It is arguably one of the cruelest industries out there. The abuse and suffering is so prolonged and it just gets repeated over and over until they have nothing left to offer the farmer. The egg industry is horrific too, baby chicks ground up alive the first day of life. As long as we pay for it, these practices will continue. It doesn't matter if it's free range or organic. It is the same. When we know the truth, we can do better. There are so many plant milk options out there and I'm sure you'll find one you like. I wish you all the best of luck. :)
My family owns large fields of land, and farm land in Colombia. My family take as many animals including cows that have been mistreated, to nurture them and take care of them (not to hurt them in any way). There’s been so many cows that have had babies and they’ve never separated, because their bond is so tight. I am so grateful that my family has been doing this for almost 67 years. I am so grateful that at least we’re saving at least some cows in this awful environment of a world. ❤️ much love to all the people who are going or trying to be dairy free. ❤️

A year ago in health, they showed us how they were abusing animals and the cow story was so heartbreaking that I gave up drinking milk because I didn't want to support it but now I am giving up dairy all together because actually seeing how badly they abuse these animals is not okay. That Artist21 there’s super delicious milk replacements like oat milk, soy, almond, and flax! They’re so smooth and much healthier and more nutritious than dairy. For cheesy flavor, you can sprinkle nutritional yeast on stuff like pasta and it tastes delicious! You can also make cheese sauce with nutritional yeast and almond milk or buy daiya cheese. It might take a while to get used to the taste of these things but the health benefits of giving up dairy are amazing- better skin, digestion, and reducing overall inflammation in the body to prevent disease!
Just go for it, ease yourself into it, get rid of a dairy product every week and then soon enough you’ll be eating no dairy and you’ll feel so much better about your decisions!

This is so heartbreaking. Im almost 7 months pregnant and I've never lived a dairy free life but after seeing this I dont want to expose my daughter to this way of life. We need to make a change.

As a young person whose dependent on their parents income, i can’t really make a decision for everyone on what we get to eat or drink but what I can do Is make a decision for myself and teach my family about this cruel industry. If we all just start by taking one step at a time, we could change this system. Starting off by choosing to drink almond milk instead of cow milk and dropping cheese has truly made an impact. @@emmabennett769 not all people can afford to ditch every form of dairy...I could probably ditch milk and switch to almond and soy milk, and maybe cheese, but vegan/dairy alternatives aren't always cheap. I'm trying my best to limit my meat consumption and I'm trying to limit dairy, but it's not always cost efficient especially when your having financial problems 🙁

I've been vegan for a few years now and it was one of the best decisions I made, just eat a wide variety of whole plant foods, take a B12 supplement and enjoy all the different vegan alternatives to meat, dairy etc. Good luck!
I’ve taken a few classes on nutrition as a med student, I wouldn’t go Vegan, supplements don’t make an impact like getting nutrients from food. You need a balanced diet. Most I would do would be vegetarian but not forever. Maybe a few months here and there

You can do it!! There’s soo sooo many resources online for you to use. Try YouTubing any questions you might have. Also you can Facebook local vegan groups. Make sure you educate yourself on why you want to make such a beautiful change. 💚. I suggest you watch dominion as well as what the health. That one is on Netflix. Once you educate yourself on why you want to live a vegan lifestyle ( that tries to reduce harm as much as practicably possible) it becomes the easiest thing ever. You can do it it's actually really easy and there are a lot of alternatives and honestly I found being on a vegan diet was cheaper then one with meat and dairy also if you have trouble still committing you should watch dominion on youtube
I’m going to be honest, at first I just thought “they’re just cows, they don’t have feelings” then i saw the videos and I just wanted to sob!! And I realized that I’m not a mother, so I’m not one to say “they’re cows they don’t need a relationship with their mom” now I think the total opposite
Im so glad I have a farm. In my farm we have a small amount of cows so we can all tend to their everyday needs. We wake up extra early for our cows. Our cows are milked and then pet and the milk is purified. We make sure our cows have good food and friends. Cows have best friends. We have 2 baby’s right now and I think 5 grown adults. Sadly one of them did die. ( it was very old) we gave her a proper burial. We care for all of our animals excluding our goats and chickens. My family’s farm provides for all of our animals. If I could take away all of these cows’ pain, I would in a heartbeat. We need to treat cows how my family treats them. with RESPECT where the cows feel safe. I hope one day, these cows find peace in cow heaven 💔 (remember my cows are milked everyday at around 5 in the morning. We then pet them talk to them even 😂 and then we move on to the goats and chickens. I hope these cows find a place in cowie heaven😭❤️💔) THIS IS TORTURE, ANIMAL ABUSE. This needs to change 💔

I struggled with the idea of going vegan for years but when I saw that there were honestly bomb ass food (that was cruelty free) available to me, it only made sense.

There’s actually no strong evidence that dairy is good for kids, getting calcium is important for bone growth but there are lots of plant sources of calcium like vegetables and other alternative milks like soy, almond, flax, oat- you can look into those for calcium as well! :)

Before seeing this video I had absolutely NO idea that this was happening, and that these poor cows were being abused in such a criminal way. I have been vegan for almost a year because it honestly is important that those poor animals do not get hurt any more. I would also just like to say thank you so much for telling all of us about this.
I am fully vegan (was vegetarian) after 4 weeks now ✌🏾. My coworker would tell me “plants have feelings too. Just because you can’t hear them doesn’t mean you’re not hurting them”. I definitely agree but the plant world is so different than the animal world. Plants give us life, a healthier lifestyle, and they will continue to grow and help our environment. Killing animals? There’s more harm than good done. I remember in health class they showed us the hidden abuse of animals & I was heartbroken. It’s just so so so sad. This topic is constantly debated but there is a right answer. FREE THE ANIMALS!!! We are animals as well so how are we & cows & chickens & pigs & sheep any different?

My dad is a farmer and he will try his best to make sure they are together for as long as possible and he would NEVER EVER hurt them like that he has cameras where the animals will give birth and unless in is necessary he will let them give birth alone and let them. bond with their baby I guess it might be different in America

A year ago in health, they showed us how they were abusing animals and the cow story was so heartbreaking that I gave up drinking milk because I didn't want to support it but now I am giving up dairy all together because actually seeing how badly they abuse these animals is not okay. That Artist21 there’s super delicious milk replacements like oat milk, soy, almond, and flax! They’re so smooth and much healthier and more nutritious than dairy. For cheesy flavor, you can sprinkle nutritional yeast on stuff like pasta and it tastes delicious! You can also make cheese sauce with nutritional yeast and almond milk or buy daiya cheese. It might take a while to get used to the taste of these things but the health benefits of giving up dairy are amazing- better skin, digestion, and reducing overall inflammation in the body to prevent disease!
Just go for it, ease yourself into it, get rid of a dairy product every week and then soon enough you’ll be eating no dairy and you’ll feel so much better about your decisions!

As a young person whose dependent on their parents income, i can’t really make a decision for everyone on what we get to eat or drink but what I can do Is make a decision for myself and teach my family about this cruel industry. If we all just start by taking one step at a time, we could change this system. Starting off by choosing to drink almond milk instead of cow milk and dropping cheese has truly made an impact.

@@emmabennett769 not all people can afford to ditch every form of dairy...I could probably ditch milk and switch to almond and soy milk, and maybe cheese, but vegan/dairy alternatives aren't always cheap. I'm trying my best to limit my meat consumption and I'm trying to limit dairy, but it's not always cost efficient especially when your having financial problems 🙁

I've been vegan for a few years now and it was one of the best decisions I made, just eat a wide variety of whole plant foods, take a B12 supplement and enjoy all the different vegan alternatives to meat, dairy etc.

I’ve taken a few classes on nutrition as a med student, I wouldn’t go Vegan, supplements don’t make an impact like getting nutrients from food. You need a balanced diet. Most I would do would be vegetarian but not forever. Maybe a few months here and there

You can do it!! There’s soo sooo many resources online for you to use. Try YouTubing any questions you might have. Also you can Facebook local vegan groups. Make sure you educate yourself on why you want to make such a beautiful change. 💚. I suggest you watch dominion as well as what the health. That one is on Netflix. Once you educate yourself on why you want to live a vegan lifestyle ( that tries to reduce harm as much as practicably possible) it becomes the easiest thing ever.

I’m going to be honest, at first I just thought “they’re just cows, they don’t have feelings” then i saw the videos and I just wanted to sob!! And I realized that I’m not a mother, so I’m not one to say “they’re cows they don’t need a relationship with their mom” now I think the total opposite
Im so glad I have a farm. In my farm we have a small amount of cows so we can all tend to their everyday needs. We wake up extra early for our cows. Our cows are milked and then pet and the milk is purified. We make sure our cows have good food and friends. Cows have best friends. We have 2 baby’s right now and I think 5 grown adults. Sadly one of them did die. ( it was very old) we gave her a proper burial. We care for all of our animals excluding our goats and chickens. My family’s farm provides for all of our animals. If I could take away all of these cows’ pain, I would in a heartbeat. We need to treat cows how my family treats them. with RESPECT where the cows feel safe. I hope one day, these cows find peace in cow heaven 💔 (remember my cows are milked everyday at around 5 in the morning. We then pet them talk to them even 😂 and then we move on to the goats and chickens. I hope these cows find a place in cowie heaven😭❤️💔) THIS IS TORTURE, ANIMAL ABUSE. This needs to change 💔

I struggled with the idea of going vegan for years but when I saw that there were honestly bomb ass food (that was cruelty free) available to me, it only made sense.

There’s actually no strong evidence that dairy is good for kids, getting calcium is important for bone growth but there are lots of plant sources of calcium like vegetables and other alternative milks like soy, almond, flax, oat- you can look into those for calcium as well! :)

I am fully vegan (was vegetarian) after 4 weeks now ✌🏾. My coworker would tell me “plants have feelings too. Just because you can’t hear them doesn’t mean you’re not hurting them”. I definitely agree but the plant world is so different than the animal world. Plants give us life, a healthier lifestyle, and they will continue to grow and help our environment. Killing animals? There’s more harm than good done. I remember in health class they showed us the hidden abuse of animals & I was heartbroken. It’s just so so so sad. This topic is constantly debated but there is a right answer. FREE THE ANIMALS!!!

My dad is a farmer and he will try his best to make sure they are together for as long as possible and he would NEVER EVER hurt them like that he has cameras where the animals will give birth and unless in is necessary he will let them give birth alone and let them. bond with their baby I guess it might be different in America
