    Thank you so much for taking the time to create this video. It was incredibly helpful for me as I'm experimenting and testing to find the right formula for my cement bowls. It was challenging at first to understand the need for adding sand to the cement, especially since we don't have a ready-made mix like Cementall here in Bulgaria. Your insights have been invaluable in guiding me through this process.

      Thank you for watching and your kind words! I have made coasters before by pouring the cement mixture into a coaster mold from Amazon. Same measurements I do a 1 to 3 ratio (1 part water 3 parts concrete). You can either apply sealer to make the coaster water proof or I have also not sealed and the condensation soaked into the concrete. That part comes down to preference. I hope that helps!

    Cement All is actually a grout. It says so on the box. Cement+ water = Cement (basically a glue or binder). Cement + sand = grout (Cement All, stronger than just cement). Cement + sand + aggregates(gravel) = Cement (stronger than grout).
    It's easier to say cement or concrete when referring to these jars but Cement All is a grout. Knowing that means you can find alternative grouts or making your own.

    • @WizeOwlCandles
      @WizeOwlCandles  3 года назад +2

      Hi! I test each container and wick. Then I test the fragrances . So for example I know a specific wick works for my ovals so when I test it's more for fragrance oil and the container. :)
      So if I had 3 different containers and 3 different scents. I would test 9 candles. I hope that helps! 😊

  • @78yaddi
    @78yaddi 3 года назад +8

    I’m no expert but don’t think you can use just any kind of concrete for candle making as some of them contain additives to fortify the mix and can be dangerous if exposed to fire. They can create fumes that you unknowingly breath. Cement All contains Methanal. To make concrete you just need cement, water, sand and sometimes gravel. For a candle container cement and sand should be enough.

      Hi! That's why I say in all my videos to make sure you are testing your own containers. I personally use cement all, have tested it out, and have not had any issues.
