I'm going to call BS, it's 15 HP. If you buy a used Japanese bike in the winter, they aren't that expensive. I've seen used KLR250s for $1500 or XRL250.
The more I see of those trails, the more I want to ride them! Thank you for bringing us along. If you don’t give the Brozz away I’m sure you’ll be able to sell it easily! Maybe even to me!
I have a brozz as well and i am a beginner in this trail riding. Watching you push the brozz like that makes me feel good about mine. I just need to get better but seems the bike can do far more. I did notice my 50/50 tires dont seem to grab all that well especially if its muddy. I want to find a good set of knobbies for it. Great video man thanks for sharing!
Haydenville is such an odd little town to drive through. I was just riding down at Wayne last Thursday. Going again this week. We’ll be running out of nice days soon.
When you said it weighs 60 lbs less than the crf250L..which I own..I checked,, and ive seen 257, 275 and 305lbs. From different sites. My guess is the crf250l with abs that I have is said to weigh 318 lbs. wet. You may have looked at the "dry" weight. I don't know..
Yes, trails are pretty good but watch out for the smash and grab thieves that clean out your truck while you’re out riding. Happened to mine at the Monday Creek trailhead, cop that showed up to make the report said happens a lot. Threw one of those big rocks you see in the parking lot at the beginning of this video through the side window of my truck. Happened about 5 years ago so maybe things have improved.
them brozz 250s are about the best bang 4 buck, that trail you rode looks great, here in the UK we had loads of trails like that, old mineral railways took up and abandoned, 1000s of miles of them, we used to be able to ride on them but now they have been taken over by dog walkers and horse riders and bikes have been legislated out of bounds, ride an off-road bike in the UK and some nutcase stands in your way pointing a camera phone at you shouting "I'm phoning the police"
It should be called the brozz 230CC with 15 hp but only 6.5 torque, but for the price, honestly this is kinda like a prius... slow, cheap to own, and full of features. for those wondering it has a top speed of 105k/h and listed weight is 257... probably dry. Only 2.4 Gal fuel tank and it does have rear drum brakes. I wish the power was closer to 15 torque at least, but honestly not bad for the price. I might consider getting one in the future. Maybe sell my 2003 Honda XR100R for it. I don't ride my first bike anymore, but the XR is just to good for new riders to learn on and is nice to have for friends to ride on.
My guess is you were doing a wheelie on the trail and spotted a squirrel up the road then decided to chase it up a tree. The ensuing fisticuffs ended in a bitten off front fender, a bruised ego, and a rage-happy squirrel with a brand new canoe.
You tried to wrestle a tree? Lol. Looking good sounding okayish. Like in my last comment about the bike a carb and exhaust upgrade would be the first and probably the only changes I'd make. Keep up the great videos man.
Random viewer and bike enthusiast here. I watched the unpacking video as well and I have to say for less than $2000, this bike is a steal. Would love to have one but there arent any trails to ride in where I live. (insert sad face here)
I am seriously considering one of these. Are you planning on doing a sprocket change, exhaust etc etc? Would love to keep watching more vids of the bike, subbed
Did you get this titled? I have a hawk 250 DLX on pre order and want it to hop around town on and mess around with. Im also in Ohio and cant wait for mine to come in ha. I have a 300 xcw to do serious trail riding on but these look like so much cheap fun I had to place an order.
Nice Video. Two questions. What year is your Brozz 250? I talked to dealer in GA and they told me they will not be getting the 2020 model in until Feb 2020 and they sold out of the 2019 models. Also how difficult was it to assemble the bike once you received it. Thanks.
What is mpg on the brozz? I have always had honda dirt bikes and love them but being a disabled veteran raising my niece i can't afford a Honda ive looked at the taotao tbr7 the hawk bms and the brozz and I think my savings will hopefully be buying me a brozz by next year! I haven't seen one horrible review for the brozz
I hate to say it but many bikes can keep up with dirtbikes, if you can find a good line. i keep up with dirtbike buddies on a himalayan, i just pick a smoooth line to not abuse the suspension too hard(and avoid deep ruts getting 400 lbs stuck sucks). Nice riding though, I bet that light bike is a treat especial on trails.
I'm in Macedonia. There is good riding east of you in Pa. We go out to Marienville a couple of times a year. Check the NEO thread on ADV-Regional forums. Wayne is a blast too. It's been 20 years since I've been there. The trails in Pa are closer to us.
So overall how would you recommend this bike off-road? I plan on using it mostly as a dirtbike if I get one and I just want to know if it can stand up to the use and power that is required to ride through woods and stuff like that.
What do you know about the differences between the FI and carbed models of the Brozz? It looks like they went back to carbs in 2020. Thanks for the vid. Lots of fun. How do we enter to win the wee green beastie?
i live right down by Old mans cave in Adelphi Ohio 1 mile from Laurelville Oh i rode street bikes all my life was thinking of getting a dual purpose bike and like the looks of this Brozz but im a bigger guy 260 lbs do you think it will pull me great video
What state are you in. And were is the wayne national forest. That looks like a cool place to ride. I wish we had a place like that here in GA. There's no places to off road here were im at. Greedy real estate developers are buying up everything. And throwing up apartment complexes, subdivisions, townhomes.
I am in Ohio! These trails are definitely awesome but I know you have some sweet trails down south, ever been to Durhamtown? I went as a kid a few times and it felt like heaven.
So did you have to do any thing to the engine at all or is this straight out of the box and I mean even tweaking the carb is there anything you can give me before I go buy myself one because of your video then get screwed because so far I've seen two different outcome another buddy bought his and had to complete tweak the thing before even going anyhwere
Need to install that front fender bracket or if you did not get one call them for one. Looks like junk flopping around and that is not they way they are.
That thing sounded like it ran really good. Amazing for a cheap bike. Im really looking forward to more of your testing. please be a little rough with it, so we get a reliable test for durability.
If you want to see song More punishing test of these bikes check it out the video srkcycles Channel bikes and beards did on it. They literally did everything to destroy the HAWK 250 & it held up to it some SERIOUSLY ridiculous torture!
Hawk will be better off road due to the tires it comes with and larger stock wheels. Brozz is more of a dualsport/enduro where the hawk is closer to a street legal dirt bike. Brozz will run smoother since it's counter balanced, has a bit lower seat height, better on road handling due to the tires. Both are good, just depends on what your primary use is. Peace seems like a better company to deal with then a few that are slinging hawks, parts price and availability are good.
@@EasyRiderGreg same here, but I also use it to commute to work so I went with the bashan storm which is a twin to the brozz. Fun little bikes as long as you don't expect it to be a drz400 or cr450l.
Is it pronounced bra-z or bro-z , guess it doesn't matter. Looks like a good bike and i'm trying to decide on a bike to just putt around and hit some trails also.
It has to be Bashan brothers Brozz, not like a woman's bra, I just commented about this before reading your comment as I hear all these youtubers calling it the Bra's, and that just doesn't make sense, and sounds weird to call a bike that.
I'm starting to research the Chinese dual Sports and realizing there's quite a lot to choose from, there's the Tao Tao, the CSC, this one, do you have any thoughts on any major differences between the Chinese 250 S I know this one has inverted forks but I'm going to have to make a spreadsheet with all sorts of stuff before I decide which one I want the most
Contrary to popular belief, these bikes, build wise, are just as good as the Big 4...they're just missing the HP that the others have...for instance the 250's HP is equivalent to the Suzuki DR-Z 125. During the video you're talking about being able to "keep up" but if that CRF wanted to, it would leave you behind in a second. Otherwise, they're great bikes.
Only issue I have with a bike like that getting parts and just how reliable they are the price is good but 2 grand is a ton to me so I really need to get a bike I know will last
I would recommend buying a used name brand bike. Parts are easy to find and they are much more reliable. However, if you don't know what you're doing you can get screwed over.
Tanner Mckown yeah totally agree I have a 97 xr 100 thing is great helped me learn how to not be stupid when the bikes get less forgiving thinking about getting a kx or yz 125 now I rode a 250 4 stroke and it felt like it had tons of power and was huge I’m 6’1 so my xr is pretty small for me but the crf 250 x I rode felt like a throne lol
There is no issues getting parts unless you are completely incompetent and dependent on a dealer or extremely lazy. I have a bashan storm which is near identical to the brozz and you can get anything from csc, peace motorsports or Amazon. Only thing I've had to fix so far was the regulator rectifier which was $6 on amazon.
duck9191 cool yeah I know about how hard it is to find parts my 97 xr is a bit of a pain to find certain things thank you for responding tho just didn’t know if parts where horrible to find or not
@@alexdamron3170 the importers have realized that if people can't get parts they won't buy. Plastics migh be the most difficult to find, but I think peace has some for the Brozz and roketa/bashan will fit it.
@ Billy Bob; On the "MotoCheez" channel, they said it could be registered in all 50 states, along with a couple other bikes! I wouldn't mind one of these for the price for sure!
People get excited about the Chinese bikes becaus it's obtainable for the common working man. We know they aren't as good but we wanna go to.
Exactly!
Yes, that is correct, average joe can work on them.
Couldn't have said that any better myself . I'm definitely planning on buying one it's just shopping for the best dealer now .
