Tips to mix Indigo & Henna powder together, so that you wont make any mistakes while preparing indigo hair dye. This is a very effective recipe of natural hair dye .This dye will give you 100% natural black colour if used as per instructions!!👍
I have prepared this homemade hair dye / natural hair colour / hair dye that you can easily prepare it at home by using henna and indigo powder. Friends Apply this one step Heena and Indigo hair color on a clean shampooed oilfree Hair.
Dos and donts for indigo hair colour application

Shampoo your hair a day before applying this dye . don't use any condtioner also. next day apply this hair dye properly cover your whole head with this henna pack
and dont forget to cover head with a shower cap
After three hours wash it off with water .Dont use any shampoo or conditioner while rinsing. Here this is very important do not use any shampoo or conditioner for three to four days after this Process, and don’t put any oil also.. THIS IS BECAUSE INDIGO TAKES A FEW DAYS FOR THE OXIDATION PROCESS TO TAKE PLACE...
The true colour takes a few days to show..The colour may seem brassy or coppery at first , but this will deepen over the next 3-4 days!! But still if you are not happy with results use this Henna paste and indigo paste
Every ten days for few months .. this will give you PERMANENT RESULTS!!👍👍

What if i add shikakai powder, amla powder, egg to the mixture?
I saw that you mixed the indigo powder in the same bowl as the dye released henna paste. Many other videos I've seen people mix the indigo in a different bowl, make the paste, let indigo paste sit for 10-20 min, then mix both pastes together and apply.

@@gorgeousyou19 the part that I do not understand is that you wrote in the caption to mix the indigo in water to form a paste but then in the video, you mixed the indigo powder right into the henna paste. I just want to get this right and not make any mistakes especially because I have locs and am afraid that this will all be already too hard to rinse out and or time-consuming already. I just want to do this only once lolol if that makes any sense. Thank you!

Indigo gives its best colour if mixed with pure henna , we need rich orange colour of henna only. Indigo gives blue colour only ,when mixed with orange colour, it becomes dark brown or black, but if we mix any other herb to henna , we don't get orange colour,
So no need to add any other herb in this

You can actually use stainless steel, I've even seen henna mixed in iron vessels as well to achieve a darker colour, I've used both for years without issue...If you don't want to wait overnight for the dye release, just use warm coconut milk instead of water, you will get almost instant dye release. This is the 2nd video I've seen where the indigo was added directly to the henna mix, I have to try this. I usually add aloe vera powder for additional moisture. Thanks for sharing.

The hair becomes very dry by just henna & indigo.Any remedy for that issue.
Yes I know but if u want deep colour you have to bear with it
After 3- days of applying this remedy apply oil generously on your hair then shampoo
But if u want brownish colour then you can mix onion juice about half cup into henna a night before it will balance dryness of henna then next morning mix indigo powder just 15 min before application
Don’t shampoo for at least 4 days after rinsing this paste

I don't shampoo but after the application/plain rinse the hair is dry.wanted a solution for that.
Add aloe powder to the henna. Not much, just 2-3 tablespoons.
You repeat applying henna every 10 days for a month how come?
For the first month apply this pack thrice a month, ( every 10 days ) so that it's color gets properly coated on your hair, then you can apply twice a month for best results

I tried this method two times.. But it didn't work to get black color.. where I am going wrong..
Morning I have taken henna powder,added normal water to it to make a paste and kept it till night. Then I added double amount of indigo powder to the henna paste and added warm water to make yogurt like paste.. After 5 mins I have applied it to my hair... But I didn't work😔😔

You need to leave for 1 hour after applying..
Henna + indigo = brown
To get black you have to do a 2-step process, not a 1-step. Henna for 4 hours, rinse. Then indigo for 2 hour, rinse.
