Awesome razor. I hate to admit it but this razor edges out my previous all time favorite Karve Overlander, and is now my favorite & best shaving razor. It gives incredibly close, smooth shaves and its performance against the grain is unmatched IMO. My only gripe is minor, and I wish it came with a longer handle option, so I went ahead & ordered a custom 4” Stainless Handle from Yates that’s on order. I also got their “SIMPLE SAFETY RAZOR STAND” which is surprisingly nice & well machined. Another great thing is that Yates designs and makes all their products in the USA, which is rare & well worth supporting since too many other companies make their products overseas. I highly recommend this razor to anyone including beginners & advanced DE shavers too.
