what do i think?,glad you asked... i have been a part of the drag race world for over 30 years..crewed,built,raced..have a turbo car in the garage...this type racing has greatly been boosted from the recent TV shows...no secret there,, a large part of the attraction has been some of the personality's depicted as well as the streeet scene was something we could relate to.... but..now, like the pro classes of 10.5 or DR,outlaw whatever vs. the world etc...these cars are so far from street and the majority are 1/4mil. $ cars. and not obtainable without major backing from somewhere besides a 9to5 .... i for one have lost interest.

We talking a half a million dollar program a year all in...your correct...doesn't work with real "no money" race cars as it began.
