Killer first tune of the year day. Great job cycle drag on your continued coverage of these events. My wife and I were there Nov 2 and 3 of this year from Denver on our ZRX drag bikes. You took a lot of video of my bike along with photos. Can't wait to see what you post. Shout out to my brothers Eric and Craig Bailey. Love ya Bros. Alan and Bonnie
Hi,i'm watching from uk.Love this action, thanks for bringing it.No longer ride, but have subscribed some time ago.No longer moto-gp or superbikes, but real high speed and REAL POWER from these. What all road riders aspire to do in reality, why else buy a 1000cc bike, other than straight line speed and outdragging anything else on the road. Thanks again from the uk.

I had a 72, Z1- 900 Kawi back in 78. Smoked KZ 1000s. Barnett clutch, smooth bores, yoshimura header exhaust race series. She hopped on 1st n 2nd easily. Miss her dearly
1990 Kawasaki 1000 Ninja. Just a hot looking fairly stock street bike with a kool kustom mint green bay paint job. Fantastic engine. Great top end yet tractable down low. Unfortunately most of those T/F Harley's sound like they struggle to make it to the finishline turning many RPM's.

I'm going with the bar-bikeTurbo Busa design, but it's taken quite a long time to get this trend going. If a no-bar Busa can go 6.4s with a 190mm tire then I suspect, pending weight issues, that the bar-bike should do 5.9s.
i had a turbo z1 with a 1327 cc mtc big block on it denco centrifical clutch j model head falicon crank undercut transmission web cams vertex magnito with rc drive sand s super g carb with a long arm on it and battery eliminater on itt no battery and you kick started it usually started first kick oh yea had mr turbo headers and american turbo pack intake mamifold ran the tires off that bike for 28 years from 1978 to 2006 andi implimented a gsxr1100 single shock in the rearr ,...now zx14 this bike is just as fast almost stock been remaped with titainum header and flow master exhaust
Good observation. It's all about where the technology, interest, money and R&D has been. Pro Street swing arms and suspension have come so far in the past 20 years. As more turbo wheelie bar bikes pop up look for them to surpass teh no-bar stuff. Terry Schweigert has already been 6.19 in a few passes on his new bike, which you can see on this page. They will hit 5s. Thanks a lot for the feedback. Ha! I burn more rubber than Harley's, when I turn my windshield wipers on. Can't see why they bother with a burnout, traction isn't an issue. They have problems getting the tire to spin.
@@cycledrag I have 7 weeks vacation coming. I've worked at the same job for 33+ years. Nasty old paper mill. Probably stay home or go fishing. If I rode a Harley to Pa. It would take half my vacation. 🐢

The wheely bar bikes are slower than the pro street bikes (no wheely bar) why?!
