I reckon a decent way to buff it is for every special move that you connect whilst EK is active it adds extra time to the buff. It would be up to a maximum of let’s say 10 seconds, and the same move cannot add to the timer twice. I don’t know what the buff timer is now but if it’s for instance 8 seconds from the moment you pop it, you lose 4 seconds dancing around neutral and then manage to connect a DB4 the timer goes up 1 second, and then you jump and do J234 and connect the dive kick and the timer goes up again by one second. I think this will add pressure for you to catch the opponent within the initial buff window but then once you do and IF you can keep the combo going you’re rewarded with an extended buff timer. You’ll still be limited by gravity and scaling but at least you’ll have a longer opportunity to land a decent combo, and I don’t think it’ll be overpowered because you’re still limited by potentially dropping the combo and the opponent using breaker.
@@edd4131 That could work too, though I think gutting the Kameo for it might be too big of a trade off. Well, maybe not because Noob can do 35% by himself without an assist, but I genuinely think the main issue with EK is the length that it’s on for. Granted, it is a high risk high reward move and it takes decent game sense and reading the current match to see if you are even able to utilise it. However, as others have suggested to just increase the damage I think that would cause another issue because if let’s say EK now gives Noob a big % damage buff on all his hits - people will now be looking to pop it as soon as they can to get a potential early lead but then you’re still crippled by the timer. Allowing a time extension doesn’t completely overpower the opponent because if they make the right read they can counter it but you are rewarded if you manage to catch them JUST as the buff is about to run out and then boom you can keep extending it continuously until round end, drop or breaker. Idk, they might not change the move at all because Noob can absolutely win games without it, it’s just like another layer on top of his game plan so I suppose time will tell!
That Sounds like a Good Idea, but what would Happen if You Use all the Moves that EK Upgrades (DB4, DB3, BF4, etc?) If You Use all of those Moves during EK, the Buff basically becomes Moot because You've already Used the Benefits & all those Moves go back to their Regular Function.

I was able to get a 56% meterless combo with noob and shujinko using embrace khaos (vs 50% without embrace khaos). Its an insanely cool and fun mechanic, but the fact that theres a fairly restrictive time limit on it makes it pretty bad, especially when you consider the fact that its already a high-risk move. I kept running into the issue of EK running out mid combo. Even in the final version of the combo theres less than a one-second window between activating EK and starting the combo or else EK will run out too early and the combo will be dropped.
They need to add some other properties to embrace chaos. Either .make special moves do extra damage while active or let opponents lose metr for each special move they get hit by during it
I agree, they should buff Embrace Khaos in SOME way, just make it an awesome move so people will start using it, because it kinda sucks just how it is, it doesn't even give you extra damage.
I feel the problem with it is there's almost never a need to do embrace chaos, sure it could turn into an easy meterless combo that does 40+% but he already can do that with one meter and various kameos. As well as losing your shadow for the rest of the round forces you to use worse strings and have probably half of your special moves be unusable, there's almost never a situation where it's a better option unless you have no meter at all on the final round and you find a way to not be punished while using embrace chaos
