To my Indian friends, as you can see in the travel videos, Chinese don't have any hostility towards Indians, I know the border issue is a touchy subject between the two nations now, however, please remember that those issues are left behind by the British, both Chinese and Indian are ancient civilizations, for thousands of years, there were never issues between the two, until the British came along and drew lines on the map, everywhere the British drew lines they left problems behind, many of those are still hot spots in the world today. I hope the two people can find the wisdom to resolve those issues left behind by the colonists over time.
But British didn't capture Tibet & draw boundaries, they didn't force 130 Tibetans to self-Immolate & Buddhism was born in INDIA, it's our duty to save Tibetans & Dalai lama. it's Chinese CCP, who supply weapons to Pakistan, who attacked India in 1962, 67,86, 2020
Some rules are strict here bcoz west has taken supari of China bashing through Xinjiang. They shoot some things and then give different meaning to it and publish in their papers and documentaries. So Xinjiang ppl are very upset with that. As u can see local language was on all shops but west is told by their media China killing local language. Thats why extra checking and security etc. if u r honest and good intentions then people wil love u and respect u. Go to Urumqi the capital of Xinjiang. Its wonderful city !
Let me clarify the two questions you had about the video. First, Kashgar Airport is a dual-use airport for both military and civilian use, so shooting is prohibited at the airport and its surroundings. Second, all cities in China prohibit the sale of goods on the streets. Vendors must have a fixed place of business or go to a designated place to sell their goods. So, in the video, the small vendor selling coconut water ran away when he saw law enforcement officers. One more thing to note is that the majority of Chinese people do not speak English. It can be quite awkward for you to go around asking questions in English. I suggest using translation software to translate your questions into Chinese for better communication.
That what I want to say as well , the vlogger seems to be so confident that always ask someone in English. China's culture and language are so independent .
They show indian pm modi as intolerant to MUSLIMs ....while we have 210 million Muslims without having any riots or anything......irony is most of Muslim friends support MODI cause he is cutting the foreign funding of communal disharmony in the country.....atleast we can go about our daily day to day without any fuss!!!!

I went to visit Kashgar right after my college graduation in 1991. Your video brought back memories. I recognize the big city center plaza. Kashgar was mostly dirt road back then and my Uyghur friends father spoke no Chinese and brought a translator to speak with me. The city is well developed and maintained now. Thank you.
Place is not just melted road and flowers. The smiles of the people ,their helpful nature is amazing. They don't know the language but still try so much to help. Floored by their charm. No impatience, arrogance and rudeness in them
As a Indian who has worked in china for some time, most chinese dont even know about indo china hostile situations, they actually dont care. And you can use google offline translate, speaking English everywhere ti people who really trying understand you, they actually gets a weirdo feeling with this, try to avoid that. Don't try to shake hands unless they offers and you have a good contact- they dont like that. And most importantly, dont behave like foreigners coming to India waving every people hello, they actually don't care much about you, that can be avoided. And wishing you a happy travel.
What a lovely surprise Tourvashu!! I wasn't expecting you to visit Xinjiang on this tour, but glad that you made it. I follow innumerable western vloggers who are based in China who make videos about their lives in China, and so many of them have explored Xinjiang. So so happy that you are the first Indian travel vlogger who covered it!! 99% of Indians have absolutely no idea how Kashgar looks like. All they know about Xinjiang is through western media. So glad that you could capture the city well and willing to experience it in person. You are THE best Indian travel vlogger and I always appreciate your thoughts, understanding, honesty and a positive mind!! So so eager to see you explore more of China!! More cities awaiting you!!
Actually he is not the first indian vlogger who have been to kashgar , he may be the first hindi vlogger who visited kashgar. There is a malayalam channel named albin on the road, he did a road trip from dubai to kerala before covid. He made one or two videos of kashgar and the people over there were so friendly and welcoming.

The reason why vendors were driven away was because the local government did not allow vendors to set up stalls on the street. This prevents crowding and bringing in too much garbage. Of course, vendors can set up stalls and sell in permitted areas. The policies and systems of each city are different. Street stalls are not allowed in many places in China, but some small cities may not be so strict. This is why I like small cities. They have a strong atmosphere of life, and I can often easily drive to the natural environment next to the city to relax.
India can learn so much from you. We face same problem. Govt is not strict. About laws. This creates chaos sometimes. For smooth functioning, cleanliness strict laws are important. We totally need that. Seeing this vedio, wish our govt also makes such laws. And,improves flow of taffic

In your video, you mentioned that when you were buying fruit, you saw soldiers driving away the fruit vendors. In fact, they were city administrators. Their job was to manage the vendors who occupied the roads and affected traffic and pedestrian traffic. This situation exists in every city in China.
We are a country of street food,we know. China can teach india so much about city planning, landscaping etc. You have the experience, we have the need. Town planning in very old cities is not easy. China should maintain and be proud of its old culture and architecture too. That makes china unique. Same modern buildings everywhere. Sad ,you don't wear your traditional dresses anymore. China is so unique,it shouldn't become copy of west and loose its soul and beauty. Your festivals, your art everything is unique. Needs to be promoted
@@induchopra3014 I personally think that most modern Chinese people no longer wear traditional costumes. The main reason should be the changes of the times. People have gradually changed their living and thinking habits. The costumes are generally more complicated, and modern Chinese people pursue simplicity. Classical clothing has carried a lot of human history and culture, if modern people wear it again, it may be different.

Xinjiang is not the least visited province in China. Actually it is a tourist hot spot in China. Many people drive there. Last year, a long-time traffic jam in a remote but beautiful area in Xinjiang made a national news.
As a Chinese, I would like to thank Nomadic for the series of videos on his trip to China, and I am also very grateful to those Indian friends who are interested in China. Chinese people are not hostile to Indians. Many Chinese people are very happy to see foreigners and are willing to say hello. It would be even better if you can speak Chinese. Everyone will regard you as one of their own. Indian friends, please don't be fooled by anti-China media and anti-China politicians, welcome to travel in China. If you are a student, please also consider studying in China, you will not be disappointed here. In the past, we Asians were proud of the American dream. From now on, our Asian countries also have our own dreams. Now it is the Chinese dream, and in the future it may be the Indian dream.
Don't refer to it as a "dream". "Dream" as a word has taken on bad connotations. People think of "dream" as something that isn't grounded in reality and turn into a nightmare. China now instead refers to what they want to attain as "aspiration".
I will tell you some information. Foreigners who go to Xinjiang undergo strict security checks because there have been terrorist incidents here before. Additionally, this is a region that Western media often portrays negatively, so bloggers are subject to detailed inspections when boarding and disembarking from planes. Taking photos is also prohibited upon disembarking, although this is a decision made by individual airlines and varies depending on the company. Xinjiang is relatively underdeveloped compared to other parts of China, so English is not widely spoken here, and Mandarin is the most commonly used language.
In more distant ancient times, the Xinjiang area actually belonged to the Buddhist area and was known as the kingdom of thousands of miles of Buddha. Buddhism was introduced to Xinjiang from Kashmir in 1 century B.C. This region has many small Buddhist countries, such as Kucha and Khotan. The eminent monk Kumārajīva in the Eastern Jin Dynasty of China came from Kucha. But these countries all perished later. The original Xinjiang people basically believed in Buddhism. So you can still find some remains of ancient Buddhist temples, caves, and Buddhist murals in Xinjiang. Islam entered Xinjiang later and expelled Buddhism. Xinjiang began to be Islamized around 960 AD. In fact, if I remember correctly, many Buddhist countries, such as Khotan, and Qocho were wiped out by Qara Khanid during this period, after which almost most people in Xinjiang believed in Islam. Compared with those aborigines with an older history, the Uyghur people were not the earliest aborigines, they came to the Xinjiang area from the Mongolian Plateau(The ancestors of the Uyghurs are huihu, actually are not related to turks). And Qocho huihu, one of the origins of contemporary Uighurs, originally believed in Buddhism too. In the early Qing Dynasty, this place was the Dzungar Khanate. At that time this place is basically ruled by the Mongolians and belonged to the area of Tibetan Buddhism. This is why there are also many Mongolian aborigines in Xinjiang. In 1755, Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty fought a war with Dzungar'leader Galdan, and the Qing army almost killed most of the Mongols of the Dzungar Khanate during this war. Then Xinjiang officially became an administrative unit of the Qing Dynasty at this time. This is also why Xinjiang is now part of China. India is the country where Buddhism originated, but it seems that lots of Indians don’t know that Xinjiang originally belonged to a Buddhist area. The history of Xinjiang is very complicated and long.
How Islam take hold? Kashmir the land of knowledge and wisdom took to Islam under the sword and social discord. We know the kashmir exodus and destruction story but not the xianjing.

The very fact that foreigners can travel to Xinjiang alone will tell how absurd the so called "millions in concentration camp" is. If the claims is true, wouldn't you see massive exodus from the area? Xinjiang is a huge area with a long border lines shared with other countries.
Yeah, Xinjiang tripled it's Uighur people population since CCP took over the country some 70 years ago, yet western countries are accusing China government having a genocide there, LOL. And how many native Indians are left in America nowadays compared to when the Europeans first landed there? 1/20? now if that's not a genocide I don't know what it is!

From this video, I am so shocked to see the city of Kashgar is so well-developed with beautiful roads, nice buildings and so many new, beautiful cars. I made a travel to Urumuqi, the most important city of Xinjiang, 40 years ago (1983)when I was a college student. By that time, Urumuqi was still very poor, not yet developed at all, no public bus, very few cars (I had to pay for a ride standing at the back of a truck going from the railway station to the city centre😮). I am happy to see the whole of Xinjiang is so well developed today. It proves that the China government has been doing so much work to get rid of poverty of the whole Xinjiang province and bringing in new modernisations and uplifting the living standards of the Xinjiang people 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🌺🌺🌺

Firstly, I am amazed that Chinese authorities allowed an Indian to travel to a place like Xinjiang. I am wondering if India allows Chinese tourists in parts of India like Kashmir, Sikkim & North Eastern states. Lets hope for peace and prosperity for both people. Unfortunately, the world is a crazy place, but best thing to do is be civil and polite to each other, irrespective of all the differences. Such a beautiful place this is.
Have you not seen bald and bankrupt videos of all the places you have mentioned 😅 and if someone has faced the problem they would have highlighted it, and the woke media would broadcast the news as breaking news 😅
I just saw a video in which an Indian professor at an MBA program talks about how Chinese and Indian people view each other. He said he discovered that many of the Indian students and ordinary people he interacted with look at China through the lens of border tension while the Chinese he met when talking about India, most of them knew very little about the border issue and instead, they talked about Bollywood and yoga. I think this reflects media influence. I hope people in China and India can be friends, and try to settle differences and disputes in a civilized manner. Both countries have a long-standing history and enduring wisdom. If both countries work together, we will be able to see the whole of Asia raise to play a vital role in the multipolar world.
Nationalist sentiment is a good tool for vote politics, and China government does not need vote politics, so it does not need to use national sentiment to do things and will not be influenced by national sentiment to make decisions.

Xinjiang is now the safest area in China. But the bureaucracy in Xinjiang is too serious. Most of the young people left there. I studied medicine in Shenyang. All my six Uighur classmates chose to work in the southeast coast, and none of them wanted to go back to Xinjiang.
The Indian government does not grant tourist visas to Chinese. The Indian government guesses that China will also ban Indians from traveling to China. But the Chinese government did not. Thanks for sharing this video on Xinjiang. It seems to have further developed since my last visit before the pandemic. I didn't see suppression or so-called genocide when I was there, and always doubt what our western media (and some Indian ones) published. By commenting that you like Chinese people but not CCP just goes to show how ignorant and gullible you are. For what China had achieved today, and how prosperous their people are, it is a joint effort by the Chinese Government and the Chinese people. Without the CCP, you will not able to see the beautiful China, and the friendliness of the Chinese people. CCP is very well supported in China. Saying that you hate the Government but like the people is like saying you like your friends but don't like their parents. Don't forget, it is the parents who brought up and provided guidance to their children. Making judgement based on emotion and hate will definitely lead you to misery and failure.

Yes, I am surprised that he is of the opinion that Xinjiang is a rarely visited country. I am from Singapore, and I have seen numerous videos on Xinjiang posted by vloggers. My only guess is that, India, like the US, blocks access to such videos from their people so as to continue to give them the impression that Xinjiang is a place where the people are oppressed and live in concentration camps. As for Coconut water, I can explain that it exists in all parts of China. These are not the police. They are the city appearance management organization. In China, it is not allowed to set up stalls on the road at will, so they will punish them, such as driving out traders or even imposing fines
Indian cities look dirty and congested because of the roadside hockers... Municipal authorities politicians and local police hand in glove then take bribes from these vendors and make dirty. Chinese central government supports the development of Xinjiang. In 2019 (before the pandemic) alone, central government subsidized Xinjiang more than 200 billion RMB about US$30 billion financially. That means Central government returned all taxes Xinjiang paid to central government + US$30 billion. This happens every year.

Many foreigners believe that the Han Chinese invaded Xinjiang, making it a part of China. But if you look at the history of Xinjiang, 500 years ago it was still a Buddhist ruled region. Really liked the recent episode on University tour, the University campus you showed is on par with any US university campus and looks like education is subsidized by Chinese local governments for a good cause. I hope other countries learn from these healthy practices and don't burden their young, educated, productive adults getting out of colleges with a loan burden of $500K or more and end up repaying with hefty bank interest until they get into their 5th decade of life, sacrificing their young adult life for pursuing higher education. We have experienced first hand Chinese hospitality ! In general Chinese people are nice and love Indians, our family visited several cities including Yangtse river cruise in 2015 and I found Chinese people are very freindly, disciplined, helpful, hardworking, everywhere they were taking selfies with us. You go to any prestigious universities in USA, or any high schools, our Indian kids close friend's are Chinese kids. And lots of elderly Chinese prefer to have Indian docs as their Physician. They are like close family members.

Travel adventures...do come with some surprises....you are a seasoned traveller with right mindset and attitude.... you will not have any problems in most part of the world.... Kashgar was an important destination of the ancient silk route....Kashgari fabrics and woolen shawls are available in India.
Xinjiang is super far from the coastline, under-industrialized, and has an arid climate that is not conducive to agriculture, resulting in economic development that lags behind other cities. The central government and the economically developed coastal provinces have been providing economic assistance, establishing industries and investing in education, providing jobs and thereby increasing the income of the population. Urumqi, the provincial capital, now has a much better economy than before, outperforming Central Asian cities, and Kashgar has a land port for exports that will be even better in the future. The English-language media has been hostile to Xinjiang for a long time and many people were hurt by the terrorist incidents in the early years, so social security in Xinjiang is strictly managed. When traveling in China, Baidu Translate helps you communicate in Chinese, Google refuses to comply with local laws and withdraws, and many services are inaccurate. Videos show real streets and people's lives in Xinjiang, and you may be subject to special cyber attacks. In any case, refuse to use Western terms to describe Xinjiang, a place of countless stunning landscapes, melons, roasted meats, secularized Muslims and multiple ethnic cultures. Drop the political bias, show your respect and get people who are just as friendly in other cities.
Not necessarily under-industrialized as there are oil and gas fields, machinery and equipment manufacturing, auto assemblies, steel, chemicals and textile factories
@@LeMon-wb1sl Many areas do have order of magnitude changes. If some areas of Xinjiang to the upper reaches of the industrial chain such as machinery, generating high value added and jobs, complete industrial technology more cost effect and competitive, multiple forms of exports, to achieve overall financial balance.

Security checks are concerned about bombs and machetes from the East Turkestan terrorist group.
可能以为他是恐怖分子
Let me clarify the two questions you had about the video. First, Kashgar Airport is a dual-use airport for both military and civilian use, so shooting is prohibited at the airport and its surroundings. Second, all cities in China prohibit the sale of goods on the streets. Vendors must have a fixed place of business or go to a designated place to sell their goods. So, in the video, the small vendor selling coconut water ran away when he saw law enforcement officers. One more thing to note is that the majority of Chinese people do not speak English. It can be quite awkward for you to go around asking questions in English. I suggest using translation software to translate your questions into Chinese for better communication.
true,,,,
That what I want to say as well , the vlogger seems to be so confident that always ask someone in English. China's culture and language are so independent .
Even shooting / video recording is not allowed in few of the airports in India , so give correct information…. Till now I can see best infrastructure

Thnk u for the historical information. I like it.
Just think about the fact 1000 years ago, these Xinjiang people's ancestors were still Buddhists, so much has changed since then.
How Islam take hold? Kashmir the land of knowledge and wisdom took to Islam under the sword and social discord. We know the kashmir exodus and destruction story but not the xianjing.

Many Chinese people do not speak English, even in big cities like Beijing and Shanghai. If it were a small city, fewer people would speak English. English with an Indian accent is even more difficult to understand.
I often find it confusing that India's public image in the Western media discourse system is the same as China's - long history but backward. But in the comments on youtube, it seems that my Indian friends are very used to following the Western position, and I really think we should try to correct this mistake and enhance interaction

Yes, I am surprised that he is of the opinion that Xinjiang is a rarely visited country. I am from Singapore, and I have seen numerous videos on Xinjiang posted by vloggers.
