxus has. The second way would be better for people that get scared by lots of episodes and lots oof seasons. (Personal experience with one piece, bleach, naruto, breaking bad and Star Wars CW)
I mean, technically all League champions have plot armor since Riot refuses to kill any of them. But there are other consequences besides death. If Sejuani and Olaf lose the rest of the Winter’s Claw, or they fall under the Volibear’s control… that would be a HUGE shake up to the power dynamics of the Freljord
Gotta respect Ornn, he was completely neutral, even his followers were neutral during the affairs between Three Sisters, the Watchers and the old Gods. They were just doing what they did best forge and make great equipments, tools, etc. The only reason he resurfaced is because his stubborn brother kept forcing him. Heck even Anivia doesn't even try to convince Ornn to join her cause or ask him to forge weapons for her precious mortals, she just leaves him alone in his forge. Damn you Voli.

Lore and media attention is what this region needs, the Freljord has not had a champion since Ornn 2017, and i have a suspecion it may be because Riot likes Ionia a bit more than other regions. Alas, Zaun has not had a champ since Ekko 2015, but between the massive success of Arcane and the fact that the upcoming ADC and Support is almost certainly from Zaun, i think that Region has been sated for now.

I don't like Sejuani, her ideology is something that I greatly disagree with, to me the Winter's Claw is just a bunch of scavengers scraping the bottom of the pot stealing from others and calling it "survival of the fittest", I REALLY don't like them, but I admit that her stories are very good and her development is good. I like Ashe, her ideology is something that resonates with me, but she doesn't really have stories, that short comic was cool and showed her potential, the Avarosans are the future of Freljord and the ones that I think truly have the chance to keep going in this land, but she as their queen simply doesn't have true development, she still just the token "sexy ice archer".
Yeah the fact it says "prisoner to stone walls and fields" Ah yes a prisoner to sustainable food and shelter. I also have a general disdain for the "might makes right, survival of the fittest" ideology but I do like that they still try to characterize it as more than just that.
I was just thinking the same ahahah It still bugs me the whole mentality of the winter claw: "confort? Nahh. Die of the elements and wild animals for 0 reasons? Oh yeahh". I get the whole viking mentality, but one thing is being a badass and liking the fighting and all that, and other thing is purposely risking a whole tribe just because " not being prisoner to stone houses and fields". They can continue their scavenger life in the same way, but at least if a mamoth decides to do "poetic middle finger" they don't risk die of starvation and have agriculture and a house to fall back on.
This is a great story, I really hope to a cinematic of it, I love freljord, it is the one place of runeterra, that brings me chills every time with those amazing storys! Hardcore Story's!!
Think it would be better if Olaf was tall but only close as tall as Seju riding. I also wish since she is fighting Volibear her mount Bristle would be a big white Ram (and that comes from a guy who liked to play Seju since 2012) I also wish Riot would finally give Olaf his much deserved VGU...

Lore and media attention is what this region needs, the Freljord has not had a champion since Ornn 2017, and i have a suspecion it may be because Riot likes Ionia a bit more than other regions.
Alas, Zaun has not had a champ since Ekko 2015, but between the massive success of Arcane and the fact that the upcoming ADC and Support is almost certainly from Zaun, i think that Region has been sated for now.

I don't like Sejuani, her ideology is something that I greatly disagree with, to me the Winter's Claw is just a bunch of scavengers scraping the bottom of the pot stealing from others and calling it "survival of the fittest", I REALLY don't like them, but I admit that her stories are very good and her development is good.
I like Ashe, her ideology is something that resonates with me, but she doesn't really have stories, that short comic was cool and showed her potential, the Avarosans are the future of Freljord and the ones that I think truly have the chance to keep going in this land, but she as their queen simply doesn't have true development, she still just the token "sexy ice archer".

It still bugs me the whole mentality of the winter claw: "confort? Nahh. Die of the elements and wild animals for 0 reasons? Oh yeahh". I get the whole viking mentality, but one thing is being a badass and liking the fighting and all that, and other thing is purposely risking a whole tribe just because " not being prisoner to stone houses and fields". They can continue their scavenger life in the same way, but at least if a mamoth decides to do "poetic middle finger" they don't risk die of starvation and have agriculture and a house to fall back on.
