I used to go to the drags every time they were here I have a few friends that have rails but it has been about two years since I have been loyal to it because of new baby’s but watching your coverage of these races seems to be lighting the fire again. From Sacramento California thank you
Having set the I.D.B.A. C/ALT record (9.43 @ 146 mph) in 1979 on a KZ 958cc gas motor, small tire, no air shifter bike, I have been preaching the turbo message a long time. It makes me smile to see this technology being developed. Watch out T/F....
Hell yeah I've raced. Grand Bend Ontario Canada. Back in the late 90's early 2000s on four wheels. I'm back into bikes now and would love to get into Harley drags sometime soon.

In our country is it only possible to dragrace in Drachten on a real dragstrip. Drag race lives in the Netherlands because even Germans came to the event, but the weather was bad that day. I've been drag racing for almost 35 years now....snowmobiles tho. Currently have a 2005 yamaha RX1 with a stage 2 supercharger. 18 pounds of boost gives me right around 280-290 horsepower. We run 660 feet on snow. No studs.
Many forms or racing are like this. Most actually. When Lowes can't justify Jimmie Johnson deal, it shows times are tough. It's for the love. Please refer some friends to this channel if you can!
Yep, have raced in Australia. However, as much as I love bikes - whether drag (preferably 1/4 mile), MotoGP, WSBK, BSB, Dakar or just about every other iteration - I've only ever raced 4-wheeled machines - as in cars.
Turbos are such great performance items. I've loved turbos since I was a kid and the turbo intercooler buicks were killing bigger cars. Turbos are also so much easier on the engine than any other power adders. A safe tune can make a ton of power and not hurt the engine. Too bad most racing organizations in the US have had a history of banning them. As Gale Banks says, there is not a racing class where turbo charging was allowed where turbos didn't dominate. Glad to see the turbos making a comeback in all kinds of racing.
Yep, race in Sydney Australia. Just about finished build of a turbo no bar busa for Extreme bike (pro street extreme I think in XDA terms) stepping up from standard length road busa & harley before that
Really want to get into racing as my dad raced a blown (I believe) yamaha XJ900 in the 90's to early 2000's. That was mostly as Willowbank as well, as I live in Brisbane Australia. Actually met you when you came to the Winter Nationals. My dad and I were crewing on Jay Uptons team.
