Just found your channel, love your audit style. Calm, respectful when due and professional. Cop was great, walked in with 0 preconceived notions. Took the time to listen and actually read and learn. Cant make them look good or bad, only they can do that for themselves. Edit: second cop had to go for the personal info 😂😂😂
I expected to find many bad cops on this trip and I didn't find ANY. I believe this is a testament to the previous auditors in the area and the fact the departments finally got with the program. @@CitizenStandpointNews it’s good that our government employees are starting to learn the 1st Amendment since they failed to do so in school. Like your audit style though, I would love to start doing it as well following the lead of yourself, AP & Rouge Nation as far as being polite and not yelling BS looking for a confrontation. Part that sucks is my work hours are not conducive to being able to get to public buildings during normal business hours. Keep up the great work man!
I totally understand. This is my profession from here on out. It's possible to do part time but you will be frustrated many times. There's more work behind the scenes than most people think. I'm in contact with defense attorneys, states attorneys, city managers, county board members... constantly behind the scenes that never get published. Editing is something that I need to improve on to say the least. If you ever decide to take the big leap get yourself an iphone with a passcode, an attorney before anything happens, and read many laws.
@@CitizenStandpointNews appreciate the advice. I suppose I could always start with Post Offices on Saturdays. Just the mon-fri during business hours is what makes it hard. The Officer was a shining example of calmness and confidence. He knew how not to escalate and asked pertinent questions to gather information without creating additional problems. How refreshing!!!
I always love the people that believe you can't be filmed in public. Based on that logic there are at least 15 people I could sue everyday when I walk past their house with my dog. AND, I guess he could sue me since I have a Ring doorbell as well.
People tell you that you "can't film them" because they believe, or hope it will make you stop, because they don't like it. And even if you were able to convince 100% of postal employees and the public that what you're doing is perfectly "legal and lawful", it wouldn't make them feel any less uncomfortable and bothered, because it's an inherently intrusive and confrontational activity. If you really cared about people AND educating folks you would oblige their requests not to be filmed, turn off your camera, and then kindly explain the Poster 7 to them and that you have the right to film. Afterwards, you could then ask if they felt comfortable with you resuming filming. That would be the decent thing to do, and would ostensibly still achieve your stated goals of "educating." But we all know that's not what you really want. You want arguments, you want confrontations, and you want to film it all.
@@OlYables Cool. If you were so inclined to legally arm yourself in public would you stop if it bothered someone? What about your speech, would you cease speaking in a public space if someone did not like it? Surely you would on both counts, otherwise you are looking for a confrontation. Yeah, your argument is flawed.
@@John-tx1wk There is no exploitation of others inherent in my either arming myself or speaking in public. However, the filming conducted by auditors places people unwittingly in situations where their images and demeanor are captured on camera for the ridicule of thousands on RUclips. Hence people insisting that their faces be blurred out. Auditors do not have a monopoly on the use of public spaces; yet they act like they do. "No reasonable expectation of privacy" really means "I will use your image and interaction with me as part of my video, whether you wish it or not, because I am legally protected to do so."
@@OlYables You completely ignored my question. Regardless of your intent if someone is offended by you exercising your rights legally are you going to stop? Yes or no? It is really as simple as that. And I disagree with your premise. Exploitation, intentional or otherwise, is not a measure or even a concept that would need to be considered. I can be grossly offended by your speech in a public space and I can be frightened by you legally exercising your 2nd Amendment rights regardless of your intent or desire to make me feel those ways. Exploitation as you have presented it is just a completely nonsensical and baseless premise and completely irrelevant. Most would probably call it a dodge.
Postoffice, who gets hired to work low level positions at the postoffice? Whoever they are , they are the most lawless and untrained workers imaginable. And you have tried to help them out not haven’t gotten to all of them. Tell the head office your intention. I know you must spend loads of time and gas conducting your audits. So I cant work for a legitimate news media and do personal use recordings on the side? Wouldn't personal use be showing my friends, family and their friends and family? Or does legitimate mean a business? Is he registered a business?
@Internet god are you saying you being 'independent media" makes you not fall under the 1st amendment? Freedom of the press ?
Are we playing with definitions on words here?
These officers were great , someone needs to take them for lunch. You as always do a great job continue on , thank you
Thanks, be sure to share this one. I don't mind showing good cops.
Very awesome police officers - you guys are a shining example and healing that divide between LEOs and those you selflessly serve. I pray that you stay safe. THANK YOU!

Just had a epiphany..... Why not make poster 7 an actual poster and a big one at that.
There's limited room in the post office I would imagine. Having the employees read it isn't asking much though. They get pre paid retirement and they're bleeding billions in bailout money every year. Thanks for watching and be sure to SHARE this video.
@@CitizenStandpointNews yeah you're right I keep forgetting they're adults that get paid to do it... They act so child like sometimes with there tantrums and the huge ego.
Sadly many Police Officers are taking a beating and in some cases well deserved but in this case please let these two Professional Polite Reserved Officers know how we appreciate them. I am very happy to witness this interaction and it would be a pleasure to deal with. Send them compliments and notes of appreciations. Send this out so that others may use as an example. How refreshing to see Officers with a sense of humor. Kudos to their superiors as well. Thank You for restoring my faith in what I knew as a child!!!!!
I hope they do take note that not all auditors are full blown cop haters. I have to give credit when it's due and these cops did great. Thanks for watching!
Just found your channel, love your audit style. Calm, respectful when due and professional. Cop was great, walked in with 0 preconceived notions. Took the time to listen and actually read and learn. His questions were of genuine curiosity and not investigatory. Never tried to go for a frivolous ID grab. Those are the cops we want to see on audits.
Probably after some lawsuits, but at least they changed. That being said, I didn't do any copwatching on this trip, just audits. Thanks for watching and don't forget to hit the Like, Share, Subscribe buttons!
Have the phone and can retain an attorney if need be, but yeah the editing part is something I would need to brush up on as well. Appreciate the advice! Binging your channel in between clients at the moment 😂😂
Don't audit on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. If you get arrested you will sit in jail til you get bond on Monday. Thanks for squeezing me into your schedule. Feel free to ask any questions. I will tell you I'm still relatively new and I don't know everything. I have to ask others or research myself.
The girl in pink you held the spot for was awesome respect girl 👍
Yea, the woke generation people seem to ignore the fact I was nice to that lady.
9:35 “Yep, go and do it. I know it’s coming.” Best part of the audit. Tells the post office manager to go ahead and call the police on himself.
If I weren't in Illinois I would have put Karen Change on speaker phone.
And that's exactly why that police department don't have body cams yet. such professionalism
I was grateful for them being professional. I'm not so sure about not having body cams though.
YEA, IT'S LIKE PULLING TEETH TO GET A POSTAL EMPLOYEE TO READ POSTER 7. IT ACTUALLY TOOK AWHILE FOR THOSE COPS TO WALK OVER, AS WELL.

Thank you officers. It's rare to see respectable cops. Very rare

Read poster 7, I cant I dont have time and my postmaster and inspector said I dont have to read Postal Service Rules and Regulations.
I read it to the postmaster and got zero response, unreal. Thanks for watching and don't forget to Like, Share, and Subscribe!
I know we all like to make phone calls when the police go dirty. It doesn't make you a bootlicker to make a phone call and praise good cops. That's what I'm going to do. I'm going to make a phone call and make sure the city knows they have two good cops here. I encourage you guys to do the same.
Thanks for caring! Emails are better for compliments!
I'm that old guy that really doesn't know how to email. But whatever takes to make sure that the good guys are recognized
I wonder what technology I will be at a loss with when I get older. It will probably be a new type of a toilet paper or something. Thanks for watching!

The Officer was a shining example of calmness and confidence. He knew how not to escalate and asked pertinent questions to gather information without creating additional problems. How refreshing!!!
I hope more follow that lead. It should help with lowering tensions. Thanks for watching!
Should've told that guy to google, right then and there, "expectation of privacy in public" so he could learn on the spot that there is none.
Oh man these ignorant employees are just giving you such great content.
I'm not even baiting...

making people wait at a post office should be a crime
The post office wasting 70 billion in taxpayer money should be a crime too. Thanks for watching! Don't forget to Like, Share, and Subscribe!
I always love the people that believe you can't be filmed in public. Based on that logic there are at least 15 people I could sue everyday when I walk past their house with my dog. AND, I guess he could sue me since I have a Ring doorbell as well.
Dash cams, can't forget about them. I've recorded MILLIONS of people.
It's as if these local post offices are little fiefdoms, run by tyranny and patronage where the leaders, acting out of ignorance and arrogance, spend a lot of energy defending their turff -- least it be taken away from them.
They're at a 70 billion dollar loss and they want more money. Plus these videos exposing the truth.
I find it scary how nice these cops were due to the fact that I've watched thousands of these videos and every cop has at least push the ID thing with a few false intimidation tactics
I was surprised too. ALL the cops I've encountered so far were major passes. Thanks for watching and don't forget to share this video!
US Post Offcices are just like UK Post Offices, full of sad people who think that they have some sort of authority over the public and do their uttmost to make you wait as long is as possible.
You know they don't have a clue when the cops have to tell them their rules 🤣😂😆

He caught me off guard a little with it, which made it even funnier. I will post the video of the beautiful postal worker. I expect everybody to give her compliments.
Very professional police officers, listened to both sides, read the guidelines, made a valid determination. Another great audit. Enjoyed it thoroughly, the "You have to blur my face" guy was just icing on the cake.
Ron saved him from being exposed anymore. Thanks for watching!
many officers can learn from these two
Yes they could.
Thanks!
Thank you very much for the donation!
I think these might be the coolest and most laid back cops I’ve ever seen!!!!
I enjoy meeting them on these terms. Not all my encounters are like this. Thank you for watching!
I really getting tired of the post office employees not knowing their own rules.
Notice how the police act like their allergic to the poster 7 and don't want to go near it.
I sure did. Did you think the first guy was going to change attitude?

Finally! Someone did an audit in my area!! Awesome! Btw, that is a very good camera you have there.
It's a Sony AX53. It's pretty sweet picture quality and zoom wise. I would like to get the next model up on the totem pole but I need to get my moneys worth out of this one first. will spend 20 minutes on a phone, but not 5 seconds to read their posted rules.
That sums up the post office in general and explains why they continue to lose public money by the billions and lose public trust. Thanks for watching and don't forget to share this video!
Give those two officers a raise !!

I have a suggestion for you. Find out who is in charge of all of the post office training. Tell them most of the Post office’s you have visited are not educated. And you have tried to help them out not haven’t gotten to all of them. Tell the head office your intention. I know you must spend loads of time and gas conducting your audits. This will be a Win win for everyone. They wouldn’t have to call the cops and they could do what police officers should be doing. This will give you more time for your Illinois vehicle audit.
If they haven't figured it out by now my phone call and emails will do zero good. The post offices nationwide have been repeatedly audited and they have failed so many times over such a long time it's proof the people at the top don't care. Thanks for the suggestions though. I hope you subscribe!
That makes a lot of sense. But that doesn't give youtubers the opportunity to antagonize customer service people
If you think I'm antagonizing by buying a stamp you are the one with issues.
How are people in their 40's and 50's so uneducated? I learned this stuff (the basics about public and private) in H.S. in the early 70's.
