  • We recently got to test the new Maruti Suzuki Swift AMT for a road test review and it was natural to us to conduct a tank-to-tank 2024 Maruti Swift AMT mileage test. After all, the new Maruti Swift 2024 was launched with the new Z-series 3-cylinder 1.2-litre petrol engine, which will further power future models like the Dzire. On paper, the new Z-series engine claims higher fuel efficiency than the outgoing model. In this video, we check the Maruti Swift automatic mileage by the tank-to-tank method by driving the car in mixed city and highway conditions. Watch the video to the end to learn what mileage we got with the Swift automatic and our thoughts after driving the hatchback extensively in both city and highway conditions.

Mileage test should be done in peak bangalore traffic. That will be the real test result which will be the minimum across india and will be the benchmark for all cars

While it could be helpful for a certain set of users, it will not offer a realistic sense of fuel efficiency to those who drive in mixed conditions.

Dude cars are not made for Bangalore traffic specifically. Cars are not made for exceptions. Also a few people would never get a good mileage from even a hybrid seeing their driving style. In modest and moderate conditions, company claims its mileage.

I drive quite a bit in Bangalore traffic and my 2018 Baleno gives a mileage of about 13kmpl in city and about 22+ on highway if driven at around 80 kmph and maintaining rpm at around 2000.

Yes, valid for all the AMT variants. Of course, depends on how you drive the car and in what conditions.
