True democracy should be top down and not bottom up. e.g. China is producing 10 million+ university graduates a year. Just 5 years ago there were 100,000+ middle and high school dropouts, now less than 5,000. The improvement came from the government project of eradicating all absolute poverty, completed last year. 800 million absolute poverty 40 years ago, last million 5 years ago. It is the responsibility of capable government serving the poor and the weak and not the responsibility of the poor to ask or vote for their needs. This is a basic concept of Socialism built upon democracy for China. That’s why China doesn’t have problems of shootings, opioids, evictions, homeless, hunger, inflation etc like the US. In the US, the conditions are so bad now that only rich people are free. In regular neighbourhoods, robberies, gangs, thefts, and drugs are severe, streets are dirty, roads are broken. Good kids might get caught in 200,000 dollars of student loan, retired men might have sell their house to pay hospital bills. One of worse deprivation of freedom is media propaganda. How can people be free when their minds are controlled. Since the beginning of Covid, every line in the NY Times about China is either twisted facts, half truths or outright lies. The cities are clean and people are disciplined following the Traffic rules. Footpaths are excellent without any illegal encroachments. Chinese people are very courteous and helpful. A small clarification> when you ask a Chinese student simply by WHICH YEAR (ARE YOU) , to them it means you are asking which year they were admitted in the uni. And it is quite commonly used among themselves when introducing one to another. For example, someone would introduce oneself by saying MY NAME IS xxx, I AM YEAR 18 STUDENT, MEDICINE MAJOR. It means they started uni in the year 2018.

Katherine is an American who got a master’s degree from a Chinese University, used to date a Chinese guy (I always wonder if they actually got married), and is currently working for an environment advocacy organization in Zhejiang, China. Due to her fondness of the Chinese countryside, she has made tons of videos of many Chinese small towns and villages while biking through rural areas that even many Chinese people have never heard of. These places are all over China and many videos were shot with her ex. Her channel is highly recommended if you are interested in knowing China better.

Actually, common people would be friendly to them. I know several Chinese people who have been living in Indian cities like Delhi, Bangalore etc for years and said that they like India. There is a community of Chinese in Kolkata which is several hundred years old.
All the ordinary people in the world are friendly, and there is no country where the people are more friendly than any other. Hatred of other peoples is often the result of a lack of understanding of them or of being deliberately misled by nasty politics. That's quite normal. I am a Chinese and I went to college in late 1980s. My uni is Huazhong Univ. of Sci & Tech in Wuhan, which had 50,000 students and staffs at that time. The place was remote, 12km to downtown. So my uni was actually a town. We had at least 5 canteens, super markets, post office, book stores as a normal town has.

To get into any college/university in Chinna, you have to take the gaokao test (similar to NEET/JEE), the toughest entrance exam in the world!!
No. Gaokao is toughest because the whole chinese student batch of the year writes it. Extreme competition type. It's not like NEET JEE which are very specific entrance exams. Some 200000 writes neet and some 1200000 write jee whereas some 8000000 write gaokao.
@@scamexpose123 What do you mean by No? Gaokao is an entrance exam. Depending on your chosen stream of study, you take the test. History, math and English proficiency will be common. The rest (business, arts/humanities, sciences) will depend on what you choose to take. NEET/JEE are also entrance exams for studying sciences. Even though the latter is only for sciences, it still remains an entrance exam. What makes Gaokao toughest is not just the extreme competition but the nature of the tests. It runs for 9-10 hours with unending essay type questions testing your ability to think and multiple choice questions. Keeping your brain active for that long writing essays, is crazy. Unlike NEET/JEE where the overwhelming number of candidates take a year or two off attending coaching classes to prepare for the tests, Gaokao is taken towards the end semester of the school year. So, preparation for it runs parallel to your school curriculum. You have to develop the critical thinking in school itself. Although you can take gaokao as many times as you want, to get into your preferred university.

True democracy should be top down and not bottom up. e.g. China is producing 10 million+ university graduates a year. Just 5 years ago there were 100,000+ middle and high school dropouts, now less than 5,000. The improvement came from the government project of eradicating all absolute poverty, completed last year. 800 million absolute poverty 40 years ago, last million 5 years ago. It is the responsibility of capable government serving the poor and the weak and not the responsibility of the poor to ask or vote for their needs. This is a basic concept of Socialism built upon democracy for China. That’s why China doesn’t have problems of shootings, opioids, evictions, homeless, hunger, inflation etc like the US.
In the US, the conditions are so bad now that only rich people are free. In regular neighbourhoods, robberies, gangs, thefts, and drugs are severe, streets are dirty, roads are broken. Good kids might get caught in 200,000 dollars of student loan, retired men might have sell their house to pay hospital bills. One of worse deprivation of freedom is media propaganda. How can people be free when their minds are controlled.

The cities are clean and people are disciplined following the Traffic rules. Footpaths are excellent without any illegal encroachments. Chinese people are very courteous and helpful. A small clarification> when you ask a Chinese student simply by WHICH YEAR (ARE YOU) , to them it means you are asking which year they were admitted in the uni. And it is quite commonly used among themselves when introducing one to another. For example, someone would introduce oneself by saying MY NAME IS xxx, I AM YEAR 18 STUDENT, MEDICINE MAJOR. It means they started uni in the year 2018.

That's quite normal. I am a Chinese and I went to college in late 1980s. My uni is Huazhong Univ. of Sci & Tech in Wuhan, which had 50,000 students and staffs at that time. The place was remote, 12km to downtown. So my uni was actually a town. We had at least 5 canteens, super markets, post office, book stores as a normal town has.

To get into any college/university in Chinna, you have to take the gaokao test (similar to NEET/JEE), the toughest entrance exam in the world!!

No. Gaokao is toughest because the whole chinese student batch of the year writes it. Extreme competition type. It's not like NEET JEE which are very specific entrance exams. Some 200000 writes neet and some 1200000 write jee whereas some 8000000 write gaokao.
selection rate is 92% in Gaokao Test which is way ahead of JEE and NEET
@@scamexpose123 What do you mean by No? Gaokao is an entrance exam. Depending on your chosen stream of study, you take the test. History, math and English proficiency will be common. The rest (business, arts/humanities, sciences) will depend on what you choose to take. NEET/JEE are also entrance exams for studying sciences. Even though the latter is only for sciences, it still remains an entrance exam.
What makes Gaokao toughest is not just the extreme competition but the nature of the tests. It runs for 9-10 hours with unending essay type questions testing your ability to think and multiple choice questions. Keeping your brain active for that long writing essays, is crazy. Unlike NEET/JEE where the overwhelming number of candidates take a year or two off attending coaching classes to prepare for the tests, Gaokao is taken towards the end semester of the school year. So, preparation for it runs parallel to your school curriculum. You have to develop the critical thinking in school itself. Although you can take gaokao as many times as you want, to get into your preferred university.
