  • Bryce Duncan, a former senior at Liberty High School, grew up loving math and music as two independent entities. However, after taking a Calculus class, he started to see a deeper connection between the two subjects, helping him understand both more clearly. Join Bryce on his journey into this interdisciplinary learning experience, and his discussion as to how these types of experiences can benefit all of us. Bryce is a senior at Liberty High School. At school, he is a very active member of the choir program. Outside of school, he often works as an actor for the Oregon Children’s Theater and Kaiser Permanente, supporting health and wellness in the community. Some of his interests include music, hacky sacking, solving Rubik’s cubes, and going on casual runs. He will be studying music or theatre in college this upcoming fall. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx

Nice findings. Thanks. But this is not interdisciplinary. It’s transdisciplinary.
