Your videos are super awesome. I would like to know what to place in a mold that has a drainage hole so that the wax does not come through when filling the container? I’m not sure what to do. Do you have a video on that step or technique?
Hi, I love when you make these videos, There little to non information about concrete and candles out there. One thing I can't get right is the concrete vessels get really hot when I burn the candle. (especially the 3 mini sets) what can I do to prevent it from getting it that hot? is it the concrete or the sealer I use? Any information will help
Hi!! Thanks for watching my videos :) Sometimes mine get warm but not hot. What wax are you using? I ask because I use 100% soy wax and it doesn't burn as hot as paraffin or paraffin soy blends. Paraffin tends to burn hotter, depending on your wax this could be it. I hope that helps!
Hi!!! I want to make concrete candles staring the new year. I am transitioning to a new look. Your videos are very helpful!! TYSM I want to know what type of cement are you using?… Thank you for your time!
Hi there! I was wondering what you do with your cement slurry after you pour your vessels? I live in an apartment so clean up is hard since I can’t just rinse out my containers in the sink:(
I bought some acrylic paint but it set the concrete and congealed very quickly I think it may have had ammonia in the paint it was very strange. Maybe wrong type of acrylic paint ??
SUPER helpful.
Thank you, Kayla! 💖
Thanks for watching!
I love the look of your concrete vessels and your collection. It’s beautiful and really stands out!

Hi! You just need small wooden pegs :)

Thank you for your time!
I mention what type of cement I use in each video and all the supplies are in the description. Thanks for watching!
Hello! I love your videos. Do you put soft stickers on the bottom of the containers (like these you put under the chair legs to protect the floor)?
Hi! I have glossy stickers on the bottom. I also sand the bottom corners so they don't scratch :)
Am when posting like how do you work that out cause off the weight and then the cost off the candle on top off that
How much do you charge for your large planter candles?
Hi there! I was wondering what you do with your cement slurry after you pour your vessels? I live in an apartment so clean up is hard since I can’t just rinse out my containers in the sink:(
I have a orange large bucket that I pour the left over in and then dump on the garbage once full :)

Yes I would say try a different brand and make sure it isn't "satin" finish or anything
What insurance do you recommend?
Hi! I have heard of State Farm and All State being great ones :)
Hii pretty ,, what do u think about mixing soy and paraffin by myself at home? Like does it work?
Hi! I'm not sure if that works as I have never tried. I have always used 100% soy wax so I'm not sure about the mixing.
Thanks for watching!
Where can I get help to set up my shopify?
Hi! I don't currently have a video on this but I'll add it to my list :)
Are those the same contianers for your plants, in the background? If they are what kind of sealant did you use?
Yes I use Polycrylic for both :)
@@WizeOwlCandles do you use gloss or matte poly?
@@samanthanicholson9015 I am using satin finish currently. I like that one or matte
@@WizeOwlCandles poly?
I seem to have peeling and the one I'm using now don't stay on. I think you mentioned poly crylic just making sure what to get thanks
The Acrylic sealer is not listed is there a cheaper one
I get it at our local home improvement store. Others have used earth safe if that helps!
@@WizeOwlCandles I get peeling what kind of sealer works best for you?
I like poly crylic it holds up better.
Who do you go with for insurance purposes? Just starting with candles and will need insurance......
Depends where you live. Search insurance companies that support candle companies. I believe state farm does
