Especially when the show entirely missed the scale of secret invasion AND it’s key aspect - that you have no idea who to trust. It should have been like Winter Soldier on a greater scale. Instead it was so poor and had so many plot contrivances.
Because the public were more welcoming to recasting back then than now. Nowadays, recastings are more obvious, which destroys the immersion, specially during binge watchings, if it doesn't have a reason why in the story for the character having a different face, voice and, sometimes, height and body shape, like in Doctor Who.
WM and hulk were recasted in the early mcu days i believe they are afraid that it could confuse general audiences. That can easily be fixed if they throw a cheesy line like "oh you look different" or remind them that variants can look different tho.

Im sorry i think its a terrible idea to bring back the fox X-men for an avengers movie. Just wait till the mcu X-men debut before doing X-men vs avengers, thers no need to rush. This idea seems to prioritize fan service and cool moments over the story and characters to me.
@BlinkNetwork889 there was definitely quite a bit of fan service and some moments that didn't fit but NWH didn't let that stuff overtake the heart of the story. It was genuinely compelling to watch Spider-Man fight to save his villains from their tragic fates despite everything it costed him. Basically the fan service in NWH feels more like a side dish than the main course.
I mean, it didn’t specifically need to be _four,_ just a period spanning two or three years where ALL the titles released had some common Skrull threat woven into the storytelling. It shouldn’t have been able to be all cleared up in a mere matter of weeks IMO.
Okay little rant here: An X-Men vs Avengers before Secret Wars simply isn’t feasible unless: Cut all upcoming D tier characters shows/films and focuses on their most popular long standing characters they have left. - Thor 5 to repair the perception of his character and introduce the gods finally and set him up to either sacrifice or close his story by Secret Wars. - Dr Strange 3 to continue his either villain arc or the consequences of him using the Darkhold, the incursion he caused, the multiverse and Clea. - Captain America needs to succeed and at a minimum crossover with Wong and Shangchi team they’re building along with connecting with the Thunderbolts. - Give Wanda her solo film (the only remaining liked female character before the actress walks away) fix her arc and have her hiding out in a Mutant universe and connect us to their X-Men team and even tie the Illuminati massacre as a catalyst (like she was in Civil War) - Spiderman 4 finally give us the decision of getting the Symbiote before Secret Wars or after and have Peter deal with the grounded stakes and grow on his own and then you can drop the whole everyone forgot him nonsense. - Fantastic Four will play in its own universe and even tease Franklin being a mutant causing conflict then more than likely by the end of the film will jump into our main timeline and connect to the newly set up Avengers. - DeadPool is already primed to show the X-Men in the void and different variants like MoM and 97 have done and will be crossing over into the main timeline by the end of that film. Maybe just maybe you could make a AvX work.

@@DuskMindAbyssL take - 616 warring with 1610/ultimate universe was a huge factor in secret wars 2015, which is more likely to be adapted than the original secret wars which was made with an incredibly loose story to go alongside a wave of action figures. avengers vs xmen also needs to be carefully set up. it’s a great and honestly by many i’d say very underrated book, with tons of great character moments that feel earned because of the long-built up lore around the phoenix saga, and especially how scott summers has emotionally changed from then and the following years. frankly, at this point, the mcu needs to start thinking about how to make movies before they try and tackle character driven events like these.

I fear this would be far too complicated - and for me, a little dull. I found the airport battle in 'Civil War' to be incredibly contrived, and frankly boring, when compared to the espionage and action of Winter Soldier, which carefully crafted a sense of suspense, intrigue, and visceral combat... all of which Civil War possessed, but frequently veered away from in favour of giving the audience more Big Costume Battles. Marvel films are often at their least inventive when it comes to two or more characters having a set-piece battle. I'm in no hurry to see more of this for the sake of it. Essentially, this idea requires the filmmakers to find a way to introduce two teams that are unfamiliar to the audience in their current form. I imagine that introducing a group of X-Men is going to be quite enough for a film to handle without also having to reintroduce a selection of less well-known Avengers characters and trying to create a plot which bonds them into a new team. I think that Marvel probably need to move away from convoluted plots whose main purpose is to tie this element to that element and reference another element and set up a future element. It was amusing to apply some of the aspects of comic book structure for the initial run of films... but it has become unwieldy and is leading to a loss of focus upon what really matters: telling stories rooted in exploration of character.
I feel like if you’re absolutely on the money getting Anna Paquin back as Rogue with Brie’s Captain Marvel in there so Rogue can get her proper powers. And a Deadpool/She-Hulk fourth-wall break feels absolutely necessary.

I dont see any need to recast the X-men - its so hard to explain the MCU public's dismissal of the Xmen from the perspective of their unnatural power if it isnt there from the offset, considering their love of the avengers, making the multiversal refugees a strong modern reimagining of that concept

I absolutely love the X-Men from Marvel so much so, that I have a detailed fan theory as to how the X-Men could join the Marvel Cinematic Universe: keep First Class, Days of Future Past, Apocalypse, Dark Phoenix, Deadpool 1 & 2, New Mutants in the Marvel Cinematic Universe timeline as there is a massive gap between 1963-1995 with the Dark Phoenix cast appearing in Deadpool 1&2, these films can happen after the events of Dark Phoenix and since Essex Corps is referenced in New Mutants, this could happen in the Dark Phoenix timeline after these events, Professor X uses Cerebro to convince the world that mutants don't exist and erase any new mutant activities from people's minds whenever one is witnessed. however the only person who knows is Nick Fury, who agrees with Professor X to keep tabs on any new mutant activity. this is also referenced in a deleted scene from Iron Man 1, when Nick mentions X-Men the X-Men can work in secret between 1992 up until Endgame. when Tony Stark snaps his fingers, the mind stone reverses the effects of Professor X's actions. resulting in the public now remembering who the X-Men are as for Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, Hydra's meddling with the mind stone prematurely reversed Professor X's actions, as it was mentioned that the mind stone unlocks dormant abilities already present in the brain my theory brings the Dark Phoenix X-Men cast into the MCU, thus eliminating the need to recast the entire X-Men team. the actors are young, they've expressed interest in returning and continuing their roles. it's an option for Marvel Studios to do that I've explained my theory to a lot of people, most of whom say it works. others say it won't work and demand i should forget everything about the Fox X-Men films and be happy with what Disney/Marvel Studios are going to do with the X-Men I will probably receive a lot of negative feedback about my theory, nothing is set in stone, if Marvel Studios can bring back JK Simmons as J Jonah Jameson/the Sony Spider-cast, why won't they bring back the Dark Phoenix cast? there are multiple websites that support my theory, along with the Iron Man 1 deleted post credit scene. not only that, something similar happened in the comics (Robert Reynolds/Sentry and Gabriel Summers/Vulcan) since Days of Future Past rewrote the timeline, X-trilogy/Wolverine trilogy no longer take place as the ending to Dark Phoenix doesn't connect to the original trilogy, leaving it open for possible future sequels. as I mentioned, the Dark Phoenix cast could return and continue James McAvoy - Professor X Michael Fassbender - Magneto Tye Sheridan - Cyclops Nicholas Hoult - Beast Alexandra Shipp - Storm Kodi Smitt-Mcphee - Nightcrawler Sophie Turner - Jean Grey Josh Brolin - Cable Brianna Hildebrand - NTW Stefan Kapicic - Colossus Olivia Munn - Psylocke Peter Dinklage - Bolivar Trask Oscar Isaac - Apocalypse Rose Byrne - Moira McTaggart Anya Taylor-Joy - Magik as I've mentioned, in my X-Men MCU timeline, Mystique dies and Quicksilver dies after Avengers 2. the other X-Men characters I don't mind recasting, as long as they keep the cast I mention above aswell as try to follow my fan theory

Sounds pretty good. I do like that there’s only 6 avengers, recently the avengers have become more of an army in mcu, however, it should go back to being a team. As well I don’t think moon knight will be in the team, I’m pretty sure he’ll end up in the midnight sons, instead, they should add wear machine, as iron man, or maybe she-hulk, or captain marvel
I agree that this needs to happen. An Avengers vs. X-Men movie not only gives us hype for the MCU, but also nostalgia. I think it should work like a Time Runs Out scenario where the X-Men universe from The Marvels is having an incursion with the main MCU and our MCU Avengers will fight that team of X-Men that are the same cast members from the original Fox X-Men films. That helps with the technical issues of the X-Men getting to a place where they can fight the Avengers. Another thing is I am fine with Kang being an overarching villain, but I feel like Doctor Doom is not only the cooler choice, but he can be set up in not only the Fantastic Four movie, but also Doctor Strange 3, so it doesn't feel like he randomly appears. I think Doctor Doom should inevitably defeat Kang at the end of this Avengers vs. X-Men movie, somehow become God Emperor Doom, and create Battleworld, but by the time both teams realize what Doctor Doom is doing, they are too late and realize they should not have been fighting each other all along, being the perfect movie to hype Secret Wars, having multiversal and grounded elements, doing really cool fan service, and perfectly set up Secret Wars with the perfect villain of Doctor Doom.
My half-joking idea for Avengers 5 is to bring Ultron back. Have Hank Pym finally start to snap from years of the Pym particles getting to his head combined with the anxiety of Kang showing up one day, and he finds the last ember of Ultron wherever Vision hid it. While I think it would be fun to do any number of relatively famous storylines like AvX or set up something with Doom, I also genuinely believe that most of those stories need too much setup and time to have the full payoff they could have. Meanwhile, Ultron is a familiar face that almost none of the new roster of Avengers had to face, Hank's spiralling I think would be a fascinating tragedy to round out his and the Ant Man story, and Ultron's new plan could simply be revenge, and the villain has to grapple with what does that emotion mean and feel, especially when most of the actual people he wants revenge on are gone.
first off I fully agree with the title of the video , I mean just with the actors ages , this would have been the prefect time , I mean there was a few different ways they could have done this as well with making X-Men movies and Avengers movies at the same time but connected with the overall main storyline or just 3 movies.

Ngl, i dont think Sam should get the Serum. Just because he is a legacy character, does not mean he should be more powerful than who camd before. Thats how we get Dragon Ball power level discussions and a well written story shouldnt have to rely on that. What makes Sam as Cap interesting is that he DOESNT have it and what he can do without it. They could make a more Mumen Rider tyoe thing with him as he really is just a man, trying live up to the symbol that is Captain America. I still feel like this aspect could still be used in upcoming movies if its written extremely well
The Marvel’s already set up a universe where mutants & the X-Men are fully established, just have that universe collided with the Earth 199999999 again, an Incursion caused by Kang & we see the Avengers & X-Men come to blows & by the end team up to prevent the incursion from destroying their respective universes.
For the X-Men I want Cyclops, Jean, Storm Wolverine Beast Rogue Gambit and Psylocke. Us fans definitely want Channing and Olivia back. The only way I can see Alan coming back is if Nightcrawler is motion capture. He definitely didn't enjoy the make up process.

I think that this will not work for Avengers 5, we need to bring the avengers together first. But in Avengers 6? I imagine they will do the plot from Hickman's secret wars which begins with an Incursion, in the MCU that incursion will be from a version of the xmen universe, a beyonder will appear, probably the Quantum Kang, and smush all the universes together into battle world. Doom will steal the beyonder's powers and put earth back but keep all the heroes from both worlds. the end

A clean slate X-Men was absolutely something we needed, but it's so unlikely now because they keep dipping their toe back into the Fox pool. Multiverse of Madness, the Marvels, Deadpool 3; no one is going to care about new versions if they JUST saw the old ones in the latest MCU fair, and it'd confuse casual viewers too. Like yeah, EVENTUALLY they'll need new X-men, but it'll be too late then; we want proper MCU X-Men teaming up with the characters we know and love (the ones that are left anyway)
They should have multiple Kang variants fight each other using proxies from various dimensions AND each Kang variant seeks an artifact that Kang created: Ten Rings, Quantum Bands, Necrosword, Celestial Ship, Armor. One team could use the X-Men and another the Avengers. They battle to save their respective world's from collapse into incursion. Kang's kill each and absorb and steal each other's power until only on Kang remains. Every time a Kang kills and absorbs a variant that reality collapses in an incursion event. Teams of heroes from those realities fight each other to stop it but fail.
It could work, but the team would have to be Hulk, Spider-Man, Kate Bishop, Clint Barton, Sam Wilson, and Iron Heart as the main six. With the six you gave, they'd need a separate movie to establish them as Avengers and a team because some of them aren't even aware that the others exist, and only three of them have ever worked on a team. With these heroes, the Avengers mostly know each other. They're already well acquainted with Spider-Man, and Kate is well acquainted with Clint. Iron Heart could kinda just show up and they could let her in as the Iron Man fill in. Also, I think Deadpool 3 is going to establish the X-Men in the MCU, so all of the Kang stuff would be unnecessary, and I think the story would work better as something more grounded.

I know this much: I want Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool to interrupt the opening credits as soon as the name of whoever is going to be the new Wolverine. I want him to drop a F-bomb right then, cause this is PG-13 and they only get one. And like… every time Wolverine is on screen, he needs to be just steadily muttering under his breath that this new kid is no Hugh Jackman. Like, really beat that dead horse. You think he’s gotten it out of his system, he’ll see new guy Wolverine and start all over again. Cut to a new scene with different characters on screen and instant before he can drop another f-bomb. I want DP to basically be moping through all of his scenes, like it’s not even worth it without Hugh. Maybe at one point he half-asses some fighting, because he just doesn’t care, and we do a death barrier scene like in DP2, except there’s Hugh sitting at a bar in the afterlife, clinking beer bottles with a CGI Stan Lee, and then DP gets sucked back to the fight. Maybe also have Natalie Portman and Idris Elba. And after the end-credit scenes are done, I want a good 20minutes of outtakes just about Wolverine being recast. Like the bloopers from DP1, “You look like an ugly avacado made love to another, even uglier avacado…”
I have two recast options for Kang: either Corey Hawkins or Ray Fisher. If Marvel wants a caliber actor to replace Jonathan Majors, those are two who I can name.

Honestly this concept just makes me feel exhausted and think of superhero fatigue. Not everything needs to cross over. The X men being in the same universe as other super heroes has never made sense to me
Did everyone just forget that avengers vs x-men was a horrible story? Or do the people who want to see just never actually read the comic? The idea was already terrible in the comics and only made every character look like dumbasses. An mcu version would be even worse, especially since there's no X-Men mcu movies right now so there's zero build up. Bringing back the x-men fox characters is just more cheap nostalgia bait that everyone seems to be tired of. The fox X-Men characters suck aswell so the writers would need to really bring their A-Game to make people care. This is just a REALLY bad idea that would take ALOT of good writing to make it work.
I kind of hate everything about your pitch but it's likely what they'll do. We're just trapped in the past forever. Old versions of characters forever, never moving on from the half hearted X-Men attempts of the past. Whatever. I guess that's what you all want.
Can we please just reach a status quo before immediately jumping into all of our favorite crossovers? I love Civil War as much as the next comic fan, but we barely introduced the 2nd tier of Avengers before we made them all fight. And with this video, we literally only have 2 or 3 mutants in the MCU but you're saying Avengers 5 should be AvX. NO. How about Avengers 5 have Avengers meeting and working with X-men in a cross over? Let's build up a roster of heroes and history of relationships before we start putting them at each other's throats. We have more than enough villains for them to fight before we do another 6 on 6 "civil war".
The only way I can imagine this working is if the end, ended both the mcu and xmen verse. The og xmen cast are too old to carry on for another 10 years of movies and the mcu is such a mess just end with a reboot. But it would be a good way to go out.

Because the public were more welcoming to recasting back then than now.
Nowadays, recastings are more obvious, which destroys the immersion, specially during binge watchings, if it doesn't have a reason why in the story for the character having a different face, voice and, sometimes, height and body shape, like in Doctor Who.
WM and hulk were recasted in the early mcu days i believe they are afraid that it could confuse general audiences. That can easily be fixed if they throw a cheesy line like "oh you look different" or remind them that variants can look different tho.

Incursion!--While Captain America Sam Wilson leads his New Avengers (assembled in CAPTAIN AMERICA BRAVE NEW WORLD and seen in first action in THUNDERBOLTS*) to protect Earth 616 against the variant X-Men invading from a colliding parallel universe (seen in THE MARVELS), the most dangerous man to ever live, Victor Von Doom, is fresh out of Ultimate Nullifiers (see THE FANTASTIC FOUR). So he uses his Space-Time Platform (seen repeatedly in LOKI, DOCTOR STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS, ANTMAN & THE WASP QUANTUMANIA) to prevent the suicide of the Scarlet Witch (see DSITMOM) and convinces Wanda that both her destiny and redemption lie in obliterating all Kang variants and the Time Variance Authority. Im sorry i think its a terrible idea to bring back the fox X-men for an avengers movie. Just wait till the mcu X-men debut before doing X-men vs avengers, thers no need to rush. This idea seems to prioritize fan service and cool moments over the story and characters to me.

@BlinkNetwork889 there was definitely quite a bit of fan service and some moments that didn't fit but NWH didn't let that stuff overtake the heart of the story. It was genuinely compelling to watch Spider-Man fight to save his villains from their tragic fates despite everything it costed him. Basically the fan service in NWH feels more like a side dish than the main course.

An X-Men vs Avengers before Secret Wars simply isn’t feasible unless:
Cut all upcoming D tier characters shows/films and focuses on their most popular long standing characters they have left.
- Thor 5 to repair the perception of his character and introduce the gods finally and set him up to either sacrifice or close his story by Secret Wars.
- Dr Strange 3 to continue his either villain arc or the consequences of him using the Darkhold, the incursion he caused, the multiverse and Clea.
- Captain America needs to succeed and at a minimum crossover with Wong and Shangchi team they’re building along with connecting with the Thunderbolts.
- Give Wanda her solo film (the only remaining liked female character before the actress walks away) fix her arc and have her hiding out in a Mutant universe and connect us to their X-Men team and even tie the Illuminati massacre as a catalyst (like she was in Civil War)
- Spiderman 4 finally give us the decision of getting the Symbiote before Secret Wars or after and have Peter deal with the grounded stakes and grow on his own and then you can drop the whole everyone forgot him nonsense.
- Fantastic Four will play in its own universe and even tease Franklin being a mutant causing conflict then more than likely by the end of the film will jump into our main timeline and connect to the newly set up Avengers.
- DeadPool is already primed to show the X-Men in the void and different variants like MoM and 97 have done and will be crossing over into the main timeline by the end of that film.
Maybe just maybe you could make a AvX work.

@@DuskMindAbyssL take - 616 warring with 1610/ultimate universe was a huge factor in secret wars 2015, which is more likely to be adapted than the original secret wars which was made with an incredibly loose story to go alongside a wave of action figures.
avengers vs xmen also needs to be carefully set up. it’s a great and honestly by many i’d say very underrated book, with tons of great character moments that feel earned because of the long-built up lore around the phoenix saga, and especially how scott summers has emotionally changed from then and the following years.
frankly, at this point, the mcu needs to start thinking about how to make movies before they try and tackle character driven events like these.

I fear this would be far too complicated - and for me, a little dull.
I found the airport battle in 'Civil War' to be incredibly contrived, and frankly boring, when compared to the espionage and action of Winter Soldier, which carefully crafted a sense of suspense, intrigue, and visceral combat... all of which Civil War possessed, but frequently veered away from in favour of giving the audience more Big Costume Battles. Marvel films are often at their least inventive when it comes to two or more characters having a set-piece battle. I'm in no hurry to see more of this for the sake of it.
Essentially, this idea requires the filmmakers to find a way to introduce two teams that are unfamiliar to the audience in their current form. I imagine that introducing a group of X-Men is going to be quite enough for a film to handle without also having to reintroduce a selection of less well-known Avengers characters and trying to create a plot which bonds them into a new team.
I think that Marvel probably need to move away from convoluted plots whose main purpose is to tie this element to that element and reference another element and set up a future element. It was amusing to apply some of the aspects of comic book structure for the initial run of films... but it has become unwieldy and is leading to a loss of focus upon what really matters: telling stories rooted in exploration of character.

I dont see any need to recast the X-men - its so hard to explain the MCU public's dismissal of the Xmen from the perspective of their unnatural power if it isnt there from the offset, considering their love of the avengers, making the multiversal refugees a strong modern reimagining of that concept

I absolutely love the X-Men from Marvel
so much so, that I have a detailed fan theory as to how the X-Men could join the Marvel Cinematic Universe:
keep First Class, Days of Future Past, Apocalypse, Dark Phoenix, Deadpool 1 & 2, New Mutants in the Marvel Cinematic Universe timeline as there is a massive gap between 1963-1995
with the Dark Phoenix cast appearing in Deadpool 1&2, these films can happen after the events of Dark Phoenix and since Essex Corps is referenced in New Mutants, this could happen in the Dark Phoenix timeline
after these events, Professor X uses Cerebro to convince the world that mutants don't exist and erase any new mutant activities from people's minds whenever one is witnessed. however the only person who knows is Nick Fury, who agrees with Professor X to keep tabs on any new mutant activity. this is also referenced in a deleted scene from Iron Man 1, when Nick mentions X-Men
the X-Men can work in secret between 1992 up until Endgame. when Tony Stark snaps his fingers, the mind stone reverses the effects of Professor X's actions. resulting in the public now remembering who the X-Men are
as for Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, Hydra's meddling with the mind stone prematurely reversed Professor X's actions, as it was mentioned that the mind stone unlocks dormant abilities already present in the brain
my theory brings the Dark Phoenix X-Men cast into the MCU, thus eliminating the need to recast the entire X-Men team. the actors are young, they've expressed interest in returning and continuing their roles. it's an option for Marvel Studios to do that
I've explained my theory to a lot of people, most of whom say it works. others say it won't work and demand i should forget everything about the Fox X-Men films and be happy with what Disney/Marvel Studios are going to do with the X-Men

since Days of Future Past rewrote the timeline, X-trilogy/Wolverine trilogy no longer take place as the ending to Dark Phoenix doesn't connect to the original trilogy, leaving it open for possible future sequels. as I mentioned, the Dark Phoenix cast could return and continue

I agree that this needs to happen. An Avengers vs. X-Men movie not only gives us hype for the MCU, but also nostalgia. I think it should work like a Time Runs Out scenario where the X-Men universe from The Marvels is having an incursion with the main MCU and our MCU Avengers will fight that team of X-Men that are the same cast members from the original Fox X-Men films. That helps with the technical issues of the X-Men getting to a place where they can fight the Avengers. Another thing is I am fine with Kang being an overarching villain, but I feel like Doctor Doom is not only the cooler choice, but he can be set up in not only the Fantastic Four movie, but also Doctor Strange 3, so it doesn't feel like he randomly appears. I think Doctor Doom should inevitably defeat Kang at the end of this Avengers vs. X-Men movie, somehow become God Emperor Doom, and create Battleworld, but by the time both teams realize what Doctor Doom is doing, they are too late and realize they should not have been fighting each other all along, being the perfect movie to hype Secret Wars, having multiversal and grounded elements, doing really cool fan service, and perfectly set up Secret Wars with the perfect villain of Doctor Doom.

My half-joking idea for Avengers 5 is to bring Ultron back. Have Hank Pym finally start to snap from years of the Pym particles getting to his head combined with the anxiety of Kang showing up one day, and he finds the last ember of Ultron wherever Vision hid it. While I think it would be fun to do any number of relatively famous storylines like AvX or set up something with Doom, I also genuinely believe that most of those stories need too much setup and time to have the full payoff they could have. Meanwhile, Ultron is a familiar face that almost none of the new roster of Avengers had to face, Hank's spiralling I think would be a fascinating tragedy to round out his and the Ant Man story, and Ultron's new plan could simply be revenge, and the villain has to grapple with what does that emotion mean and feel, especially when most of the actual people he wants revenge on are gone.
first off I fully agree with the title of the video , I mean just with the actors ages , this would have been the prefect time , I mean there was a few different ways they could have done this as well with making X-Men movies and Avengers movies at the same time but connected with the overall main storyline or just 3 movies.

Ngl, i dont think Sam should get the Serum. Just because he is a legacy character, does not mean he should be more powerful than who camd before. Thats how we get Dragon Ball power level discussions and a well written story shouldnt have to rely on that. What makes Sam as Cap interesting is that he DOESNT have it and what he can do without it. They could make a more Mumen Rider tyoe thing with him as he really is just a man, trying live up to the symbol that is Captain America. I still feel like this aspect could still be used in upcoming movies if its written extremely well

I think that this will not work for Avengers 5, we need to bring the avengers together first. But in Avengers 6? I imagine they will do the plot from Hickman's secret wars which begins with an Incursion, in the MCU that incursion will be from a version of the xmen universe, a beyonder will appear, probably the Quantum Kang, and smush all the universes together into battle world. Doom will steal the beyonder's powers and put earth back but keep all the heroes from both worlds. the end

A clean slate X-Men was absolutely something we needed, but it's so unlikely now because they keep dipping their toe back into the Fox pool. Multiverse of Madness, the Marvels, Deadpool 3; no one is going to care about new versions if they JUST saw the old ones in the latest MCU fair, and it'd confuse casual viewers too.
Like yeah, EVENTUALLY they'll need new X-men, but it'll be too late then; we want proper MCU X-Men teaming up with the characters we know and love (the ones that are left anyway)

They should have multiple Kang variants fight each other using proxies from various dimensions AND each Kang variant seeks an artifact that Kang created: Ten Rings, Quantum Bands, Necrosword, Celestial Ship, Armor. One team could use the X-Men and another the Avengers. They battle to save their respective world's from collapse into incursion. Kang's kill each and absorb and steal each other's power until only on Kang remains. Every time a Kang kills and absorbs a variant that reality collapses in an incursion event. Teams of heroes from those realities fight each other to stop it but fail.

It could work, but the team would have to be Hulk, Spider-Man, Kate Bishop, Clint Barton, Sam Wilson, and Iron Heart as the main six. With the six you gave, they'd need a separate movie to establish them as Avengers and a team because some of them aren't even aware that the others exist, and only three of them have ever worked on a team. With these heroes, the Avengers mostly know each other. They're already well acquainted with Spider-Man, and Kate is well acquainted with Clint. Iron Heart could kinda just show up and they could let her in as the Iron Man fill in. Also, I think Deadpool 3 is going to establish the X-Men in the MCU, so all of the Kang stuff would be unnecessary, and I think the story would work better as something more grounded.
Ngl a team the makes the most sense and that has some heavy hitters is.... Captain America,Doctor Strange,Thor,Hulk or she hulk,ant man and the wasp or just ant man,spider man and black panther or captain marvel....that way most of these people have met each other and u got some familiar roles in the team like a cap a hulk and a thor

Thor would make a lot of sense, but I didn't include him because Chris Hemsworth found out he has early onset Alzheimer's (or something similar to that) so I thought he was pretty much done being Thor. Alr, so I don’t think they’re doing Avengers vs. X-Men for Avengers 5 because Avengers 5 is where the whole world war storyline comes to a close, being similar to WWH, I think they need to plan 4 Avengers movies, Avengers 5, Avengers vs. X-Men, and Secret Wars 1 & 2

I know this much: I want Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool to interrupt the opening credits as soon as the name of whoever is going to be the new Wolverine. I want him to drop a F-bomb right then, cause this is PG-13 and they only get one. And like… every time Wolverine is on screen, he needs to be just steadily muttering under his breath that this new kid is no Hugh Jackman. Like, really beat that dead horse. You think he’s gotten it out of his system, he’ll see new guy Wolverine and start all over again. Cut to a new scene with different characters on screen and instant before he can drop another f-bomb. I want DP to basically be moping through all of his scenes, like it’s not even worth it without Hugh. Maybe at one point he half-asses some fighting, because he just doesn’t care, and we do a death barrier scene like in DP2, except there’s Hugh sitting at a bar in the afterlife, clinking beer bottles with a CGI Stan Lee, and then DP gets sucked back to the fight. Maybe also have Natalie Portman and Idris Elba.
And after the end-credit scenes are done, I want a good 20minutes of outtakes just about Wolverine being recast. Like the bloopers from DP1, “You look like an ugly avacado made love to another, even uglier avacado…”
I have two recast options for Kang: either Corey Hawkins or Ray Fisher. If Marvel wants a caliber actor to replace Jonathan Majors, those are two who I can name.

Incursion!--While Captain America Sam Wilson leads his New Avengers (assembled in CAPTAIN AMERICA BRAVE NEW WORLD and seen in first action in THUNDERBOLTS*) to protect Earth 616 against the variant X-Men invading from a colliding parallel universe (seen in THE MARVELS), the most dangerous man to ever live, Victor Von Doom, is fresh out of Ultimate Nullifiers (see THE FANTASTIC FOUR). So he uses his Space-Time Platform (seen repeatedly in LOKI, DOCTOR STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS, ANTMAN & THE WASP QUANTUMANIA) to prevent the suicide of the Scarlet Witch (see DSITMOM) and convinces Wanda that both her destiny and redemption lie in obliterating all Kang variants and the Time Variance Authority. Backed up by a Multiversal army of repurposed Ultrons (see ARMOR WARS), Doom and Wanda wipe out the Kangs and the TVA. This catastrophically unwinds the storylines making up the Worldtree and pitches Loki off his throne (see LOKI se02 and THOR V). All universes begin to collide in unstoppable Incursion events.
This is followed by the "TIME RUNS OUT" films:
1) SHANG-CHI & THE WRECKAGE OF TIME (which shows how Earth-616 heroes escape Multiversal death)
2) THOR V (which details the failure of the Eternals, Gods, Hercules, Loki, and 616-Thor to prevent the death of the Multiverse)
3) DOCTOR STRANGE: TRIUMPH & TORMENT (which ends with Doom taking the power of dying Eternity and becoming God, creator of the heavens and earth of Battleworld.)

@@victorapolinario2766 They have G'iah, take powers from her since she got too many, or steal them from Photon which angers Carol and is one of the reasons they have beef until Rogue apologizes for what she's done and then Photon herself forgives her which leads to Carol forgiving her, thing is that Rogue and Carol are more than just that one outdated moment from 80s tho, they have good friendship nowadays
Honestly this concept just makes me feel exhausted and think of superhero fatigue. Not everything needs to cross over. The X men being in the same universe as other super heroes has never made sense to me

Did everyone just forget that avengers vs x-men was a horrible story? Or do the people who want to see just never actually read the comic? The idea was already terrible in the comics and only made every character look like dumbasses. An mcu version would be even worse, especially since there's no X-Men mcu movies right now so there's zero build up. Bringing back the x-men fox characters is just more cheap nostalgia bait that everyone seems to be tired of. The fox X-Men characters suck aswell so the writers would need to really bring their A-Game to make people care. This is just a REALLY bad idea that would take ALOT of good writing to make it work.

I kind of hate everything about your pitch but it's likely what they'll do. We're just trapped in the past forever. Old versions of characters forever, never moving on from the half hearted X-Men attempts of the past. Whatever. I guess that's what you all want.

I love Civil War as much as the next comic fan, but we barely introduced the 2nd tier of Avengers before we made them all fight.

NO. How about Avengers 5 have Avengers meeting and working with X-men in a cross over? Let's build up a roster of heroes and history of relationships before we start putting them at each other's throats. We have more than enough villains for them to fight before we do another 6 on 6 "civil war".
The only way I can imagine this working is if the end, ended both the mcu and xmen verse.
The og xmen cast are too old to carry on for another 10 years of movies and the mcu is such a mess just end with a reboot. But it would be a good way to go out.
